Lovely hotel in a good location for bus routes into Newcastle city centre and only a 2 minute drive from the Metrocentre. Everything was clean and as expected. Team in restaurant (one of them was covering from Newcastle airport) were lovely and chatty.

Good solid, reliable Premier Inn. You know what you are getting and this site delivered. Staff were very friendly, bed was clean and comfortable, top ups of tea and coffee were easily available and the temperature of the room was easy to set and keep where you wanted it.

So helpful and accommodating to us as my husband has mobility issues and nothing was too much trouble for them. Staff very pleasant and friendly. The accessible rooms are always reliable and the meal deals are very helpful when you don't want to have to go out in the evening in a strange town or city to locate a restaurant which can cope with accessibility issues .

Dined with family who were staying at the hotel. We stayed till late and then joined them for breakfast. The food was nice. Ladies on breakfast were really friendly and helpful. They said they were due a refurb and we would like to come back once it has been started and finished. The hotel receptionist next door helped us with our elderly family who were visiting which was really kind.

A convenently placed hotel with free parking and comfortable rooms. The real plus is the pleasantness and helpfulness of the staff. Also an added bonus is how good the food is in the restaurant.

The hotel room had an odour The thermostat didn't work The room was grossly overpriced cashing in on the Great North run. The food was just about edible.

Booked for 2 nights whilst running the Great North Run , nice and quiet hotel , bed was very comfy . Was most impressed that there were complimentary bottles of water , banana's, vaseline and Sun cream in reception on the morning of the run as well as Champagne after the run in the evening . Would book again for next year.

Surrounded by dual carriageways not a chance of walking anywhere, Asked about public transport was told down at the end of the road very helpful!!! Garage on site so walked there for snacks and drinks, Bar opens 5pm till 11pm restaurant 5pm till 10 pm
