I love how clean my room was, I hope for new pillows. They were not fluffy enough. I had a good sleep though. The staff were also pleasant. I love the K9 named wattatops. I also would like to suggest to add fruit looks on your cereal for breakfast and more food choices for buffet.

My fiancee and i like this hotel since its clean and the staff are very much accommodating.. Foods are great too... Plus its near in Sm, baywalk downtown church and in port going to manila all in walking distance only..one thing im sure is were going to go back in this hotel again and again... Thank you so much Acacia Hotel for the good accommodation that we experience during our stay there.. Godbless.....................

I decided to try this hotel again because the location was close to the port. While I found it better than my last visit it was still not on par with the best hotels in Bacolod. The good: - The hotel is clean - being attached to the SM Mall with lots of choices for food and shopping was great - Sleep quality was acceptable - water pressure in the shower was great The bad - breakfast was especially bad. No bacon, no egg station, the only juice was calamari’s- how do you provide a breakfast buffet in a tropical country with no mango or pineapple juice??? The coffee and tea is serve yourself. This simply does not compare to the breakfast buffets at the better hotels in Bacolod . The no longer provide individually bottled water in the room. Instead it’s a large bottle that at least in my room was not marked as filtered, so I went out and bought water. - overall the feel is as though they are trying to get by on the cheap. The low quality desk chair, lack of individuality bottled water, poor quality towels, etc. all lead to this feel It’s not bad, just not worth the price. There are much better options in Bacolod for less money

This has been my go-to hotel since 2013 and I can say that I am always at home every time I check in here. My recent stay was during the holidays from December 29, 2023 to January 4, 2024. What I notice different from the previous stays were the staffs are more proactive and very customer-service oriented and would greet you when they see you at the lobby. These minor touch is very well appreciated by guests. The front desk were very helpful and efficient. The housekeeping were always on their foot everytime I need them. The bellman were also warm everytime they greeted us at the lobby. The hotel room I stayed was great although a bit dated. Aircon was good and powerful. The bathroom was also great, not slippery, no moldy areas. The breakfast buffet is great as well. Staffs at Ripples restaurant were up on their feet and is very efficient in assisting guests. Overall, I had a great stay and would still stay here when I’m in Bacolod.

Nice resort. Beautiful environment. Though for me, the walking is strenous, uphill, downhill, with many steps - not for seniors and PWDs. Limited rooms for accommidation. Pricey, too. Can be the resort's improvement to add more rooms. Only 1 main restaurant, location may be far depends on your chosen cottage, but there were food kiosks on some parts.

It was good and we were impressed that the room has all the stuff we need. The pool is big and the staff around was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was great too. It would’ve been better if they give discount to their guest’s companions as the per head charge is more expensive than most places in Bacolod.

Booked a Deluxe Queen room. Quite big and good value for money. Swimming pool is nice. Left me a little bitter mouth because in 40 years of travelling this is the first time I have been charged for a dirty towel. Reception was like ”Sir, we need to charge you because the towel is dirty”. Me: ”aren't these supposed to get dirty?” Reception:” Yes, but not that dirty”. Towel was dirty (dust from the car, no oil or things like that, just dust), nothing a washing machine would clean. I was in a hurry to check out otherwise I would have washed in the shower and left it kind of cleaner 🙄. It's ok, I have been charged 300php, but of course I requested them to give me the towel. Lol.

PPengguna TetamuThe room was spacious, a first for me since the usual accommodations I had before were smaller. The bath and potty areas were separate - another first and this setup made it easier for the multiple guests to use what and when they needed. There were multiple power outlets inside the room, which was great. Coffee, sugar (which seemed to be muscovado/coconut sugar), and creamer were placed in small glass containers, which were aligned to be sustainable. Instead of plastic mineral water bottles, a tall, reusable, glass bottle was placed and the water station/dispenser was down the hall, near the elevator area. This was another first, and I found it clever and unique. The let-down, however, was the small refrigerator that needed to be replaced since the racks showed signs of giving up. Guests could enjoy the pool, the outdoor swing (which was another first, and I found it refreshing to sit and relax), and the abundance of greens while inside the resort. The Bistek Bisaya (Visayan version of beef steak) and lengua con champignon are a must-try from its Village Restaurant menu, along with its Village Fried Chicken (really crispy to the bones). Its breakfast buffet offers unique, home-cooked ('lutong bahay') selections, including boiled plantain (saba) and camote, lemongrass tea, and camote tea. Nature's Village Resort provided a breather for me from the busy urban life. :)

Great relaxing resort, in Sipalay, Philippines. It's quite tucked in, but once you're in this private beach are, you're transported into this colorful, yet peaceful little nook, of a resort. The beaches are soft and easy to walk around. They have restaurant/bar, plenty of games and activities, a chlorine pool, if the ocean isn't your thang, warm & friendly customer service and rooms.that have fun themes! We stayed in ”The Cave” and there was so much detail throughout, that it really felt like you were IN one! Hope you check them out! Such a great resort!

There is a power socket by bed but it's covered ? At less than a tenner to replace let's get it done.

Resort is beautiful, the ambiance was relaxing. The bed and pillows would tempt you to just lay there all day watching tv. The staff are all amazing and very accomodating, the food the restaurant was delicious. The view was amazing and plenty of spot to relax , look at the ocean and listen to the waves.

