Lots to love but room for a few improvements. The biggest is the doors on the rooms. They are heavy wooden doors and slam really loud. As you can imagine that’s quite annoying when people go in and out waking people up Bathroom door rotten at bottom from damp, needs replaced, looks awful. Cleaning under sinks and taps in bathrooms, the things you see when you sit in the bath!! Painting of the room could be a bit tidier, white paint all over grey radiator pipes. Cleaners could be a bit more gentler when hoovering, they batter the radiator pipes in the rooms and it vibrates to the room your in , next door! Out of stock of some flavours for cocktails, young staff seen with mobile phones very casually. Move out of sight, the customer / service are important Food is expensive for the quality you get too

We had a great stay. Our room was on the ground d floor and had a great space. Decor was a bit dated but very comfortable, and the bathroom has definitely been upgraded and a great size. Breakfast is buffet style and was nice and fresh - prompt service - good quality produce also - so good I cleared my plate! Car park was completely full so had to wait a while until a space became available

The location is excellent, with easy access to many parts of this walkable city. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and let us know that we could pre-arrange buffet breakfast on a day by day basis at a reduced rate. They were also helpful with pre-arranging taxis when needed. The restaurant had a lovely view and excellent service. The pool was very nice (and pretty large for a hotel pool) and the hot-tub was an added bonus.

One of the best hotels is stayed during my visit for a wedding. The welcome was very warm and the room was spotless. The staff were very helpful and kind. A special thanks for the receptionist/housekeeper who checked me in and the breakfast waitress, since they both made feel at home and very safe (as I was a solo traveler). Very close to the city center as well, only 10' on foot.

Located five minutes outside of Drumnadrochit, but the owner gave us excellent directions and we found it without a problem. You do need to drive to find somewhere to eat (and there’s very limited choice in the evenings), but the owners recommended the Loch Ness Inn which we dropped in to before arrival and the food and beer were excellent Warm friendly welcome by the lady of the house, showed us around and explained everything. Room was excellent – very spacious and all controlled by Amazon Echo (including the heating). View from our window was across Loch Meiklie and there were even binoculars in the room for a better view. Coffee / tea making facilities with an array of snacks to help ourselves to if we wanted. Bathroom was great with large walk in shower. Bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was continental only, but it was stunning. Wide range of pastries, cereal, fruit etc with a selection of cold meats and different cheeses – one of our favourite breakfasts of our two weeks in Scotland. The hosts Stu and his wife were first class – excellent conversation over breakfast Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again if we’re ever in this part of the country.

With a good breakfast - cooked and continental - included, you can't really go wrong. Friendly check in, everything you need in the room. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

ZZherHotel is great and the stay was comfortable. It's quite convenient to walk to the bus station as well at the train station. The room is clean however the toilet shower doesn't has a door and the water slashes out causing whole toilet to become wet after shower. The hotel do provide bottled water in room and has a restaurant on the ground floor. The staffs are friendly and overall stay experience was amazing.

Kkross1709Having paid in excess of £800 for two nights I expected better service. It is impossible to get any hot room service after 7pm which is bizzare and late night arrivals or business travellers need to know this. The lounge menu and room service menu is the same thing. At 6:15 we went to the lounge and wanted something light for dinner but was told were we not allowed to order from the lounge menu at that time of night. However not quite being 7pm it meant we could still order a hot sandwich from room service. Couldn’t quite get my head around this. So they were still willing to make a hot sandwich, put it on a tray, carry it through the lounge where we were sitting, take it up two flights of stairs to our room, but not willing to deliver one to us in the lounge. Bizzare attitude from a very expensive hotel. Seems to be engineered to force everyone wanting any kind of hot food between 6pm and 7pm you have to be confined to room service and anything after that time it’s the restaurant only at the appropriate price. There is no movement on the rules. Hotel certainly lacking in going that “extra mile” for the prices being charged.

This was a return trip to Inverness. We decided to stay with SYHA - what a great place to stay! Helpful staff, comfy beds, well equipped self cater kitchen. Yes it's a little bit of a walk from the middle of Inverness, but a very comfortable stay.

PPengguna TetamuGood hotel but, for their regular double room, over priced. The Glen Mhor is basically a collection of former B&B establishments which have been taken over and redeveloped. This means that the majority of rooms are in neighbouring buildings so a bit of a walk is involved! I have stayed here before and each time found myself in a small double room. They are clean, well decorated and fine for an overnight stay. On the downside, they tend to be so small that there is no room for a chair or workspace. This time around we opted for the breakfast package. The restaurant was right at the opposite end of the complex but the walk along to it was pleasant. The breakfast itself was excellent. Staff were incredibly attentive and the range of food on offer was very good. Would I stay again? That would depend on the package on offer. I wouldn't opt for a 'room only' given the small size - there are plenty Premier Inns around which, to be fair, are of an equal, if not higher standard to the standard double rooms at Glen Mhor. Location is excellent for the city centre and depending when you travel, there is plenty parking available.

PPengguna TetamuAll staff were very nice and friendly. The room was lovely and clean, although the hotel is a bit tired looking. Shower had no hot water, which was a pain! Breakfast was average but buffet style and plenty of it. Breakfast could easily be upgraded with better bread for toasting, not the cheap stuff! Food and drinks were hot and tasty enough. For the price, I expected a more classy breakfast.
