Looks exactly like advertised. Quite conveniently located, short walking distance to Xinbeitou MRT station and opposite Beitou garden which has the beautiful wooden structured library, and you can stroll all the way to the Thermal Valley. Room was quite large, pretty well maintained, but showing it's age and maybe needing some TLC. Breakfast was the high point of the stay, as we totally enjoyed the variety that was on offer. Service was pretty good as well, and staff was warm and friendly. The only issue we had was that the hot water from the sink and shower took quite some time to warm up, and the water pressure was almost non existent, so it took quite some time to shower or use the sink. Overall, recommended for its location, breakfast and the fact that there is a hot spring tub in each room.

飯店checkin時間很晚(7pm)，地點也較車站遠，這兩點以致他房價比較其他北投地區飯店還低的原因。但對於想要留宿泡湯的旅客，該飯店滿足最低需求。雖然是老舊飯店，但房間設施維持的狀況不錯而且整潔。浴缸大而深，白磺溫泉泡起來很舒服。這趟住的是經濟雙人房，床舖相當舒適軟硬適中，睡起來很舒服，可以說是我最滿意的地方。早餐簡單的中式早餐，稀飯饅頭陪醬菜等等，項目不多，但考量飯價便宜還是很划算，餐廳座位不多，週末旺季尖峰可能會客滿，建議早餐開始供應8AM盡早到。飯店交通有提供接駁車，但其實滿滿沿著散步也是可以輕鬆步及，周圍有萊爾富便利商店跟拉麵店。總結我還是很滿意此飯店，會推薦。

5 mins walk from MRT station. There is private hot spring and a steam room in room. The public hot spring is very nice and cosy. 5 mins walk to the stylish public library.

hotel food for breakfast is typical japanese style and the option is sufficient for small eater like me. Services from the butler is perfect and personalised. Facilities like Onsen bath and SPA and restaurants are also excellent (but come with a premium price though)

It located about 10 minutes walk from MRT. Check in took a while since there is only one staff. The room is not small. It is quiet. There is a big hot spring bathtub in the room. It took me some effort to get in and out of the bathtub. No chair, no step stool. Very interest good breakfast.

The room is supreme and comfortable when you need hot springs anytime. The location was far beyond the city or city. The view was excellent for photo taking for the background.

It is an old hotel. Yet, after the recent refurbishment, the conditions have been upgraded significantly. The bath keeps its old-fashioned style, which makes the bathing experience resonate with the local history, In a positive way. The service is very good. The water is strong; the hot spring is milky white. Some may complain about the smell in the rooms; however it is normal from the odor of the real local hot spring. The sound proof is, admittedly, not that good but acceptable. The thing I would feel negative is their breakfast. But it is elder and vegetarian friendly. And, come on, see the price and others. There is no roomfor complaint.
