The Lake Hotel Tagaytay

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lake Hotel Tagaytay, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the breathtaking views of Taal Lake to the exceptional service provided by the staff, everything was perfect. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully designed, offering a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious and offered a variety of options to suit every palate. The amenities, including the pool, were top-notch and added to the overall luxurious feel of the stay. I highly recommend Lake Hotel Tagaytay to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Disappointing stay, not recommended. The outdated facilities, unpleasant odors, and overall poor condition of the hotel made for an uncomfortable stay. Pros: - Accessible, central location with good views Cons: - Outdated and worn-out facilities - Depressing room and shower with questionable cleanliness - Unpleasant smells throughout the hotel - Mediocre breakfast buffet The room smelled dank and felt depressing. The shower was in poor condition, the grout and tiles looked nasty. Even worse, the dining area for breakfast had an oily, pungent smell that was off-putting. The breakfast buffet was just okay, but I probably would have chosen to sleep in IF NOT FOR THE UNWANTED CALL AT 8:30AM. Never asked for a wake-up call and yet they called at that hour when we were just getting some sleep. The room and the bed weren't the most comfortable but coupled with the dank smell, we just couldn't get a wink of sleep until around 4AM. This plus the fact that they called at 8:30AM really ruined the experience. I asked the front desk for a late check-out and mentioned that we just wanted to make up for the hours we lost to discomfort and sleeplessness, they allowed but they will charge a fee. I declined because I'm definitely not paying for more disappointment, I was only asking for a few minutes to recover the bad start to our day. I'm also on the other side of hospitality as an owner myself, so I know the extent of service our guests can demand given specific circumstances. I believed our situation merited some small accommodations which they weren't even gracious enough to provide. Overall, even with lowered expectations, the stay was very underwhelming and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to others visiting Tagaytay. There are likely better options available that would provide a more enjoyable experience and better value for money.

The scenery is fantastic. I love the way they accomodate the guests. However, there are something that need to b fixed like AC, it was leaking when we came to the room. Someof their things are old. But I would like to commend the technicians and cleaners who responded in time. As a whole. It was great.

We had a great stay here in lake hotel tagaytay. It's also our first time to travel around tagaytay. And they also grant my anniversary complimentary for my parents. One thing that I dissapointed is that our room is not spacious and there's no view at all. I was just shocked during the check-in that the room i booked is standard but i know by myself i booked a superior room. I also pick a double size bed and request to set up an extra bed if not possible for 5 pax . But there's no set up. Thanks for Ms. Camille for helping us to check in and check out however she is not friendly 😁 I can't feel that we're welcome because when she speaks she makes her face poker that's all . And Good service for Niño if I'm not mistaken for his name.he helped us during checkin and checkout and he is also doing mabuhay greetings every time he sees you around and he also offer to take us a picture 😍 good job niño for your good in service you deserve this good review lastly The view is great however it lacks cleanliness for the swimming pool area and the restaurant is boring. Would be returned again if by chance ❤️thank you!!

Beautiful pool view of taal volcano. The rooms could use a more thorough cleaning and the staff could be more attentive.

I've been here twice now, once during the pandemic. I'm not sure if it's just me, but it seems like the hotel was more glamorous and luxurious during the pandemic. The quality of their food was better before, and the facilities were cleaner and nicer. I've come to realize that they seem to operate more effectively when there are fewer people; in short, they struggle to handle larger crowds. We came here for our latest visit for my mom's birthday, and I know I'm only an ordinary customer who requested for a complimentary birthday surprise or something. I didn't expect it to be just a birthday card with a towel arrangement, but overall, everything was good.

After long journey and travel disruptions when we arrived out first room had a very loud noise, problem with keycard we were told, then we got moved into another room where I nearly slipped and hurt myself because the floor was soaking wet next to the doors out to balcony. The room we got moved to had no view of volcano like our first room did. Rooms very dated and apart from view if you get put in correct room you pay for, certainly not good value for money. The breakfast is not suitable for foreigners as has very limited choices.

Great view. interiors were already quite old, but we can see that they are already doing renovations. Hopefully the hotel will get new interiors and will be modernized. Great value for money since the amount already included a breakfast buffet for 2. Hassle free check in and overall a great experience.
