We went with two couples for one night on our Salta travels, and Las Marias is a great option in Tilcara. We were one of the premium suites which was huge with a massive balcony. The hotel pool was sadly too cold to use, but we sat outside for a while, and they were lovely in bringing us water to the chairs. Breakfast was sadly a little poor - not a lot of options, but Tilcara is a lovely little town, with possibly the best restaurant (Prospect Neuvo) in the entire country - a recommendation from reception.

It is a superb hotel run by excellent people. Everyone is so gentle and helpful. The rooms are outstanding, the small spa is beautiful and relaxing and the massage was also fantastic. My wife had forgotten her swimsuit at the hotel and the hotel did everything it could to get it to us while we were still on vacation in Argentina. We would have liked to have stayed longer and are already looking forward to coming back. You pay a three-star price for a five-star service.

The perfect place to be when visiting the Province, A very welcoming hotel, lovely rooms with lots of space, big bathroom and a lovely patio to sit and relax, no noise whatsoever. A swimming pool where you can enjoy the fresh water after a long day of exploring the surroundings. The staff is amazing, breakfast exceptional and dinner was fantastic. We were here on Christmas eve and the staff decorated the buffet with homemade sweets and cakes and at midnight we all drank a glass of sparkling wine with the staff. This boutique hotel is just what you need when travelling through Argentina. Thank you all for the wonderful 4 days.

A boutique hotel on a great setting, within a short walking distance to the town center and beautiful views of the hills. Great service, extremely knowledgeable receptionists on sightseeing and best ways to get there. the place is pretty new, the rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. breakfast is included. One of the best places in Tilcara.

Very nice boutique hotel. Quiet, peaceful, serene atmosphere. Spacious, well appointed rooms with beautiful bathrooms. Nice mountain view. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Highly recommended.

Nice big rooms & nice comfortable public areas. The location is ideal-a couple of blocks from the bustling town square & the road to the bus station. There are signs to the hotel but the road is uneven & I heard guests having difficulties finding the hotel Staff were friendly . Our room was nice with a door opening to a covered area with chairs & direct access to a small-ish pool The room & bathroom were very large & comfortable but it was a bit difficult to control the temperature- the radiator was on early evening & wouldn't turn off. The fridge was very noisy so I unplugged it The restaurant was OK & the food was good value. A bit inflexible in that you are asked to book your time for breakfast (buffet) as well as dinner although there were plenty of tables. Dinner service was a bit too slow but friendly Our dinner was nice enough & I felt they tried to offer slightly different options to elsewhere but I could see another table sending back dishes I could imagine this is best in town but it's not quite peefect

Very difficult to find along the small back dirt roads of Tilcara but once found,high up, the hotel was lovely. The receptionist was exceptional and spoke good English and check in was easy. The room was well appointed with a great view and balcony with two deck chairs. Unfortunately the local dogs and chickens didn't realize we were tired and the soundproofing was not very good. The bed, again, was on the firm side but the main concerns were with the quality of the food and service in the restaurant, which unfortunately we found to be quite poor. The dinner was almost inedible and breakfast, whilst ok, was a very lonely affair as once again service was poor. We would have given this a three star rating but for the excellent and helpful receptionist!

We were immediately charmed by Las Marias. It is a spacious new build estate and tastefully designed. There is a spa and outdoor swimming pool, I did not use either but they looked impressive. The hotel also has a secure car park and provide you with a key for entry and exit. The rooms were very spacious with huge bathrooms. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable. Our sleep was disrupted by wild dogs barking and cockerels crowing in the early hours. This is by no means the fault of the hotel, it is a trait of rural life that would affect any hotel in Tilcara. The staff at Las Marias were extremely helpful and spoke English well. We had a memorable stay at Las Marias and highly recommend it. I would also recommend Tilcara above the other towns in the area, it is a charming place with some excellent bars and restaurants. It really comes into its own after dark.

Artful architecture, beautifully sited, with very ample rooms...and lovely walking spaces and public areas. Multi-level on a slight hillside, sleek design throughout. In the midst of it is a small restaurant primarily for the hotel guests, with excellent meals, no need to travel around town.
