We spent one night here. Room was large, clean and adequate for our needs. The design of the room / bath is a bit different..might say contemporary. It was quiet. Parking is limited near rooms but plenty of spaces in back of one building. There was a small kitchenette with refrigerator, coffee/tea fixings and toaster, dishes, etc., large jacuzzi tub (didn’t use) and separate shower. Our room didn’t have extra toilet tissue, the roll on the holder was a bit 1/3 full, which is fine, but needed an extra. No breakfast available, but you can make your own if you have items. We made toast and coffee in our unit.

Great accommodation and staff amazing. Very accommodating and friendly. We were that comfortable we booked a second night to stay. Highly recommend checking this place out of you want politeness, comfort and close to shops. Thank you for looking after us will definitely be back!

Driving down to Wellington from Bay of Islands, An hour out of Taupō searched for a room for the night online, Booking.com. This place came up with rooms w shared ablutions, communal kitchen, very very reasonable less than$100 cheapest in town, our kind of place. We wanted our own ensuite, so chose a Superior Room, was $90 than was reduced to $83. Our expectations were not high, not for that price. Wow we were actually blown away, expectations exceeded. Great room, friendly staff, clean, spacious and a balcony and view of the Lake if you lean, awesomr👏🏼👍🏼🙏

Fabulous 👌 will definitely come again! Stayed 5 nights in a one bedroom unit over new year period. Big master with super king bed & huge tv with netflix, sky etc. Great bed and linen. Teenagers slept in lounge, bed each and another huge tv. Mini kitchen had everything you needed if you want to cook. Huge bathroom with great shower and big bath, great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Fantastic location and very quiet rooms. Super clean (keep up the good work cleaners!). Very short walk to shops, restaurants and the lake. Serviced each day which was a real treat. Congrats to Ron (& the team) for running a great motor lodge to high standards. Highly recommend 👍

Location is very near to beach, easily accessibility of market. All types of restaurants are very near. Government run iCentre is on walking distance. Full value if tarif paid for one night. In my view if you are visiting this tapo then this location would be really good for kids also.

The accommodation location is great as right in front of the lake, however the rooms and amenities are old. The cutleries were not cleaned properly. No coat hangers and had put outerwear on the chairs or couch. The price was cheaper than other waterfront accommodations but I would not consider to stay again.

Beautiful rooms overlooking the lake. Plenty of space and large balcony to sit and enjoy the view. Location was excellent just far enough out of town to be quiet but close enough to walk in along a walkway. Staff were extremely friendly. Room was clean with lovely quality bedding Dinner in the on site restaurant was really good and with a great view of the lake. Breakfast was fairly basic but sufficient and of a good quality. We would definitely stay again when in this area highly recommended

We stayed at the Acapulco Motor Inn while we were in Taupo for a wedding. The staff were friendly and helpful with great local knowledge. We were pleasantly surprised with our room, decadent toiletries, a huge spa bath, lovely robes and slippers and a selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. Breakfast is also available at an extra price and a large farmer's market is held across the road each Sunday morning. We are already planning our next stay at the Acapulco Motor Inn, this time we'll be bringing our children too.

Dont know where to start, Room was clean, wanderfull service, fast internet, amazing ambiance and surrounding, just a 10 minutes walk away from the lake and 13 to town. If your coming during winter, you dont have to worry about chills cuz the rooms has wanderfull heater. Washer and dryer in room worked well and was clean. But what stood out more then anything were the incredible Staffs. They were really polite and helpful. Rooms was surprisingly big and the bed was really comfortable and clean. Stuck in the room on a rainy day? Why worry, the options for TV channels was just too many, Aircond and heater worked just amazingly well. Can't emphasise enought how clean the room was from the kitchen to bedroom to bathroom. It was just very satisfiying to stay here. Check in and out was just so easy, can't fault anything from there. Since im in this topic, its such an affordable and reasonable place to stay in as well. Had the most fastastic stay at Quest Taupo. Definitely cant wait to be back. Super happy with the stay !!
