I had a wonderful stay at The Riviera Hotel Taipei. The location is perfect—close to local dining, temples, parks, and shopping. Catching an Uber from here is very convenient. The room was clean and fully equipped (iron, kettle, hair dryer). The bathroom was amazing, featuring a shower with perfect pressure and a comfortable heated automatic toilet. Breakfast was delicious and diverse; I stayed for 5 days and enjoyed every meal. The staff, from the waiters to the receptionists, were professional and efficient. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return!

Location is the best at linsen north road! Acceptable quality and services. Not much amenities. Enough for business travellers.

Room is big. Ventilation is efficient in controlling the humidity in Taipei.

Just okay, not so bad but not that good the staff not friendly enough to fit as 4 stars hotel.

The experience was in general, pleasant, plenty of places around to walk, parks, like the Muji Muji area. Staff was super friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious. However the pictures of the rooftop garden are not as faithful, and I wish there was something there to do besides a gym. Maybe a place to have drinks and a meal?

Excellent location,excellent service and a wonderful breakfast! Only issue was the room was too cold due to the air conditioning not having correct temperature adjustments.

I really enjoyed this hotel! Staff was excellent, really warm and professional. The room was lovely. It was retro, but the amenities were top-notch. The bed was amazingly comfortable! I loved that there was a bidet with the toilet and also all the little things like the clothes line, and the yoga mat provided. It was on a major street near a lot of wonderful tourist areas.

We had a good stay at the Riviera Hotel Taipei. The hotel is clean and our room was spacious. The staff were friendly and always helpful. The breakfast was good. The property is walking distance to bus stops, metro station and convenient stores are nearby. Will definitely stay again for future trips.

The Riviera Taipei is charming hotel in the heart of the bustling Linsen North Road area of Taipei. Entering the hotel, you are transported to the French Riviera. While built in 1993 and last refurbished in 2013, the hotel still has all the modern comforts expected of modern hotels. I booked the Premium Executive double room and it is huge, at 41.5m2. The room comes with a separate living room area with another tv and sofa set. Positives: - lovely decor (both in room and hotel in general) - complimentary snacks in room - sound insulation was good (room faced the main road but could not hear the cars) - complimentary coffee and tea during breakfast hours - Good breakfast buffet spread that changes the two breakfasts I had - Other lovely features of the hotel includes the rooftop garden which allows you a view of the surrounding area including the iconic Grand Hotel as well as planes taking off and landing at the nearby Songshan airport Negatives: - toilet is small but functional - aircon was a little weak ( but could just be my room) - mattress not the best (could feel the coils)

I booked 2nights in premium Executive suit for my wedding. The room is very spacious. It just bother me why there is a door inside. It makes me feel uncomfortable.
