Ulasan Novotel Surfers Paradise

I have stayed at Novotel Surfers Paradise numerous times. I love the location most of all - Located directly above the Oasis Shopping Centre and less than 200m to the beach. My room today had amazing sea views. Car Parking is also really good as Novotel shares the shopping centres car park, I usally hate paying for parking how ever I feel its a fair price at $22 per day, unlimited entries in and out and its valid until midnight on the day you depart. The room is clean and a good size, the breakfast is one of the best hotel bueffet breakfasts I have had, I have traveled to many countries around the world - and Novotel's breakfast get my #1 vote. My only issue I have with Novotel Surfers Paradise is the time to check in - it can be absolutely terrible the wait times are often unacceptable, I made a comment in the lift just this morning about this, all the other guests agreed - its just too slow. This seems to be an ongoing problem as I have enountered it before - so i dont know what the problem is but I feel I'm not the only one that has this issue. Overall I still love Novotel Surfers Paradise, Trip.Com always seem to have the best price around by far making it a very good option for Surfer Paradise.

It’s a huge building with at least 5 lifts. Some of them go to the parking area which is super convenient. Having WoolWorths down there too is lovely. Hot spa bath (5 floor) took us through the cold times.

Location is fantastic but the room quality is lower than 4 star hotel and wasn't clean especially the bathroom was disgusting

The best thing about this hotel is its location. How fantastically close it is to the Cavill Avenue shopping street. There's even a Woolworths in the mall right below the hotel. Basically, you can get any food and necessities within 5 minutes of walking by the seashore. I haven't had the opportunity to try out the hotel facilities which from my seaview balcony I noticed that there was a tennis court and an outdoor pool. The hotel is a bit old though, since it's probably renovated from the previous owner, signs of wear and tear do show in some corners, but it doesn't impact the overall living experience much in this spacious room. Thankfully they gave us a room over 25 floors above ground with nice sea view. Would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the precious chance to visit the Gold Coast again based on how great this hotel offers with its reasonable price (Other major hotels by the seafront are very costly during Australia's summer month of December).

Hotel was mediocre at best. Old and tired, carpet in rooms old and dirty, bathroom was 2 star and badly designed with a good deal of water on slippery tile floor after shower. Step into wet area is dangerous with water on shoes or feet picked up from the bathroom. Not enough power points convenient to desk for business traveller

We had one of the worst hotel stay experience. We booked for an ocean view room , paid extra but in the end was told they don’t have anymore ocean view room upon check in. Room was dated, seriously in need of refurbishment. Room floor was still sticky even after they have made the room. One of the days they were unable to clean the room and were told they don’t have enough cleaners and can’t keep up. Was compensated with $15. I rather get my room clean properly. On the positive side the breakfast staff was very efficient. Constantly clearing our table. Was glad to to check out today.

Best of the best location. Staff are friendly and very polite. Room is very clean, quite spacious with comfortable bed. Bath room too small. no microwave in room, no place to reheat the food. I call reception several time from room, but no one answer my call.

Good hotel with clean room, great location and friendly staff

You get what you pay for and these days customer service is cheap. Staff don't know parking rules, no staff communications, payment was full cost that you apparently had to call another number just to get a $4. Discount. This was after informing them that Iam at the discounted price 4 times. Not worth my 2 cents. Or is it $4 now?
