WiFi connection is less stable. Room with old furnitures. Location is good. Price is affordable.

This hotel happened to have the fairest prices on a Saturday in the location we needed prior to our AM departure fom Taipei. (Front door almost beside elevator down to Zhongshan Mall/Railway station underground complex.) Trendy area, bistros and shops nearby. Several printed rules were presented to us at check in. Nice little elevator up to rooms - no need to take stairs. Room is smallish but okay, with a modern, clean washroom and a wall TV. However, the A/C is strong/noisy and seemed a bit hard to operate. Unfortunately, the bed was hard, and uncomfortable, (just as one often encounters in Mainland hotels). Room walls are a bit thin, as several rooms are packed together on each floor of this boutique hotel. That said, perfectly fine if staying a single night because of it's excellent location.🙂

This hotel is clean enough but still not too clean. The front desk took our key when we went out of the hotel, if u worry about ur luggage then this hotel I’m strongly not recommending. The AC was hot and hot water was not stable. The attitude of the front desk is kind of sucks so only if u r patient enough to handle the bad attitude then u can try it.

The location was very convenient and the people at the reception were super friendly & welcoming.

Overall everything is clean. I do think the location is what makes this place worth it.

Purple Garden is a nice quiet hotel in a good location near the main train station. The road outside is a long public space which is nice, and there are good places to eat nearby. Staff were helpful, and there's a drinking water dispenser as well as DIY laundry area on the top floor. Good value

The hotel is very close to the train stations - red and green lines. There is also Zhongshan underground mall nearby, small rooms yet if you are looking for a place just to sleep this one is a good option.

Location is excellent . Door lock is not secure if you do not apply the additional lock or latches when u close the door The kettle is dirty inside when I boil water. Lots of black particles. No toilet in the lobby as I arrive at 1.30pm to check in . 3pm is non negotiable. I can only go to the Train station toilet The aircon in the room is like a blower , both the sound and the wind . I did not sleep well at all The sound proof is unbelievable. I could hear next door , upstairs flashing and activities. Maybe I was unlucky pse qualify it with other comments. The location is superb and the price is reasonable. Would I pay another 30% more for a better Hotel. Yes I will. Good Luck. btw lift is only 3 pax

A bit old-fashioned in style but the location is great and central. Staff is nice and helpful, room was clean.

It will be better if provide shower amenities. Location near station however nearest exit isnt open.

The color of hotel quilts

The upstairs leak was making noise all night, and there was a camera flash in the room? After checking, I found that a light was broken and had been flashing all night. There was no one on duty after 10 pm, so I had no choice but to endure the night. There were too many problems, and I didn't even want to give it one star.

I'm very grateful to the hotel for allowing me to leave my luggage for a few days, which makes it easier for me to travel to other places. The hotel also provides free washing machines for guests; a dryer would have been even better. Oh 🤭 Sorry, I have too many requests!

It's pretty good. The elevators and other facilities might need some explanation, otherwise first-time visitors might not know what to expect.
