Beautiful facility, all staff was very pleasant. Andrew the tram driver was very friendly to us and helpful, always waving and smiling at us an others. Loved the dining choices. All food fabulous.

The resort was all that we expected and more! Staff is very friendly and treats guests in the most welcoming way. At all times, they are fastidious about service and helping you enjoy the experience and take in the marvelous scenery. The hotel is located in a semi-remote area, with only a few restaurants near by, nevertheless you will not want to leave the resort as it is so beautiful and has enough choices for dining on the property. As expected, prices are high but I felt the experience was worth. On our last day there were may children and families which made it a bit loud at the pool, but there is an adult pool option that was much quieter. I highly recommend it and will look for more Auberge Resorts in the future!

My husband and I love the Hualalai Resort. We stayed 5 nights in a Deluxe a one-bedroom on the ground floor in the Beach Crescent. This is a luxury resort but still relaxed and unpretentious. Beach Tree Crescent Pool: The pool attendants are attentive, the ice water is replenished regularly without being prompted, and the food/beverage service is prompt. Always plenty of chairs available regardless of arrival time. The majority of the cabanas are first come first serve, and a few are reserved for the Villas. We noticed these get full almost immediately because guests do the ”wake up early and leave a personal item on the chair to reserve and leave for hours” method. They have policies against this method and will gladly remove items for you if the cabana is left empty with no guests in sight for over 15 minutes. We did not spend much time in the other pools, but when we did, all service was similar to the Beach Tree. Beaches: I love the sheltered snorkel area in front of the hotel. It's nice to go snorkeling alone and not worry about being swept out to sea. This was our second visit to the Hualalai and we found the service exemplary just like our first visit. This is the type of place where ”no” is not in the staff's vocabulary. Within reason, anything you need will be accommodated. It's expensive but the value lies within the service, the beautiful grounds, the plentiful food options etc... We will most definitely return. Tip: If traveling during whale season, keep your eyes peeled on the ocean. It is not uncommon to see whales breaching in the distance. We saw them almost daily as we enjoyed breakfast at the Ulu buffet.

Kristy, the pre-arrival ambassador, is the reason our stay was so memorable! She had emailed me prior to our stay to ask if I had any requests. I mentioned my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. I also mentioned that we were staying 3 nights total. The first 2 nights were under my name and the last night under my wife's name due to a free night award that she had in her Marriott Bonvoy account. I have Platinum elite status and one of the perks is complimentary breakfast for 2 each morning. I asked if she could extend the breakfast benefit to the 3rd night under my wife's name. She had no problem doing that even though Bonvoy rules say the hotel is not required to do that. I had also asked Kristy if we could stay in the same room for all 3 nights. I had been upgraded to a Na Hale wing room for the 2 nights under my name due to Suite Night Awards that I used. Kristy was able to get us to stay in the same upgraded room for the 3rd night under my wife's name for no additional charge. That was really nice. She went above and beyond. At check-in I was surprised that Kristy personally met my wife and I and walked us to our room. She also provided us with some cookies as a gift for our anniversary. She seems to care about her job and is the reason I'm writing this review. The 2nd floor room we had in the Na Hale wing was very nice. The Na Hale wing is a separate small building closer to the ocean with 14 rooms The bathroom was huge with 2 sinks and a LARGE walk in shower. We had a balcony looking at the fish pond and ocean. It was beautiful! Be aware that there is no elevator in the Na Hale wing, but that was not an issue for us. We ate the continental breakfast buffet each morning which was included for being a Platinum Bonvoy member. There was a $12/person upcharge for the full breakfast, but the continental breakfast was more than sufficient. The continental breakfast had fruits, breads, and pastries. It even included hot items such as waffles, pancakes, and one meat. BE AWARE that the breakfast area is outdoors and the birds are not afraid of people. They will fly on your table and eat your food if you aren't careful. Don't leave the table unattended with food on it. The downside to everything is the $30 resort fee. I absolutely hate resort fees and find them to be an easy way for hotels to get extra revenue. It did include a list of things including daily activities and 2 drinks. I knew of the resort fee beforehand, so it was no surprise. Overall a great stay and we would come back. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Kona on our 4th night and it wasn't comparable. The Waikoloa Beach location of the Marriott is much better than being in Kona.

酒店環境極好。背靠山，面朝大海。配套有網球場和高爾夫球場都是無敵海景。餐廳全部面海，風景怡人。 酒店是內部開放式結構，四面有景。庭院裝修東方風格。 訂的海濱房，可看巨浪拍岸，日出日落都可在陽台上欣賞。房間裝修設施都很棒。就是面積略小。 自助早餐價格不便宜，但品質很好。 酒店禮賓部有很多活動預訂，但是第一次到大島，基本在外面看景點，徒步。沒有參加，很遺憾。第一次看到酒店的運動單車就在面朝大海的大廳裏 這是一個非常完美的五星度假酒店。尤其適合泡酒店，打高爾夫，網球，參加各種出海運動。

We loved every aspect about the hotel. It was well appointed. The rooms were amazing. The service was great. The sister property was a nice bonus. The beach was awesome and not a piece of plastic was seen on the beach or in the ocean. The check-in experience was pleasantly memorable with leis and welcome beverage. The reuseable water bottle may be the best gift I have received ever. We will be back and hopefully stay longer and more often.
