Hotel opened ~12mo ago, entire building is new. Whatever growing pains it had, the Le Meridien Taichung has figured most of them out. This brand can be hit/miss depending on city, but the Le Meridien Taichung is a great property. Well-appointed rooms are huge (60 sq m+), even the walk-in shower is huge. Lots of electrical outlets/USB for charging devices. Wi-Fi access points work everywhere in the building. Great views of the Central/East Districts and Main Station, especially at night. Amazing price point for this level of hotel quality. Service is where Le Meridien Taichung shines. Exec Lounge team so helpful, special thanks to Angel, Lisa, Irin, Yang. Concierge helped us with check-in and restaurants (Billy, Wilber, Debbie). And Marriott app chat with Front Desk works great, responded within minutes. Parking in the underground garage (elevators run directly to room floors with your key) with in/out privileges is free for guests. Front Desk will add your license plate number, cameras at gates will read it. Oddly, the Marriott app shows daily fee TWD 2400 which is almost half the daily rate. (Obviously still ironing out some stuff.)

Kakitangan meja depan mesra dan terlatih. Kalis bunyi bilik adalah sedikit lemah (anda boleh mendengar pintu sebelah ditutup pada waktu malam dan bunyi bising di koridor pada waktu pagi)

幾乎每次到台中工作，都是在這間酒店，每次安排的高樓層和禁煙要求，他們都已預先知道，每次到來就像回家一樣💕😊。飯店距離台中火車站衹需5分鐘路程，附近便利店食肆交通，都很方便。房間空間不大也不少，不會給行理擋道的情況，浴室🛀🏻附設浴缸，設備齊全，床褥舒適，空調溫度合宜不會睡到出汗👍🏻飯店有提供計程車安排服務，來回機場酒店都很方便。👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This is the best hotel I had ever stayed so far. The location is just a walking distance from Yi Chong Street Night Market. The staffs are courteous and accommodating. The room is clean and the bed very comfortable. There is a snacks counter where you can eat anytime aside from the good breakfast served in the morning. You can even use the computer at your convenience. There is also a laundry area where you can wash your clothes for free.

Perkhidmatannya sangat baik. Kakitangan perkhidmatan semasa daftar masuk sangat bersemangat dan perkenalannya sangat baik. Terdapat juga hadiah keahlian bir dan jus, yang merupakan kejutan yang menyenangkan. Semasa mendaftar keluar, dua kakitangan perkhidmatan di kaunter juga sangat comel dan bersemangat (lelaki, perempuan), dan saya tidak tahu mengapa, mereka mungkin begitu bersemangat sehingga saya ingin menghubungi dan bersalaman dengan mereka. Close by to Taichung Railway Station, which is about 5 stops away from HSR Taichung. Good location if you’re taking the railway frequently. Room is abit squeezy but the toilet is spacious and clothes dry fast when you wash them here.

Stayed here 2 nights. It is a nice, modern, clean hostel with air conditioning, a modest kitchen and great location next to the train station. You can hear street traffic in the rooms but it’s not excessive. The hostel was very quiet due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions but staff was very helpful, attentive and spoke good English. Bathrooms have plenty of toilets and showers and space for drying your hair or applying make up. Breakfast is plentiful and nicely prepared. Good option to start the day. Walk to the Sun Moon Lake bus stop is 5-8 minutes just north of the hostel (staff can point you in that direction too). Washer and dryer are also available to guests and about 50 NTD each. Cheap! Hostel also has a small grocery store with dried foods and a fridge to store things if needed. Towels are not included which is a little bit of a bummer but not a deal breaker. My only two items as an FYI: your keycard has to be used in the bed for the power outlet which is problematic when you need to charge something and be in the restroom. And, the machine used to clean and purify the air in the rooms leaves a bad weird smell. It can alleviate a bit but not much. If you’re overly sensitive this will be a problem. I would still recommend this hostel and would stay again.

The location is perfect as it is located just opposite of Main Train Station. The location also nearby the most famous LGBT sauna. The pillow is comfortable and the shower room is spacious and clean.

已經第二次入住 交通非常方便 酒店後面就是公車站，也很近台中火車站 公車站也有公車到台中高鐵站和機場 附近有宮源眼科👍 值得推薦此酒店！

Booked this hotel as it has indoor playground facility but only the big slide for the bigger toddler was interesting while the play area for the younger ones was placed at the laundry area which felt warm and dated. The rooms are not exactly soundproof as we can hear doors opening and shutting. Breakfast was pretty disappointing, other than for the fact that it has plain porridge which we manage to feed my babies. But the complimentary minibar was generous with coke and isotonic drink. Lobby staff were friendly and helpful though, while the breakfast chef/staff looked unhappy throughout our stay.

The staff were friendly and check-in experience was good. I left my luggage a day before my stay and they safe keep for me in their office. I booked a double room and room size was big enough and cosy. No bottles of drink water in room but can get warm/cold water from dispense at common area. Breakfast, don't expect to get many varieties, but enough to fill your stomach. Although it said bf starts at 7am, when I was there at that time, staff still preparing. Location is just a short walk to fourth credit union, also 10mins to train station.

Terdapat tempat letak kereta yang bersambung, tetapi jika ia penuh, anda perlu mencari tempat letak kereta di tepi jalan sekitar atau tempat letak kereta persendirian. Bilik itu bersih dan kemas, dan tilamnya sederhana lembut dan padat, tidak begitu lembut sehingga orang akan tenggelam (tetapi separuh lagi masih merasakan katil bergegar apabila terbalik.) I booked a triple room for myself as I wanted a bigger room but was given a 4 ppl room with 2 double beds. Very helpful n efficient check in staff who did everything from checking n fixing the musty smell in my room n showing me how to take the buses. Great location w bus stops for local buses n buses to other cities right outside, n great local food just around the corner. There’s also a small outlet mall n Taichung park within 5 min walk. Very modern deco. Only downside is no fridge in room n no proper room makeup. Overall, great place!
