+: perfectly located in the heart of Szeged; staff is friendly and helpful; rooms size is nice and large, same goes for the bathroom which is very well equiped and with all needed amenities; breakfast is okay, nothing too wow but it does the job; bed and pillow are very nice, and I'm complicated with those! -: no real bad points. Just think the breakfast may be improved. Appart from that, nothing really. Had a pleasant stay in the hotel for our first time. Would recommend as its price/quality ratio is superb.

Struttura abbastanza datata come arredo e servizi. Area colazione ricavata nell’entrata dell’hotel di fronte al bancone della reception. Poca scelta della colazione e sistemata in modo poco invitante. Per due volte di seguito le marmellate confezionate erano impossibili da prelevare perché tutte imbrattate di marmellata. La camera non è stata rifatta tra un giorno e l’altro. La camera assegnata i era al terzo piano confinante direttamente con la piccionaia del sottotetto. Alla mattina il risveglio è garantito anche senza la sveglia… insopportabile. Di 4 stelle, 2 sono forse di incoraggiamento.

Das Hotel ist ideal geeignet für einen Wochenendtrip nach Szeged. Es liegt einfach perfekt im Zentrum der Stadt. Es ist alles, was man für Wochenende benötigt in der Nähe und gut erreichbar. Sicher, dass Hotel ist angekommen, aber das macht auch ein ganz besonderen Flair aus. Wir mögen es und sind bereits das zweite Mal hier zu Gast gewesen?

Stayed here for one night and must say i was impressed of the lovely comfortable beds ,but that was it,the beds were fantastic i must admit and the view to the Doom church but that was about it.Reception was great good tips from the lady about restaurants ,lovely from her to inform us they will chrage us 15€ for parking our car downstairs( they wont wash it either for that price),and ask us if we have any allergies for the breakfast .Ya...talking about that breakfast : eggs are not for everybody s taste im sure im not the only one,and the bread rolls were undercooked and baked cheese or whatever that was is too cold to eat and tasteless.Place was clean but the WC smells funny probably from the products they use to clean which stink like cheap .Level of the hotel is ok but for the prices they charge its way lower quality.And the project architect who organised these room and the bathroom sink is deffo not a master and needs to rethink .Baby bed was nice to have in the room but if not requested in advance takes too much place in the room .Appreciated the Islam tv channels too .Owners should inform in the website about the charge for parking as in all the hotels i stayed in Europe nobody charged for this and deffo not 15€!!Overall a nice experience but needs improvement in many aspects .Though thanks for having us but for this price i would look for another next time i visit Szeged .

It was a great two nights escape from home. Here are all impressions starting from our arrival: Parking ''pay per hour'' in front of the main hotel gates, but free just on the other side of the hotel and behind it. First half hour is free even in front of the main hotel door, so You can take out Your luggage. Very pleasant and helpful staff at the reception desk. Nice first impressions of the lobby. Biggest lobby I ever seen with all new and comfortable furniture (full of people at the evening). Room was standard size, with one large double bed (although with the connection of two mattresses in the middle) and one folding sofa. Nice big balcony, although not usable in cold January. As far as I could see in the passage while the maids were cleaning, mostly all the rooms were of the same size and quality. Great heating (important for vinter period). Beautiful bathroom and one of the nicest shower cabins ever. Large TV with some German and Serbian channels in addition to Hungarian ones. The only drawback of the room is the rather uncomfortable sofa bed. The part under the head is at an angle (slope), which is very uncomfortable. The staff told me that unfortunately all sofas are like that, because they are brand new and they were all bought the same. But if a small child sleeps on it, it can go down under that slope, and the sofa will still be long enough for him (which unfortunately was not possible in my case). Fairly soft mattresses on the large bed. Standard mini bar. Comfortable bathrobes and towels for both the bathroom and swimming pools. Dry and warm connection of the hotel to the aquapark! We've already been to this aquapark before but only daily, so there were no surprises there, and on this occasion I won't mention what's in the aquapark, but I'll concentrate on the hotel itself. What I didn't know is that apart from the water attractions in the aquapark itself, the hotel has an excellent spa on its ground floor (over 16 years old only). Aroma room, salt room, several different saunas, steam bath, jacuzzi, massages, tepidarium, outdoor wooden sauna, small pool, bar...all that will surely make me want to return, just with my wife. And then, after swimming and resting, we come to dinner! I can safely say that the food in this hotel is one of the best we have ever had. Probably one of the 3 best. Shall I start listing?.....Just briefly - all the most famous and most beautiful Hungarian national as international dishes in fantastic quality! Children's food corner - fantastic. Breakfast is no less varied and high-quality than dinner. Everything in buffet style. Btw, the hotel was full and the dining room was very crowded, but everything worked perfectly, and most of the guests could be heard praising the food. In the evening, a few interesting amenities for the children in the hotel (most of the guests are families with children because of the aquapark). We stayed for 1 night, very clean hotel room, good location, but the hotel room was 3 times more expensive than normal as there was a sports event in the city. For this price we would have expected there to be working air conditioning in the room, especially since the temperature during the day was around 27 degrees and our room was on the 8th floor with a south facing balcony on a sunny day. When we phoned up reception to say the air conditioning is not working and it was 25 degrees in our room at night we were told that someone would be out in the morning to look at it. We then had to remind the person that we are only staying for 1 night so it's not much help to us if someone comes out in the morning. They just repeated that someone will be out in the morning and we weren't offered any other solutions like moving rooms or bringing a fan up to our room. We were staying with our 9 month old baby who was not used to the heat and was up all night. When we complained about this again at check out we were told that the heating is centralised and that they were turning the air conditioning on the day we were checking out. For the price we paid I think it was unacceptable that they didn't have air conditioning or didn't organise the air conditioning to be switched on when the it was that warm outside, or offer any alternative solutions to make our stay more comfortable especially when travelling with a baby.
