Alexandra Golden Boutique Hotel-Adults Only

This is a first class hotel in an excellent location. It has great facilities and room options and the food is of a high standard. Best of all is the staff. Everyone is friendly, attentive and professional. I highly recommend this hotel. There is one reason I would not recommend it and that is I would not like it to become too popular

We had a wonderful time at the Alexandra Golden Boutique Hotel, the staff were so helpful and friendly and the accommodation was very luxurious with our very own private swimming pool. Accommodation was cleaned daily with clean beach towels, shampoo, condition shower gel etc.

After a fabulous review from my Daughter who went to this hotel last year, my husband and I plus two couples we know decided to book. We were all celebrating a special occasion birthdays/anniversaries and even a marriage/honeymoon. We booked bed and breakfast as I never book all inclusive when in Europe as like to get out and explore different places to eat. The hotel itself did not disappoint. Beautiful rooms and fabulous service. Our rooms were perfect, the duplex room with a beautiful and super comfy round bed and own private pool to take a dip in… really lovely. The staff are super helpful and friendly here and really couldn’t fault anything at the hotel. Loved the main pool and loved the Duck who we loved to watch everyday. The beach here is absolutely gorgeous and everyday we enjoyed the soft sand, beautiful clear water and pressing the bell to get drinks/snacks to our beds. It is very quiet in the evenings so we did enjoy going out along the beachfront to explore all the fabulous nearby restaurants and tavernas. We also had a couple of fabulously tasty lunches just in our room thanks to room service. All in all we loved it at this hotel, a lovely chilled out tranquil beautiful hotel that we would definitely come back to… Special thank you to Anastasios Alvanos for making our special occasions extra special

Just come back from a week at Alexandra Golden, glad it was only 1 week not 2 . This hotel is no way near a 5star. The main pool is a complete waste of time as there are no loungers and the pool is occupied by a duck !. It is a very cute duck, but it does mean the pool is also the ducks toilet. The food, of which there is little choice, is luke warm, bland, and repetitive. Although one day there was glazed carrots for breakfast, went well with the cold porridge ! The beach is fine although dose not get combed or cleaned, so you do have to share it with the many cigarette butts. The gardens are in need of a bit of TLC as there are many dead or dying plants and bushes. There is absolutely nothing to do in the evening, no entertainment and the local area is very run down. Sitting at the small bar area in the evening was not possible because of all the smokers, so most nights it was back to the room by 8 o'clock The rooms are of a good standard and kept very clean. The staff are excellent and the service is very good . All in all it is a good 3star but comes with a 5star price tag

Wonderful staff. Great beach. Spacious rooms. No complaints with the food. I would definitely go here again as we were treated so good for 2 weeks. The shower was so hot and powerful when in over hotels its a trickle I would definitely recommend this hotel

Just lovely. We have been to Alexandra Boutique a number of times and have never been disappointed. The hotel is spotless and well worth their star rating. Great location and right on the beach. The only improvement could be to utilise more the Dunes Bar as it lacked a proper menu and was always empty of people. That in no way impacted on what was a great holiday of 14 days. The staff were amazing and so friendly and helpful. From the Housekeeping section (Room 605) who were one of the best we have ever had, through to the bar manager and his staff, they were all brilliant I was struggling to find my football team's game on TV and the Bar manager found it on the Monday night and apologised because it would be in Greek!! Great moment and typical of the place. The Reception team (and especially Nena) from minute one were considerate and very professional. Thank you! And of course there was Christos, the Maitre De, who made breakfast such a great experience and runs a very professional ship. A real asset to the hotel. Look forward to when we return once again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Alexandra Golden Boutique! With only 79 rooms, this charming adult-only hotel offers a peaceful and intimate atmosphere. Our Junior Suite with a Sharing Pool and sea view was recently renovated to a high standard and was quite spacious. We loved the terrace with its double sunbed, perfect for relaxing in the sun! The pool was a good size, although it wasn’t heated, so the September water felt a bit cool despite the pleasant 25°C weather. We opted for the all-inclusive package, which had a great selection of drinks, from wine to spirits, and we enjoyed having them served right on the beach. The food was delicious and varied daily, keeping our dining experience exciting. Last but not least, the staff were incredibly professional and genuinely lovely, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We have just returned from the Alexander, after a very long boring week. We had a private pool room, which the room was clean and lovely but the pool was freezing and couldn’t be used, it had a mini bar which was part of the all inclusive although when there are two of you why supply only one orange 🍊 juice and one piece of chocolate 🍫 wafer. Is beyond me. The food was ok, the soup tasted the same every evening, became boring being Al a carte every night. Be aware when ordering the fish and chips as it’s crisps not fries as we would expect. Pork several nights and when you don’t eat pork it becomes difficult. Not everything is included in the all inclusive package, asked for a burger 🍔 one day from the beach menu and it wasn’t included in the package, burgers are one of the cheapest options and it’s not included. Why? No evening entertainment , ( except they did have two singer one night and put music on in the background on Friday) thought it made a change to the boring atmosphere normally on offer. The worse part was no designated smoking area . Therefore smokes stand by the one bar area and smoke comes into the reception area and it’s unbearable at times, comes to something when you have to go to your room at 8pm due to no atmosphere and smokers. Beach has plenty of loungers and umbrellas, the young girls have a huge responsibility moving people on that aren’t staying at the hotel, maybe a sign or something indicating it’s a private area, and maybe stop people and children using the hotel toilets ( it’s adult only hotel) that are not staying in the hotel . The staff make this hotel, the beach girls do amazing job. The bar staff in reception brilliant and extremely friendly, she will make a fantastic hotel manager. Would we return NO . It’s ok if you want a very relaxing holiday, with no atmosphere, and limited food options. Spoke to a number of people during our weeks stay and only one couple said they would return. Not sure how it has 5* really as it’s lacking in a few areas . And 5* on Tripadvisor is not accurate in our experience.

Everything was great the staff, the location, the beach, the size of the rooms, housekeeping. The breakfast buffet had a great choice of food and healthy snacks and fruits and vegetables. We had a nice patio with a table, deck chairs in a small pool to cool down. Within a short walk we had access to many great restaurants. The the hotel restaurant was also great with reasonable prices and you could ask for fresh fish the day before if you felt like it. The room itself had a great big bathtub with a rain shower; the only thing we would suggest is having a bar to hold on when stepping inside the bathtub which is pretty deep, and a removable shower head. We were three couples, stayed for 5 days, had great weather and would definitely recommend it and come back again.
