Originally booked for two nights. However in the morning on the second day, a hotel staff suddenly informed me that they were fully booked and I could not be accommodated anymore, but everything was under confirmed status according to my booking. I was trying to argue with the guy, unfortunately he doesn’t speak English. So I contacted Trip.com service team. After a complicated process of communication, I had to check out and looked for a new hotel instead, compensation was granted. Thanks to the service agent, she did really hard to assist me all the way when I was in a big trouble. Credit was given to the service agent, not to the hotel.

The Navruz Hotel is in a great location on a side street but close to metro and a few restaurants (can recommend Siesta restaurant!). Rooms are on the small side but have everything you need including kettle, fridge, bottled water, blackout curtains, toiletries, hairdryer. Beds are large and comfortable with lovely bed linen. Bathroom of the room we stayed in was small with shower cubicle only, no bath, but was clean and modern with good water pressure. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool after a hard day's sightseeing and I particularly enjoyed having a cappuccino or two at breakfast. The young male receptionist (sorry I didn't get his name but he seemed to work 24/7) spoke excellent English and was helpful and efficient.

Durdana is a very helpful lady, she made sure that I’m very comfortable. She also gave me advices about where to go and what to eat. The hotel is clean and very comfortable and noise free. They have a decent breakfast and the employees are all looking forward making the customers comfortable too.

The hotel is very nice and modern, but it stumbled in a few areas. In our bedroom there were some shortfalls like: The toilet didn't flush properly. The power point for the kettle didn't work. One of the chairs was almost broken. There is obviously a breakdown in communication.

You stay here for the experience not the quality of the hotel! This place is kitsch and a wonderful relic of the cold War! Stayed here twice as part of a group tour and was charmed by the haphazard nature of the place! Reception is a vast space with plenty of seating and a bar at one end. You can get cold beer here that you can take away to your room. Both rooms we had were large with twin beds at one end and a loungue type area at the other. The major bonus was we had a balcony each time; great views from the higher floors and a good place to hang out some washing! The first room the balcony was accessible from two doors, the second room had one door blocked with a chest of drawers and the handle removed! Bathrooms are a bit dated and you sometimes have to wait for hot water! Not all rooms have balconies so you might need to request. The money exchange was really useful, although they wouldn't change local currency back again. The rooftop bar is actually the top floor as opposed to on the roof but the windows open in and you get great city views. Breakfast buffet is excellent, especially the omlette chef! Location of the hotel is also strong, metro just to right of entrance and lots of attractions, bars and restaurants in walking distance. A couple of reviews say Reception staff don't speak great English - you can get round this with Google translate so not a big deal. We also had two people on our two given each others passports - the onus is definitely on you to check!If you don't mind quirky this hotel is for you!

It is functional accommodation with a central location walkable to the metro, and amir square right behind the hotel Uzbekistan. Pros: 1. Smooth check-in 2. Rooms are small but functional 3. it is an old property but functional in a good manner 4. Helpful staff, Reception will help to book Yandex taxi 5. Large and decorative lobby with ample seating 6. Recommended if budget is a concern - MId segment 7. Breakfast - Nice one with clear demarcation of VEg and non Veg items 8. In-house Indian restaurant - ”Rajkapur” 9. Lots of parking and located on the main road - Easy to access by walking or taxi or public transport Cons: 1. Nothing since we consider it to be a basic but functional and clean premise for a couple of nights We stayed one night and it worked for us, we may return for short stay again

Номера уютные, персонал вежливый, расположение можно считать как центр города, большой телевизор (не включала вообще поэтому сколько каналов есть не знаю), кровать двуспальная, удобная, есть уголок кухни со всей основной посудой, микроволновка, холодильник, сейф имеются. Завтрак приносят в номер (по крайней мере сейчас, иногда с опозданием). Заполняете вечером или ночью анкету на завтрак, указываете время (с 7 до 10 вроде можно). Персонал добрый, вежливый, в основном говорят на русском, за исключением некоторых хаускиперов. Ночью сну ничего не мешает, рядом нет шумных заведений. Есть контролируемый кондер, для жары Ташкента самое то. В душе можете включить музыку, убираются в номерах каждый день, постельное белье и полотенца вроде меняют 5-7 дней 1 раз, но думаю что если попросить они не откажут. Я просила и просьбу выполнили сразу.
