Excellent location, surrounded by restaurants and shops, and facing the lake boardwalk. The hotel is solid and traditional in its style, typical of the decade it was constructed. Front staff spoke English, they were polite, however, I was annoyed as they didn’t have my room available till 16:30, only smoking rooms were available earlier, surprised this brand has those rooms types available in 2024! Nevertheless, they upgraded me, and left fruit in the room. The room was spacious, bed was very comfortable, view was stunning and the round bath tub was ginormous! Breakfast was ok, not as extensive as other InterContinentals, but sufficient. Swimming pool is massive, and open till 23:00, which I’m grateful for. They are slow in releasing the deposit which should be credited on checkout, I didn’t receive it till the following day, that is not acceptable. So some minor issues but overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

This hotel is in general excellent. We were also given an upgrade. The view over the lake is brilliant. The food in the buffets is very good, and the Riva steakhouse is very good. Plenty of shops close by for convenience! We would like to come back!

The view is wonderful, you can see the mall and lake! The service is the best I have seen yet, they also have great food options.

This hotel most certainly did not disappoint, the stay was extremely pleasant and the views were spectacular. The hotel staff were fantastic and their efforts did not go unnoticed. Kyle, for example was professional during the check in process and patiently answered questions. I initially booked the ‘King Premium Jinji Lake View’ room, however, he kindly upgraded my room for free so that I could have a better view of both Jinji lake and the city, which was stunning. The housekeeper was attentive and did an excellent job in maintaining the cleanliness of the room. The room service team were also accommodating of special requests to meet my dietary needs. Although there was some minor dissatisfaction with temperature of food being served, what stood out to me was their receptiveness of feedback and how they provided instant solutions. Overall, the staff working here demonstrated utmost professionalism and are an asset to the hotel.

Hotel location is superb, easy to reach lot’s restaurants and arts centre. Room size is big and sparkling clean.

We got up sale with a ambassador membership for a room upgrade, not a bad deal. The room is spacious and had a good view. You will wake up to the Lakeview each morning. Only bad thing is the construction going near the hotel at the moment, hotel supply us with some ear plugs tho.

The experience is very good, the front desk lydia service is very warm and thoughtful, the location of the hotel is also very good, this experience is really friendly to our kind of migrant workers who come on a business trip, and it is very convenient to eat and shop nearby, the most important parking is also free, it is really a very good experience! Amazing hotel & service in a great area close to Jinji Lake. Would continue to stay whenever in Suzhou.

Hotel is perfectly localed beside big shopping mall and the lake. Staff very friendly, even got a room upgrade for free. Breakfast is huge and very good quality. Anyway, the windows are locked and can’t open. AC didn’t work properly, only turns on at the highest wind level which is too noisy to have a good sleep.

My hotel stay was wonderful. Checking in was smooth, and they recognized my silver member status. The staff was friendly and attentive during my visit. Breakfast was delicious and offered a good selection of food. I used the gym daily; it had modern equipment. My room was spacious and offered a lovely view of the lake. The hotel is conveniently located near shopping and dining spots. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this hotel.
