the positive: - The staff is very friendly and helpful. Most particularly Adi, he was incredibly warm and gave us much advice. Having people like this in a hotel really makes a huge difference in the experience - The beds were very comfortable and the shower head was very nice. - The little balcony had a wonderful view of the lake - The breakfast was excellent, very fresh and varied. Bonus points to the scrambled eggs. I do not know what is inside, but it was divine. to improve: - The shower did not drain very well, but that can be easily fixed - The gym was not really working, but we were told there were plans to expand the whole section

Hotel Villa & Palazzo provided a most pleasant experience alongside Lago Maggiore. It is an exquisite venue with lovely gardens and well appointed rooms as well as elegant public areas and dinning restaurants. The staff is most pleasant and handled every detail of our stay with expertise and the very best practice of warm hospitality. Even when we experienced an issue, the staff fully collaborated with us and made the appropriate arrangements to resolve the issue in a most expedient manner. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Villa & Palazzo for a lovely weekend or an extended and relaxing vacation contemplating the beauty of Lago Maggiore as well as that of the entire area of Stresa and beyond.

Hotel with great location, next to Lake and ferry terminal. During checkin the receptions took IDs and told to come later to get them back which is unacceptable. Also no information on additional access to pool, had to ask myself after finding on the hotel website. Lot of bars and restaurants even in the same building. Tasty breakfasts, the best crossaints I had in Stresa. The downside is also poor maintenance of rooms, slow WiFi, AC control panel was very old and simply AC wasn't working. Bed very soft which is uncomfortable and unhealthy. If the price is attractive I would stay again but the standard is similar to 2 star hotels nearby.

Great location, great staff, excellent food. Garden is exceptional. Rooms were comfortable, clean and well kept. Staff in the restaurant and the bars were friendly and very attentive. The only slight criticism that you could make is that the reception is a little small with only being manned by at most 2 people.

Abbiamo soggiornato nell'appartamento a fianco all'hotel. Locali spaziosi e moderni, in bagno e in soggiorno mancava un pomello nel mobile. Bagno con doccia spaziosissima e lavatrice. Cucina con lavastoviglie e bollitore. Colazione: i croissant vengono dati a persona direttamente dalla cucina e sono davvero piccini. Varietà di torte (sublime quella al cioccolato), marmellate e creme con pane e fette biscottate. Ampia scelta di cereali. Poca frutta. Abbiamo usufruito anche del ristorante a cena ed escluso un simpatico cameriere che toglieva i piatti da davanti alla mia bambina, molto lenta a mangiare, ci siamo trovati bene. Fra i primi sempre una zuppa, una pasta asciutta e un antipasto (bresaola o caprese), nei secondi sempre carne e pesce. Dolci buoni ma porzioni ristrette. Antipasti e verdure a buffet.

he room was clean and seemed recently renovated, the air conditioning worked well, breakfast service was efficient and all staff were friendly and spoke a variety of languages, specifically French and English, but I think I also heard them speaking German. We booked the restaurant Al Storno, which is run by the hotel as a separate restaurant and it was very good - highly recommended. Disliked · The bathroom fixtures were in need of renovation, specifically the shower cubicle frame had corrosion around the metal joints and didn't easily close or open, and the wall fixtures for the shower head and hairdryer were poorly finished - lack of attention to detail. Some of the light switches in the room didn't work, but this wasn't an issue for us tbh.
