Moxy Solo

This is a brand new hotel so the stay was excellent - bed and space/design was excellent. Distance to train station and nearby attractions was ideal too.

Hotel luar biasa, lokasi sangat strategis, pegawai ramah semua, proses check in/out sangat mudah, kamar bersih, bagus, sangat ok pokoknya 👍👍👍👍

Good ambience very good staff, in central of crowd of solo city. If our trip is on sunday, there is a car free day, so no vehicle can pass through the hotel Please keep the maintenance of the hotel it will be jack up the satisfaction of your customer

The hotel is new and really nice. The staff are great. From security, guest service, concierge. Specially Fajar. The game room and the pool are great too. On Sunday, there is car free day in front of the hotel. My kids said we should come back here again

We had such a wonderful time on the rooftop after Glanier made us discover the place. He took time to make us really enjoy the moment. Thank you very much We drank very tasty cold mocktail. I recommand this place because of the calm atmosphere and its central position

I had a fantastic stay at Moxy Solo, where the fun and energetic crew made the experience memorable from check-in to check-out. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, right in the center of attention, close to Keraton Surakarta, with plenty of culinary options nearby. A special thanks to Indra and Fahrul, who gave great recommendations about the surrounding area and what to visit, ensuring I didn’t miss out on the local gems. And an extra shoutout to Captain Frans, who flawlessly arranged everything down to the last detail. His care and attention made my stay truly enjoyable. If you’re looking for a lively, well-located hotel in Solo, Moxy is the place!

Newest and only Marriott hotel in Solo. Its a Moxy, a more budget conscious hotel in Marriott stables. However, they didn't skimp on service side. Service was as good as their more upmarket hotels (the room are on the smaller side though :D) Location wise, it was great. Most of Solo's attractions was within walking distance of the hotel. Would definitely recommend the hotel for both Bonvoy members and general public.

First time staying here. The hotel is newly open in about a month, and the first Marriott's property in Surakarta region, which is located in the heart of Solo City. Got my check-in process effortlessly in the second floor and greeted by very friendly and cheerful staffs. Offered a special refreshing welcome drink with its unique taste of ginger and lime. I got my room upgraded to a corner one, this time I stayed in room 705, with a city view, and right next to the Slamet Riyadi main steeet. I could certainly feel the interior is still newly constructed and still smell the off-gassing odor when I entered the room. I love the youthful and uplifting room design, even though I am not sure that the style is for everybody. One thing to notice is the unavailability of a refrigerator inside the room, as I found out also the case as in Moxy Hotel Bandung. The noise from the main street right in front of the property is loud and disturbing, especially during mid night to dawn, when the illegal street race started and the sound of motorcycles could easily wake you up. I really hope they could fix the soundproofing quality up as I also bothered by the noise from the hallway which could easily heard from inside the room. A compact 24-hour gym is available on the roof top, made me more flexible to hit it at night time. Overall, I still feel that this property is pretty much worth for its value, and will consider to give it a second stay when I am in Solo/Surakarta next time.

We decided to go on a last minute school holiday trip and we chose Solo. Initially we only booked 2 nights and wanted to move to another hotel, but because the children really liked the hotel and its facilities, we finally decided to extend our stay at MOXY Solo. The rooms are quite spacious for their class and the facilities are complete, including an infinity pool. The thing that children like most is the Lobby which makes them feel at home because there are lots of games. Oh yes, one more thing, for 3 nights at MOXY Solo and enjoying a varied breakfast every day, our favorite is free-range chicken egg and instant noodles (Indomie) station. Kudos to Frans & Ale
