Ulasan Silken Hotel

This is a good value hotel in a quiet location of Taipei. There are plenty of shops and places to eat within walking distance and you also have access to public transport nearby. Hotel room was very big and extremely clean . I would definitely stay here again. One piece of advice ..check in is 3pm....and they mean 3pm!

Hotel provides good and sufficient amount of toiletries during your stay. However cleanliness is a 😩 here. Bedsheets, towels and floor of toilet are dirty. Mats are black. Location is 10-15 mins walk away from MRT but convenient with multiple convenient stores around. Service wise is okay - a few people especially in the morning with the lady and the tall man are quite rude. There are many hotels nearby this hotel but this hotel is a buzzling one. Sound instillation is not good, neighbours could be heard. Recommended for solo travellers for it’s price but not for couples 🤷🏻♀️

Very happy with my stay here. My room was quiet, comfortable, washroom facility was very good, and Internet hovered at around 45-60Mbps if I recall. RJ45 jacks worked fine! Good value for money, clean and safe! Metro is about 8 min walk away and 20 mins ride to 101 area. Front desk was helpful and accommodating (Helen and Ray). Will stay here again.

I must say you get much more than what you expect for the price of this hotel. Not much in the way of amenities but what can you expect for that price. I enjoyed the stay. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. I will use them again if I come back to Taipei.

I had a fantastic stay at Silken Hotel. The check-in and check-out procedure were easy. Staff were extremely polite. The lobby was always stocked with free snacks and a coffee machine. For New Year's Eve, they left a gift in every room. The lobby looked a bit old, but the rooms had clearly been redecorated recently and were comfortable and clean, although a bit dark. The location was a bit out of the way, but it was about 500 m from the nearest metro station, and it was easy to get a taxi or an Uber. I would definitely recommend a stay here. This is a comfortable and cheap stay if you are planning on being out and about most of the time.

The front desk staff are polite. The free coffee and snacks provided is a plus.

Excellent mostly. There are snacks and even a coffee dispenser at the lobby. EVeryThinG works well.

The location is ok, a few minutes to a metro station by foot. Pretty close to Linsen Road. The room is small but it does comes with a bathtub and safe.

Quite area and near to parks. Abt 7 mins on foot from the nearest subway station. Room has window but no view should be expected.

Overall the hotel very old n have a kind of smells once you step into the hotel lobby. Surrounded areas r quite dirty too, not so convenience access to public transport and very quiet during night time if you choose to walk back from subway station.

Not bad. Got a small tub. Some free snacks and coffee.

The hotel is close to station with less than 10 minutes walkable distance.
