Fairly inexpensive, convenient location, friendly staff. No problems on our first trip to Sweden together. Breakfast did seem extremely expensive being £20+ per person so we did not opt for this. Two room cards were handy, I didn’t fell 100% secure with the door lock design however we didn’t experience any problems. Comfortable bed and free two bottles of water. I recommend checking out Mariaberget for some nice views and then heading to Cafe at Hornsgatan 33, 118 49 for a 35KR latte which is the best I could find in Stockholm. I do not recommend the 7-11 coffee.

Easy to access from airport, and going around all the touist attraction. Breakfast is not much variety. Coffee is all day. A bicycle to rent from the hotel, but we didn't done. A View from the hotel is good.

We had a wonderful stay at Radisson Blu Waterfront and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!! We were celebrating our 4th anniversary and the hotel kindly gifted some yummy chocolates in the room at check-in. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Nespresso coffee pods were replenished every day. The view from the room was amazing too! Big thank you to the front desk staff who were very welcoming and accommodating!! I was also able to leave my large suitcase for 2 days during my short trip to Copenhagen.

The atmosphere of the entire hotel is very pleasant, elegant but not ostentatious, colourful and friendly. At first glance, the hotel may seem to be too far from the city center, but public transportation is excellent, the transportation hub is only 3 bus stops away and the neighborhood is very pleasant. The hotel receptionists are very kind and helpful. The room is beautiful and well equipped, we were especially pleased with the bathroom shelf, which misses in many hotelrooms. We loved the city map on the wall. We had the most comfortable bed of our life. Providing mineral water and coffee daily in the room is a nice gesture. The breakfast is plentiful, with a wide selection and quality ingredients

Had the good fortune of spending the weekend in one of the hotel’s top floor suites (adjacent to the conference facility on the 11th floor). Full disclosure - I had pretty low expectations coming in due to an unfortunate previous stay at this hotel, but that changed completely the moment I stepped inside the suite. It was spacious, comfortable and luxurious with enormous floor-to-ceiling windows and a HUGE terrace facing the city and Globen. The HVAC system was the best I've experienced in a Swedish hotel (a far cry from the regular Nordic systems that keep you freezing in the winter and sweating in the summer), the water pressure amazing and the finishes stylish. That said, if I were to nitpick, it wasn’t perfect - outlets were almost non-existent, a couple of spotlights were out-of-order, there was no shower gel in the shower, the TV was too small for a room of this size and there was no privacy shade for the giant window between the master bath and the bedroom. The housekeeping staff had generally done a very thorough job, with the exception of a part of the terrace that contained a half-eaten orange from a previous guest. These minor issues did, however, not detract from the overall experience and this suite easily ranked amongst the best Swedish hotel suites I’ve stayed in. The hotel has an excellent location, friendly staff and reasonable pricing, easily earning them a full five stars for this stay. I can’t wait to come back to the same suite :)

First up, the breakfast is excellent! There's a whole lot of choice for everyone. There's also enough of place to sit and the breakfast area is not cramped for space. The location is also very good as its quite near to the Alvik bus/train station. A grocery store ICA is also located very near to the hotel. Unfortunately, the rooms make the rating go down. Scandik doesn't have air conditioning in any of their hotels. They have some kind of an air regulation system which is centrally controlled which means that one can't do much individually in the room. Also the windows cannot be opened at all. So during hot summer days, this makes some of the rooms extremely hot if they are located in areas receiving a lot of sunlight. I visited Scandik Alvik during such a summer time and it was extremely uncomfortable. Our room was hot compared to the other rooms my friends and family were staying in. The staff did their best to help us out and move us to a different room after 4 uncomfortable nights but it was still a dampener. The other issue is that kettles are not available in all the rooms. My room didn't have one and when my wife contracted a cold and needed warm water to soothe her sore throat, no kettles were available. We got one only after 2 days because only a few rooms have kettles. There's no mini bar or fridge either. I guess my issues arose due to the heat - maybe in cooler months, these things wouldn't matter.

A marvellous hotel with mordern infrastructure . Its literally next to the Urisksdal railway station ( 1 minute walk ). Breakfast was marvellous , dinner at the hotel was perfect . The pool was not working duting our visit , it was under some maintanance but we had the chance to use the sauna ( at an extra cost) and it was fantastic . I would definitely recommend .

