Hotel berhampiran Quarry Green, Sydney

The location is just perfect, super close to Central from where you can travel to any part of the city ! In walking distance from the hotel you will find lots of food places of different cuisine. I stayed there on New Year Eve and got an unexpected surprise in my room when got back in the evening: a box of delights (cheese , salami, fruits …) and a bottle of champagne 🍾 as a compliment from Novotel ! It was so thoughtful and nice of them , really appropriated that move ! Another thing which I really liked is the softness of the bed and different types of pillows so anyone will find the most suitable for himself ! Last time on my trip I stayed at Novotel Darling Square, but could say that was much more happier about my stay at Novotel Central ! Highly recommend!

Clean hostel with friendly staff. Rooms were spacious with large lockers for each occupant and personal plugs and bed side lights in a great position. Showers/toilets on each floor and I never had to wait to use them. Downside is that you can hear the music from their basement club even on the 6th floor until late into the night. Didn’t bother me as I was only there a few nights and I managed to get enough sleep. Kitchen is WAY too small for amount of guests in the hostel. The social events put on by the hostel were a good way to meet people as a solo female traveller.

I traveled solo, so I chose the hostel for staying in Sydney for 4 days. The location is great!!! 20 mins away by a train from the airport, a lot of train stops and bus stops around. Breakfast is not great, yogurt, cereal, croissants, muffins, toasts, some can fruits, tea, coffee (12$). In this hostel something happened that never happened to me before. I left some of my clothes on the bed, keep housing changed my bedsheets and took my clothes away. Even though I still had 2 nights left. The best decision (that’s what they said) is they gave my a voucher for breakfast lmao!!!! I kept coming and asking if they found my clothes but they didn’t and the last day when I already was leaving they said okay, we can call the police if I want to solve this problem. That’s ridiculous! For 2 days they didn’t do anything, every time when I came to the front desk there were different workers and it was quite hard to find a manager! So if you decide to stay here, keep all your stuff in the locker. The padlock is 6$. There are washing machines and dryers, I didn’t use but as far as I remember around 8$. The cockroach was on the kitchen level, huge as my thumb.

It was totally a good choice staying here for 7 nights, easy access to train station and walking distance to touristic places. Variety Restaurants nearby walking distance nearby from fast food to Asian choices. Love it a lot. Definitely will come back for stay next travel to Sydney

Our stay at the YEHS Hotel on York Street had both positives and negatives. The location is fantastic, very central and close to everything, making it convenient for exploring Sydney CBD. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the basic amenities provided were sufficient. However, the decor is outdated, and the room was small and cramped. The overall cleanliness was a major letdown aswell. The bathroom had a sewage smell, the shower wasn’t clean, there were a few cracked tiles, and the room itself was dirty. Despite the great location and helpful staff, the cleanliness and maintenance issues significantly impacted our stay.

We stayed for two nights at the end of May. Our room was quiet & clean even if in need of a refurbish, which presumably, going by the building works going on, is in progress. The building works didn't impinge on our stay at all. Our breakfast (which was included in our room rate), was surprisingly good. The area it was served in was very clean and bright. We found all the staff to be pleasant. Being able to checkin & checkout on line made things move quicker, especially the checkout. The cost of accommodation in the city is very high so we were pleased that Song Hotel was a bit more affordable to us.

Staying in Fullerton Hotel is a wonderful experience. Hesitating between the Fullerton Hotel and the Four Season，finally here we are. Half an hour was spent on the way to the hotel from Sydney International Airport by train，which is in the vicinity of St James Station. Greeted by professional concierge and receptionist，the check in was less than 5 mins. 1 dollar was deducted from card as deposit. The room of 40 square meters was really big for two person. Mini bar was filled with different kind of drinks. Bed & sofa was soft and cozy. Room service was available via a black i-pad on the table，paid by either cash or card when checking out. Sydney Opera House & Hyde Park was nearby，together with other luxury stores. The room price was friendly during off-season，which will definitely double when the new year come. Haven’t tried the Four Season yet and can not give any comments，but Fullerton experience was truly nice and worthy.

I had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Although an argument can be made about eclecticism and the use of curating a collection of exceptional vintage and contemporary objects this was not the case here, it read as a mismatched bric-à-brac (to borrow a Victorian word from the building time period that's true meaning in French means ”any old way” or ”at random”). Nightcap at Chester Hill Hotel demonstrates excellent reviews from numerous hotel guests. Upon our visit to the pub and entertainment floor at the ground level, the room's interior design was relatively unique and posh. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and well-trained, and they informed us accordingly about the covid restrictions. We want to give special thanks for an excellent demonstration of Ms. Yasmine's Hospitality. Thank you to Ms. Yasmin, who has been helpful and guided us with direction and amenities and gave us a warm welcome, and guaranteed our expectations and concern had been met. Her extraordinary and multinational people skills must be highlighted and recognized -it was a wonderful visit. For all travelers, we are recommended the Night Cap at Chester Hill hotel. Once again, genuinely appreciate the hotel team members, especially Ms. Yasmin. Keep up the good work, I will see you again next time.

This was our second stay at quest woolooware bay. The hotel is new, clean, fully equipped and couldn't be more convenient for a night at the footy. We've stayed in 2 different studio apartments, both with views and spacious. Cannot fault anything except for the air con/extraction vent being a bit on the noisy side and navigating the carpark on game day and up the steep ramps does require care and concentration. Not a deal breaker though! Definitely will stay again.