PPengguna TetamuOne goes to a place, with certain expectations, based on what you see in pictures posted in sites and feedback from personal friends who have gone to the place - such was the bases of our decision to book in Nabulao Beach & Dive Resort. The place looked good. The grounds upkeep did not disappoint. The flora was very nice, providing very calming green surroundings. The beach front has lounging chairs - sounds of the wind and the ebbing tide - peace and quiet...i.e. if a big LGU (local government unit) group have not booked the same days you have. Apparently this is a resort popular for conferences and meetings. Major downsides! Be ready to have No Service (globe or smart) and no internet connections in the rooms. Be ready to be disconnected and be off the grid! The resort staff advised us that to be able to be connected to Globe we have to position ourselves in the beachfront. To also have internet, even if you have data, one is also expected to do the same. Apparently, this is a problem of the whole place. Sipalay & Hinobaan are places with very poor internet. Definitely these are not places you can go to for workation! If you are expected to WFA (Work From Anywhere) this is not your go to place. To have cable TV in the rooms, the system is that they put in a ”load” for the use of guests. Unfortunately for us, the cable TV in our room had ”No Load”. The combination of no internet and no cable is not good at all when there is nothing else to do. The pools were not clean. We were told that chemicals for the pool were ordered but have not arrived. The beach is not ”swim-able”! Sand mites in these parts are vicious. Adding to this are the stray dogs, cats, chickens! The staff were very polite and listened to our concerns. However, they seemed not capable to act on some of our concerns immediately - perhaps not empowered enough by management to address guests' complaints. For example, changing our towels which were full of holes and for sure have seen better days. With a little pressure, on our 2nd & last day, they gave us a new room with cable connection and better looking towels. The staff being nice certainly made up for the difficulties experienced. But I still am not changing my Poor Rating.

I was attending a party in the hotel that night and decided that I would rather check-in for the night than drive home late. The room price (I got superior) was very reasonable plus I had a seniors’ discount. What a surprise to see a beautiful newly-renovated home with an hacienda feel with the wooden planks. So homey plus the black out curtains would certainly give one a restful sleep. Am waiting for the next party and will definitely book myself again there. By the way, Twist, the restaurant serves really good food (I’m picky with my food) and at very reasonable prices. I had US angus pot roast for my lunch!

PPengguna TetamuI stay in hotels 200+ nights a year, both for work as a healthcare professional traveling around the U.S. and for leisure in Asia, where I live. In recent memory this is the ABSOLUTE WORST hotel that I have stayed in. Saying it is HORRIBLE is not an apt description. Think worse, MUCH WORSE. Staff were rude, insolent, indifferent and were the least representative of ”hospitality” that you could imagine. My wife and I were traveling separately because I was flying back home from the U.S. and she was coming from up island. We normally stay in a much better hotel each time I get back from an overseas contract, but our usual hotel was booked out. The hotel looked ”okay” on the website. Not in real life. Despite numerous emails and texts, one that very morning, about my wife arriving ahead of me and occupying the room the front desk staff made her sit in the lobby for 2+ hours because the room was ”Not ready”. The only thing that would have made this room ready was a wrecking ball. This hotel has set a new sub-standard of excellence. If you lowered the bar any further a snake couldn't slither under it. Grime, filth, rust, the bathroom vent fan hanging out of the ceiling, the room ”safe”, a shoebox sized box, didn't work, but no worries, it had been ripped from the wall previously, so you could just carry it with you under one arm. Just getting into the room was an adventure as the entry tile was buckled so that you couldn't open the entry door completely. You couldn't open the adjacent closet door either, but that really didn't matter since this hotel does not provide hangers. Really. No hangers. The pool, viewed from our room, might have been inviting to cool off, if it hadn't been for the lovely ”Frog Pond Green” hue of the water. We asked for extra towels and an extra pillow. Those come at a cost. The next day housekeeping took the clean (extra) towels out of the room, but left the dirty ones on the floor. Then the front desk called and said that we needed to pay the ”daily rental” for the extra pillow. Otherwise they would be sending someone up to collect it. After the 2nd night we'd had enough. Really, we would have shifted sooner but I was jet lagged from 30 hours of transit from the U.S. back home and, really, could it get any worse? Well, yes. Day 2 I awoke to find a construction worker on the access balcony outside our room's window. At 0605 hours. Peering in. Silly me. We were on the 4th floor, why did I need to worry about drawing the drapes. He smiled and waved. This would be a great place to stash your hated mother-in-law, worst enemy or evil boss. The staff seem to be taking their hospitality cues from binge-watching the PURGE movie series. The ONLY redeeming factor is the SM Mall located about 0.3 km away. So, you can always look forward to shopping. Like I said, the WORST hotel experience in memory. We fled. There are a few decent hotels in Bacolod. This is NOT one of them. Stay clear and far awa

LLaluna273Die Bewertung vor mir kann auf keinen Fall für dieses wunderbar auf einer kleinen Insel direkt am Strand gelegene Resort sein. Da hat sich wohl wer verlaufen! Wir haben uns selten so wohl gefühlt und hatten so viel Spass. Besonders bei unseren Ausflügen mit Detlef (Inhaber) einmal über die Insel und 1× zum Einkaufen auf Negros. Die kleinen Bungalows sind sehr schön. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und liebevoll zubereitet. Die Massage ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Tauchbasis ist gut organisiert. Das Personal ist immer kompetent, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wird englisch und deutsch gesprochen. Es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub, auch wenn aufgrund des sehr schlechten Wetters, der ein oder andere Tauchgang leider ausfallen musste. Wir werden auf jeden Fall noch einmal wieder kommen! Wir hoffen es geht Euch allen gut und wir sehen uns bald alle gesund und munter wieder!

IIsaac Ayer 艾耶尔 StaffordThis hotel was in an excellent location next to shopping malls within walking distance. They provide laundry service for a reasonable price including folding. They had a place to put our two bicycles inside overnight so they were safe as well.