OK as a hotel but very insufficient staff. Located in the outskirts of the city, in the Kista area. We didn’t take the public transport to the center, but by taxi it was a 20min drive max.. We liked the fact that it’s a new hotel with a nice gym, sauna and pool. You need to book for the pool though, and on weekends the pool gets very busy. So busy that we couldn’t get in. The staff seemed insufficient and most of the time, there was no one at the reception to assist. Breakfast buffet is quite simple. You can order one dish from the a la carte menu, but most dishes come cold as they have been prepared earlier. One morning, the crepes ran out 45 minutes before the end of breakfast and they couldn’t make any more. There were no slippers or robes in the room. Finally, and most outrageously, one day my partner was feeling unwell and asked the reception for a painkiller, as he was alone in the room. They told him they didn’t have any and couldn’t send someone to the nearest pharmacy, which is only 500 meters away. When asked to call the pharmacy since he didn’t speak Swedish and request that the pharmacy deliver a box of pills to the hotel. They refused to find the number and call. Sorry, but this is BAD customer service. I assume the hotel would be great for guests that are visiting Stockholm and Kista for business.

The environment and decorations were good. The breakfast was a lot better than expected. The beds were a bit small. If there was a bridge connecting the airport would be excellent. Staying on days with nice weather was totally fine, but what if when it snows or rains? It’ll be challenging to walk with a suitcase.

This is a fine hotel in an excellent location at Arlanda airport. It is very convenient to the airport and train station. The Arlanda express gets you to Stockholm quickly and comfortably. We even took the train to Uppsala for a side trip very easily. The return train left us off within a less than five minute walk to the hotel. The food at the restaurant was first rate.

MmiSs JMHere’s an honest review 🏨The hotel is supposed to be ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️star but it didn’t feel like one. Below are the reasons why⬇️ 1. The rooms are not sound proof. We can totally hear noises from outside and upstairs people banging the door (even though windows are totally shut). 2. They did not have complementary water (which I believe all 4 star hotels should provide). They only gave us after we called them the next day. 3. No slippers provided too, until we called and asked. 4. The shower and bathtub aren’t separated, and it’s slippery. I fell and hurt my elbow. 6. Lastly, I paid for a hotel where I can use their amenities for free (atleast that’s what I thought). Apparently, this hotel doesn’t allow their guests to use the pool and gym for free. You need to pay to get access. (300SEK = 200¥+) Such a disappointment! 🤬 It felt like I was ripped off 😔 On a good note, the location is great. 👍🏻 It is just a walking distance to everything like bus station, coffee shops, mall, restaurants, and tourist attractions.

PPengguna TetamuUnfortunately for this place they had a big party going all through the night and people kept running between floors and open and slamming doors between midnight at 4am. As it turns out you don’t need a key to ride the lift or to open doors! which we found out at 3 in the morning when someone came in to our room by simply pulling on the door open. Upon arrival I was waiting with my kids I. Reception for a good 5 minutes for someone turned up and give us a key. And lastly you can’t have your taxi drop you at the entrance as the there is no road up to the hotel so you have to walk 100 m with your bags to get here. Rooms are clean, staff were friendly enough but I will never stay here again. Not even if it’s offered to me for free.

AAToiChecking in at 3 pm is quite late, especially after arriving from an early flight at 9:15 am. I inquired about early check-in, and even though several other travelers arrived around the same time, it wasn't clear whether they booked through Trip.com or directly with the hotel. I found myself waiting around the hotel for nearly 2 hours in the hope of securing an early check-in. However, the response I received when I inquired about a room was, ”You can return and check again if a room becomes available, but check-in time is at 3.” I was exhausted and took my chances, waiting for almost 2 hours, and fortunately, a room became available. What surprised me was that the guest service at the front desk didn't proactively inform me when a room was ready, even though I was waiting in the lobby area, which is relatively small and not far from the counter. As for breakfast, it was decent, but I encountered a disappointing incident. I placed my food on the table and briefly left to get coffee, but upon my return, I found that the table had been cleared, including the fresh food I had taken. On the positive side, the hotel's location is quite convenient, being close to Central Station and within easy walking distance of various points of interest. Apart from the late check-in and the breakfast table issues, everything else about the hotel was satisfactory.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaGorgeous hotel located 30 seconds walk from the Stockholm Arlanda Express train staton! Incredible location for a traveler with heavy bags, and lots of taxis downstairs. Reception was super vibrant and helpful, really appreciated it given the 25 hours I flew. Breakfast hall staff were lovely, and the restaurant bar was fantastic I loved the seafood casserole. Room was clean and modern. Oh! And my favorite burger joint in the world, MAX, is just next door! Perfect experience, 100% coming back.

