Diamonds Thudufushi Maldives Resort & SPA

We've been to several resorts in the Maldives and this is certainly our best choice. Beautiful location, excellent accommodation (I recommend the water villas). Two excellent restaurants with daily changing menus. Beach activities and reef snorkeling excellent. The staff in all departments could not have been more helpful. A lovely relaxing 10 day break - and we were really lucky with the weather. Steve P . UK

Paradise in earth! The island is amazing and the resort superlative! The coral reef is close to the beach … easy to reach and it surprises everytime with coral, colours and fishes. We also saw turtles, Dolphins, mantas…just amazing! The staff then is amazing…always available to make the vacation more and more comfortable. A special thanks to all the staff / chef of the restaurant. The food…simply amazing … and tasty! A piace to be at least once in a life!!!

What a trip. We spent 6 days on Thudufushi in November 2024 celebrating our engagement. From the moment we landed in Male and were taken to the sea plane terminal we were greeted with nothing but the best hospitality. The island itself was amazing. The staff were all super helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our trip was fantastic. We did the snorkelling excursion and sunset fishing which were both great. Would highly recommend the aquarium snorkelling excursion. The over water bungalows were great as provided privacy and we had our own private balcony. But the beach bungalows were equally wonderful. The food was awesome! We ate at both the over water restaurant and standard buffet restaurant and thought the food was just as good at both restaurants. The house reef was amazing. We have been fortunate to travel to the Maldives multiple times but feel Thudufushis house reef was the best we have seen yet. There was turtles and plenty of reef sharks to be seen whilst snorkelling as well as plenty of reef fish. Each snorkel of the different parts of the island was different with more things to see each time. The work the marine biologists are also doing on the island to help regrow and support the reef was admirable and nice to see hopefully some of our money from the trip being spent in this way, so future visitors for years to come can explore this wonderful island and all it had to offer. Big shout out to Olivia and Shady who were always very accommodating and helped make our trip so special !! We have already recommended our friends and family visit soon!

I had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at the Diamond. The staff were so hospitable, kind and helpful. You are first greeted by Gabrielle with his big smile. He was so excited and he made you feel like a long lost friend. The staff in the restaurant remembered your favorite drink and all seemed to remember my name. The food was delicious at both restaurants. I must acknowledge the buggy driver he was always there for me!! When I left Gabrielle was there and to see me off. I would like to mention to the management that the whole team at Diamond were the friendliest and most extremely professional group I have come in to contact with while traveling the world and staying at resorts. I have visited the Maldives 5 times, this was my first visit to Thudufushi it definitely won't be my last. The island is beautiful with amazing snorkeling the effort the island has put into regenerating the reef is paying off lots of live corals alot more than any of the other islands I have visited. The water villas are spacious and really comfortable offering privacy and a large private deck. The food was fantastic but what really makes the island special is it's fantastic staff. From the roomboys to the bar staff, Lavin and his golf buggy always around to ensure you have everything you need and more. A special mention to Amil, Saffi and Say from the water villa restaurant truely amazing service, I injured my shoulder before I arrived Say noticed this and prepared ice packs morning noon and night to ease the pain he also gave my some cream he uses when his shoulder is sore above and beyond service that made our holiday even more special. Thank you Thudufushi I could not have wished for more.

This was the perfect vacation for our family! Our beach villa was large and comfortable and the outside bathroom was just amazing. Because it always feel warm, having a shower outside was the best. There was enough for our kids to do and we could wind down and relax as well. We never got tired of the food as they had a wide variety to choose from. The fresh fish and sushi was a highlight. The staff was friendly and so helpful. Special thank you to Carla and Jaco for your hospitality. This was a truly amazing experience and we hope to return one day!
