We stayed on the weekend for the Stratford Theatre festival. The Chisholms is a very warm and welcoming place. Everything is very nicely decorated with art and antiques. Walking distance to the theatres. The breakfast was superb. They also have a super cozy and spacious front porch for handing out and drinks. Highly recommend for your stay in Stratford.

We recently were in Stratford for a couple of days and were fortunate to stay at the Chisholms. The location was perfect, walking distance from shops, restaurants, and theaters. The house is lovely and our room was comfortable and clean. Most noteworthy are the breakfasts. Heather is an amazing cook. We have stayed at many B&Bs and this one had the best breakfast!

I could not ask for a better B & B experience. The house is perfectly located for all the theatres, shops and restaurants. Everything is in easy walking distance. The owner, Heather, has filled the B & B with interesting and beautiful furniture and objects; the beds are super comfortable with great sheets and the rooms are quite spacious. Heather is a fabulous hostess and an outstanding cook. Her breakfasts are simply delicious and extremely creative. Bob, Heather’s dog, is the perfect host — very friendly, gentle and well behaved. I will definitely be returning.

A desirable place to stay close to the centre. Extremely comfortable room. Very friendly hostess and superb breakfast, different every day. Better than a 5* hotel. Well worth the money. Would recommend to family and friends without hesitation.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful bed & breakfast. Walking distance to everything, lovely rooms with private washrooms, fabulous breakfasts, and a terrific host. Look forward to a return visit!

We enjoyed an excellent 2-night stay recently. The wonderful gourmet breakfast ensures that the day gets off to a solid start. The rooms in this cozy Victorian home are spacious and tastefully appointed. Nothing is lacking. Location couldn’t be better. We can’t wait to return.

A great location for walking everywhere - theatres, restaurants, shopping. Enjoyed the Washington Room with its very comfortable seating area. The breakfasts are delicious, fresh local ingredients and always something different. Bob the resident dog is charming. Thanks.

We came for the Stratford Festival for 2 nights, and it was perfect. Heather was the perfect host, delicious breakfasts (though a bit over the top), companionable guests, and within walking distance of the theatres. Heather was great fun to talk to. Highly recommended.

A classic stay . This 1881 beauty did not disappoint . Gracefully decorated with art and antiques Heather has created a gem. Fresh baked scones ,homemade jam, local apple cider ,frittata with goat cheese and roasted peppers and scalloped potatoes served in a stunning dinning room with French pressed coffee. It doesn’t get better than this and walking distance to the theatres gardens and downtown. Spectacular! Thank you Heather for the guided walk after our lovely breakfast. We will return. Mona Brown