JJM MacaWe couldn’t have picked a better hotel for our quick vacation in Stockholm this April 2024. Motel L is stylish, reasonably priced and conveniently located. Upon entering the hotel, we were impressed by the contemporary design of the lobby and the carpeted floors. Our check in experience was a breeze. At 15 sqm, our room was on the small side but it was never lacking in style – there were two comfortable Carpe Diem beds and a rainshower in the bathroom. The soundproofing was also excellent affording us two restful nights. The location is unbeatable – there’s a coffeeshop (Espresso House) and a supermarket (ICA Supermarket) right next door. And the Martensdal tram station is just literally outside the hotel, like less than 50 steps away. It usually took us 20-30 minutes to get to T-Centralen. We were very pleased with Motel L and would never hesitate to come back here. Also worth mentioning are the warm and friendly staff. Shout out to May who really charmed us with her personality during our stay!

Lovely quaint hotel right in the old town. Can walk everywhere from here. The staff were wonderful. Room was small but adorable. Breakfast was a wonderful treat. The only negatives were that there were no usb ports or US outlets and that there is no free coffee or even water in the lobby ( you could get it for a fee) and no coffee maker or hot water for tea in the room. Otherwise a great experience.

PPengguna TetamuThis was not what we were expecting at all. I’ve slept on a 14.5 hour sleeper train in India, in a damp tent in the Serengeti surrounded by hyenas, hostels across Europe, I can fall asleep in airports even, but this is was the least comfortable nights sleep of my life! Luckily we only stayed for 2 nights, had it been longer I would have moved. We arrived at about 8.30pm and the main door to the small foyer/ breakfast room was not manned, which in itself was concerning, I tried calling the number on my booking and the number on the door, my partner walked around the underground lair to try and find someone, we called out down there everything! After about 10 minutes a guy who my other half actually passed in the hall appears. Surely he could see that he was wandering round looking lost?! As part of the booking speil… he adds that the desk is manned 24hours a day…!!! Definitely NOT! I knew I’d booked a twin room but was surprised to be greeted with the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in, with bunk beds, honestly fine for friends and back packers, but this is not a cheap hostel! The bunk beds may be the worst designed bunk beds I’ve ever seen, the ladder planks were constructed the wrong way so you had to place your foot on the narrowest part of the slat! Once I got to the top, the mattress was sunken in the middle, and lumpy, and the sides of the bed were scratched, and even had initials carved on it! And the pillow was more like a fat lumpy scatter cushion. This along with unpleasant smells from the corridor, no window, the rooms rattling when the neighbours moved, dust on the surfaces, and no control over the heating made for two wholly uncomfortable nights sleep. They shouldn’t advertise breakfast as breakfast, rather morning snacks as there was a bowl with apples, a bowl with cookies in and a platter of sweaty clingfilmed cheese rolls. Along with cold coffee and tea. We skipped it the second day! They shouldn’t advertise the Wi-Fi as working either, I feel like these days it should be a very basic standard to include sufficient Wi-Fi in the rooms, it’s virtually non existent. It shows as a signal then “no internet connection”. The pros are the fact that the location is quite good, and the staff are fairly friendly. We had a laugh about the ridiculousness of the room/cell. This is why I won’t give it 1 star. But really this cannot and should not be advertised as a hotel, and should be advertised at HALF the price it is as a hostel, as then I think it will do quite well.

No cleaning service: in the three days that I stayed I always saw the same dirt around: Used underwear hanging, used paper on the floor (everywhere, even in the corridor), beard hairs on the only bottle of soap, on the sink and on the sink counter... When on the second day I asked to the reception guy when it should be cleaned, I was told that it had been cleaned the day before (absolutely false since the dirt was always in the same position) and that they had been cleaning at that moment for two hours... (and the only thing I saw done was emptying the bins, by two quite ambiguous people who live in the hostel and the previous evening were drinking alchool in the common all that for sure are no cleaning service staff)... all the dirt was left there. There is no one at reception before 10am or after 6pm. The telephone number doesn't even work, so absolutely don't arrive late Tiny rooms, THE PHOTOS ARE FAKE, there are two bunk beds less than a meter apart. IF you are taller than 1.70 meters you risk continually banging your head against doors, low bathroom vaults and pipes protruding everywhere As if that wasn't enough they ask for 10 euros for sheets and you have to pay if you want to use the locker. only two positive things: 1-being underground (without windows) and with quite thick walls it is quite quiet 2-it's in the center
