City Hostel

City hostel is really central. Only a 5 minute walk from Central Station. It was really accessible and the hostel was very organised with instructions in check in after the reception closes. Very useful. There was lockers in our room and lots of seating spaces away from the room for variety with a shared kitchen and dining area. The bed had a socket with a reading light too and a basket for devices next to the bed. If you need an adaptor it's impossible to use the USB port too. (see picture) No towel supplied so I brought my own. There is a supermarket directly across the road which was very helpful for breakfast and dinner to help my budget as I found Stockholm to be a very expensive city. Overall, no complaints. There was a toilet and shower room separately from each other which was a bit confusing, but easily accessible from the room.

I arrived after 8 PM, and I had to ask other guests about where to find my key first... (I really don't know when reception is open... It say 8 AM - 12 AM, but it was closed at 8 PM, and it was closed when I checked out 8:55 AM..) After getting tip on where to find my key, it was time to find my room... NO INFORMATION WHATSOEVER about where my room could be - of course I searched in rooms available, but it didn't have my room-number....Had they given me a room that didn't exist??? I had again to turn to fellow guests, and they told me to walk through the kitchen... Then I found my room... This hostel is under all critic when it come to check-in after 8 PM (even if their site state other hours for reception opening/closing) Mattress is OK, but beds are very noisy when you move, or someone else move.. I've stayed in a lot of hostels, but never have it been those noisy beds... The bathroom is basically an sirport-style bathroom; serving all rooms i believe... I just arrived from a hostel in Tallinn that had several small toilets/shower rooms, and I think a small toilet closer to your room is better. The common kitchen looked good, but since I arrived late, and leave in the morning - this is not a parameter in my review; it's said that they provide free tea/coffee, but I'm not sure if this is accurate either... It's 12 minutes walk from Stockholm Centralstation, so that's the largest advantage...

I booked this hostel after the hostel I had originally booked was not working out. IThe only private room available was a dorm room with 6 beds but I decided to take it. This hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Radhuset metro station. When I arrived at this hostel the manager was concerned about my loud voice (I am hearing impaired and have a high pitched voice). He told me that I could not be that loud but did accept my payment and showed me to my room. Five minutes later he told me there was a problem with the room and told me that he had talked to the manager and told me that I could not stay here. I was humiliated and not happy to have to find another place to stay. I did receive a full refund of the amount I paid. I would not book this hostel under any circumstances.

great location to explore the city and the old town as well since is 15 min away walk. clean rooms and wc, and the kitchen in a good condition. staff is friendly and helpful with anythink you ask.higly recommend it for a budget satying.

La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de la estación central y a distancia caminando del centro histórico. El hostel es muy moderno y las instalaciones son muy cómodas. Se pueden dejar las valijas antes y después en un cuartito cerrado con llave. Tiene cocina completa.

Das Personal war sehr nett und ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Im Hostel habe ich alles vorgefunden, was ich brauche, ein Supermarkt ist direkt gegenüber und zahlreiche Restaurants in der Umgebung (die Öffnungszeiten weichen aber oft von denen auf Google ab..). Auch die Sauberkeit war voll in Ordnung. 1-2 Kleinigkeiten haben mich gestört, aber die lagen in der Verantwortung der anderen Gäste (Dusche wurde zB nicht sauber hinterlassen, aber es ist klar, dass nicht nach jedem Duschgang kontrolliert werden kann, ob alles ordentlich hinterlassen wurde). Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat, sollte Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen, das Hostel ist ziemlich hellhörig.
