Just stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Male Manager was extremely friendly and helpful. Water bottles were offered every time we saw him. Variety of breakfast selections. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. We needed more towels - towels received. Pull-out couch mattress was a little lumpy but was do-able for our 16 yr old son. Would have liked a little more light in the rooms, but opening the shades really helped. Loved the kitchenette with all the dishes, pans and silverware provided. Loved the pocket door to 'close off' the shower/toilet from the sink, and the additional full mirror in the bathroom sink area, so 3 people could be using the bathroom area at the same time. Overall, a nice setting with extremely friendly people. Very good price. We spun the Marriott Points wheel at the front desk. Just a fun, unexpected perk from this nice hotel.

Hotel was beautiful and would have been an amazing stay sadly the lights by the bed were not working and the fireplace was not working as well.

This is a great place to stay if you are fussy on cleanliness! The staff, are friendly, helpful, kind and caring. Shey and Jesi are 2 staff members l got to know, all, are more than accommodating!! A very enjoyable experience, clean, safe and quiet. I have already booked this hotel for friends that will be coming to visit. The pool and jacuzzi are a great place for some down time! Thanks to all the staff for creating/maintaining this wonderful place!!

I stayed for one night as a halfway point to a camping trip. The hotel lobby is nice and has a great smell to it. The front desk staff were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good. Your standard eggs, sausage, waffles, fruits, etc. the room was nice and spacious. Mine had a sleep number bed which was great for me as a stomach sleeper being able to adjust the firmness of the mattress. The room was clean, but you can tell it needs a good deep cleaning of the carpets and scuff marks on the walls and furniture. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are a light sleeper. The walls are thin and you could hear kids running through the hall and yelling. There was plenty of parking. It was $12. I didn’t get to try the bar or restaurant because I went to the nearby mall instead to shop. All in all, I had a great stay and would come back again.

I stayed at this hotel for business for one night. The Aloft Sunnyvale Hotel was modern and chic in style. I liked how there were different colored lights on the lobby floor. I drive to this location but coming here at night, the environment felt suspicious. There were some people circling around the parking lot staring. It didn’t feel safe at night. The hotel staff were lovely and welcoming. They led me to a spacious room that had a fantastic bedding. The TV for some reason didn’t work and when I tried calling front desk, the phone didn’t work either. The TV remote had some odd water residue and I surely don’t want to know what it is. There could be a bit of better cleaning in here. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. The W XYZ Bar was quiet. The lobby has some outlets if you need to do some work. The hotel itself is in steps with downtown Sunnyvale where you can get your local eats. The location is fantastic, but the cleanliness and safety of the hotel will need some more work. Overall is good. Friendly for a family to cook meal in hotel. There are Lucky and one Mexican market with walk in distance. There aren’t many restaurants around. Linkedin headquarter is also easy to visit. Not far from airport and caltrain station. However, going to SJ downtown by public transportation needs more than one hour to go. Self-driving is recommended.

The checkin was after midnight and the clerk was still really nice checking us in. The parking area was good despite our having a 12 foot moving truck. The area would have felt safe had we wanted to walk around (but we were exhausted so we didn’t). We stayed only one night. The room was clean and pleasant. The room was well-appointed with nice gauzy curtains and a functional quiet heater/AC, but we slept with absolutely blinding lights shining in from the street because we didn’t notice that there were TWO curtain pulls. In the morning, we realized that the second pull operated a blackout curtain which made the room pitch dark, LOL! Also, I called the front desk to report that the heater wouldn’t turn on but that was us again because the controls were NOT the ones on the unit but across the room on a separate wall-mounted thermostat! The room had what seemed to be clean vinyl plank flooring. Walking in socks didn’t get them dirty. Pillows and bed were clean and comfortable (my back is sensitive and was actually *less* painful in the morning), there were two bath towels, a coffee maker in the room. The microwave had a USB port! The windows worked well to keep out road noise and the ambient noise was not at all noticeable. Toiletries are in individual tubes or small plastic individual soaps (skinnier soap bars than usual but I was really glad to not feel so wasteful because I hardly used the soap. The elevator reminded me of elevators in old European hotels - two doors (open the first by turning a handle, then the actual door to the elevator. So it was unexpected but cool because you can see parts of the elevator mechanism through a little glass window. Finally, please tip your maid.

Great Neighborhood Very friendly staff Extremely clean rooms unlike other motel 6’s. Everything is very close by at a walkable distance. Lots of food places open until late night close to downtown.: will always stay here very close to my work place too

Been here concurrently for months at a time in between business trips, and the staff here is very friendly and after a while become homely. The location is close to Bay lands park which has walking trials and plenty of open space, there is a market around the corner and there are several restaurants right behind it. The hotel itself has washers and dryers and a snack and drink machine and the rooms themselves are nice, they have 32 inch tv's, pretty good wifi once you get the upgraded version, microwave, stove tops ect.
