Hotel di Songshan Station, Taipei

My wife and I recently stayed at the Amba Taipei Songshan hotel. We had a good time. Upon our arrival we entered with a lot of luggage because from Taipei we would be flying on to the Philippines for a long stay. Thankfully the very nice security guard on the ground floor offered to contact the upstairs front desk and moments later we were helped with our luggage by the very kind Michael Mao. He went beyond the call of duty in giving us personal help with our luggage and allowing us to check in earlier than usual. My wife was surprised by how large the room was and so was I. Very comfortable setup. We didn’t have a view of Taipei 101 but the other side of the building is nice as well. The only problem was that all three days of our stay, the weather was very gloomy with occasional rain. Thanks to Michael for helping with food suggestions, shopping info for my wife and great instructions on how to access the Hop On Hop Off, etc. Unfortunately, we ended up not using the Hop On/Off bus because the schedule is really not great for tourist. Availability of the bus isn’t good. Michael explained that this was mostly due to those Covid years. Perhaps in the future the Hop On/Off will be back to normal as I think most tourist around the world are used to taking advantage of it just to get a quick view of the entire city. I will say that the best form of travel around the city is definitely the subway, which is probably the easiest to use in the world. Its super clean and convenient. Also, as great as the Amba Taipei Songshan hotel is, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention something that others have made mention of and that is the breakfast. Unfortunately, its not a great selection and not very flavorful. I’m one of those people who never adds salt to my food once its cooked. With this breakfast, I was shaking the salt shaker constantly. Also, I think employees/chefs should be encouraged and allowed to be a little more improvisational, if you will. I witnessed several times where someone asked if their eggs could be cooked “sunny side up” but the chef only pointed to the sign with two choices, scrambled or omelette. Sunny side up is not hard to do and probably takes less time to make than an omelette. Also, there’s a sign that says pancakes but in front of this sign is a plate filled with waffles. I assumed that you had to ask for pancakes so when I did, the chef pointed at the waffles. That sign should be changed to waffles only or offer both, which in my opinion would be the better option. Pancakes and Waffles. The area where breakfast is served is very nice and spacious. They should really try harder to make the breakfast just as exceptional. Beyond that, I still very much recommend this hotel as a number one option. Its a great location, the city link is right across the street and the Raohe night market is not far away at all. Really nice relaxed vibe and a very safe area to walk around and explore. 😁. Thank you for a nice stay…

Persekitarannya cantik. Lokasi bas ulang-alik tidak jelas. Ia bersebelahan dengan bas. Ia adalah pondok bas kecil. Kolam renang adalah jarak tertentu dari tempat penginapan. Tiada laluan pejalan kaki yang jelas dan bahaya berkongsi dengan kereta. Ia adalah kawasan renang yang lebih profesional. Orang yang tidak boleh berenang boleh meminjam pelampung tetapi tidak boleh. Sayang sekali menggunakan cincin renang. Terdapat diskaun untuk penginapan dan lawatan berpandu. Jika penginapan termasuk lawatan atau harga lebih rendah, jejak rahsia yang lebih baik adalah perjalanan sekali sahaja. Grand Hotel selesa dan boleh dikunjungi lagi. Stik Grand Mountain sedap.

Caesar Park Taipei is an excellent choice for travelers seeking a central location and convenience. Situated right across from Taipei Main Station, it offers easy access to public transportation, making it ideal for exploring the city. The rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with comfortable amenities, though some areas might feel slightly dated. The hotel features helpful staff, a variety of dining options, and a relaxing rooftop garden. While the breakfast buffet offers a decent range of choices, it may lack variety for longer stays. Overall, Caesar Park Taipei provides great value for its location and services, making it a reliable option for both business and leisure travelers.

Great location just in front of Ximending. Hotel space reasonable for the price paid. Variety of food for breakfast. One drawback is no heater in room make us need to turn off air conditioner as visited in winter time.

The train station is beside hotel,very convenient. There is convenience shop nearby also. The room is consider big! We booked a room for 3 pax, there is still large space for us to walk and put luggage. The shower and toilet bowl area is separated, so when you use toilet bowl area it is dry. A very nice design. The vanity area to dress up is very large also. Love the big space that given. Great thing about this hotel, it has Starbucks in their building! I will definitely recommend my friends & family to stay here.

Hotel besar, banyak bilik, bersih  Bilik tidak mempunyai tingkap, menyebabkan cahaya tidak keluar pada waktu pagi.  Sekitar penginapan bersama rakan-rakan Tiada bunyi, senyap. Daftar masuk adalah pada pukul 3 petang. (Daftar masuk sendiri di kaunter penerimaan tetamu) Kalau nak masuk bilik dulu, kena bayar NT$200.  Secara keseluruhan, berehat dengan selesa.

If you have a car don’t book here . So hard to get in . If you come, which is a small backpack or a small luggage, then it’s fine. Middle of Shilin night market but because it’s middle so no car can get in from market started . Street is small surrounded by ppl, bikes and things / can’t get in anyway. make sure you contact hotel in advance to get the passcode. Otherwise, you will get stuck outside. The room I got was fine, but I’m not sure it will be the same every rooms.  has no window, but everything was new.

Lokasi yang baik dengan beberapa tempat makanan yang lazat berdekatan, banyak kedai serbaneka. Tempat itu sendiri tenang dan bersih. Langsir yang baik di sekeliling katil dan bilik mandi yang bersih dan luas. Penginapan yang damai, sangat disyorkan.

Very convenient location with good amenities and restaurant nearby. Xiaonanmeng Mrt station within 8-10mins walk to hotel. 1 station away from Ximending and Chang Kai Sek Memorial Hall. McDonald's and Decathlon opposite hotel. Service staff are very polite and attentive. Special mention to Ms Vivien who was seen attending to guests at morning buffet breakfast and serving food when the serving staff were occupied.

The best hotel, great location, and near the train station. There's a lot of restaurants and shops around the area since it's located exactly at Ximending. A great place to stay with affordable rates, a clean room, and free coffee vouchers 🥰 I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you. Pam & Reg ❤️
