Realy great hotel near airport. Just 6 minute walk and you are there. Room has great sound isolation - so you do not hear anything what is happening outside. Comfy beds and most amazing breakfast. A lot of variety for different taste. Friendly personal as well. Everything you need for good relax.

I had some issues with the lack of available plugs near the bed for charging my phone. Eventually, I had to use a plug meant for a lamp, which meant that it would turn off if I turned off the light switch. To charge my phone, I had to sleep with the roof lights on, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, my stay was decent, but a bit pricey. However, I had a negative experience with the taxi service at the airport. They charged me 300kr for a 3-minute drive, which felt like a pure scam. One more issue I had was that the room had a strong smell of aeroplane fuel gas at first, but luckily, as the night went on, it stopped lingering.

Das Hotel ist per Flybus (FB40) sehr einfach vom Flughafen aus zu erreichen (Haltestelle DNB-Arena). Es fahren eine Menge Busse in Richtung Zentrum (ca. 20 - 30 Minuten). Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Kunstmuseum, das man zu Fuß vom Hotel in 10 Minuten erreichen kann. Mit dem Hotel waren wir sehr zufrieden, die Rezeption ist fast durchgehend besetzt, die Ansprechpartner sehr freundlich und geduldig. Englisch ist kein Problem. Frühstück ist super und es gibt eine sehr große Auswahl an Speisen. Wir mussten an einem Tag sehr früh los und es ab ein sog. Earlybird-Frühstück ab 5:30 Uhr! Auch das anfertigen eines eigenen Lunchpacketes (EUR 14,50) ist kein Problem (Verpackung, etc. wird gestellt). Alles in allem ein recht empfehlenswertes Hotel. Wir waren absolut zufrieden.

Breakfast was great and we liked our room. However, less than 24 hours after we checked out, I realized I’d forgotten my new North Face jacket in the closet in our hotel room. I called the hotel and they told me to email a picture of the jacket, which I immediately did. Since we were still in the area, we returned to the hotel. The ladies at the front desk said my jacket had been found and they were just trying to locate it and asked us to wait. We waited for an hour. They said they couldn’t find my jacket. Several of the ladies contradicted each other each time we asked them what was going on and why it was taking so long. They finally said the jacket couldn’t be located. They were supposed to follow up and tell me what they would do to make this right. The hotel never followed up. One of their employees called and said the hotel wasn’t going to do anything about it and told me she was calling from her personal phone. Sadly, there are some dishonest employees working at this hotel and someone took my brand new jacket that I’d only worn once since I bought it that week.

Nos alojamos en mayo de 2018. El hotel está un poco lejos del centro de Stavanger y, aunque hay autobús, llegamos a pie. Habitaciones limpias y bastante amplias. Quizá un poco ruidosa cuando llegaba el helicóptero pero se entiende, ya que está al lado del hospital. En el ascensor puedes encontrarte a algunos pacientes que se están recuperando en el hotel, cosa algo curiosa, pero en ningún momento desagradable. Hay un pequeño comedor donde puedes hacerte la comida si no quieres comer en el restaurante.

Hotel ini sangat bersih dan baru. Saya tinggal di sebuah bilik dengan dua bilik tidur dan ruang tamu. Ia sangat selesa dan harganya sangat berpatutan. Mungkin disebabkan wabak itu. Hotel Stavanger, part of the Clarion collection in this Norwegian city, provided us with a safe, comfortable and easy 7 night stay. The showers were hot and full force, the included, breakfast had limitless choices, including vegan and gluten free and most rooms seemed to have wonderful views-either of the Skaggen-wharf or the lake park. The hotel was central to the wharf, the museums, great dining and wonderful walks. We had one problem. We were advised that our missing luggage would be placed in a space to the side of the desk and we would see it when it arrived and that we need not ask everytime. By day 3 we asked and this new staff person said they would check in a locked room… voilà. There it was and had been for 2 days. Bit of a “downer” that but not enough to give less of a glowing review.

Un hotel muy céntrico, muy cerquita de las estaciones de tren y bus, y súper cerca del centro, el precio está bien, el buffet de desayuno es extraordinario, tanto en salado como en dulce incluyendo salmón, exquisito por cierto. La habitación grande y cómodo colchón y almohada, la 403 da a la parte de atrás y es súper tranquila sin ruido, baño estupendo. En recepción nos atendieron muy bien, hablando en inglés, echo de menos que cadi nadie habla español.
