Finally made the snorkeling trip with my friends, was glad to have chosen x rector to do this trip , manage to see baby sharks , sea turtle and tried free diving with assistance of Mr Wee , friendly family manage Minsu. The environment of x rector is very beautiful and peaceful. When you wake up in the morning, you can walk directly opposite and sit on the deck to watch the sea and the listen to the sound of the waves. It is very comfortable and relaxing. But what I recommend most is their x rector finest snorkeling. In the past, snorkeling with other operator was really different. If you have a chance, you must come and try it. The boss will personally guide us how to deal with problems and take care of our safety. You can also see nemo, shark, turtle, jellyfish, stingray, puffer fish and beautiful coral, and also snorkeling to unique place. Will definitely come again. Super super recommended 😉

The staff is very friendly, and the homestay has a cozy, homely feel. We had a safe and amazing snorkeling experience, even for young kids and adults with a fear of water. It's definitely worthwhile to opt for the premium snorkeling package. The premium package brought us close to turtles, baby sharks, squid, giant clams, and many types of fish. Swimming alongside the fish and viewing the colorful coral gardens was wonderful. The thoughtful design and arrangements ensure utmost customer comfort. The delicious home-cooked meals, reminiscent of grandma's cooking, are a definite highlight. The peaceful and beautiful scenery around the house adds to the charm. Crabs can be seen walking near the dining area, which my kids loved watching during breakfast. X Rector Finest is a great choice! Highly recommended!

Good sized room for 4 pax , clean and hygiene . Super fun advanced snorkelling experience, seen couple of turtles and baby sharks . Wee is very patience and tedious certified instructor . He put safety as first priority, prior training is a mandatory before the real snorkelling. Unlike other snorkelling, Wee minimise the group size for the maximum of 8 pax so that he can look out for the safety of each traveler and ensure All of us seeing/experiencing same stuff. Thumbs up, Wee! Definitely will book with X Rector for my next Tioman trip

Great experience. Ambient is nice and romantic. The place is clean, well decorated and maintained. Suitable for 4 people's per room (dual queen beds). X rector located just 10 mins walk from Genting harbour. Enjoy the kampung and trail walking. Rock climbing and photo taking along the seaside (a place not to miss). For snorkeling lesson, luckily we selected the advance snorkeling lesson as the trainer/owner is very professional. My teenage son enjoy n pick-up lots of snorkeling technics. Thanks goodness. A wonderful learning process for my 13 y/o son. (From wearing a lifejacket, putting on mask, fins and airtube, until to be able to confidently perform a skin dive, clear water in the tube and mask, technic to stay float, to be able skin dive and get closer look at Nemo and turtle is wild. I never thought he will be able to pick-up such technic in 2 days). We also enjoy snorkeling lesson further away from Genting via small boat trip on the 3rd day at the forgotten island, white sand beach and small island next to pay. Takes 4-5 hours to enjoy all 3 locations and luckily the weather and the current allowed us to do so. A evening time, we enjoy the drink/coffee and movie at recreation room. Although the drink is chargeable but at reasonable price. (Can Coke, sprite, shandy, green tea and variety of beers). Plain water is easy to top up Infront of the room walkway. The small coffee shop n restaurant next to it able to serve some snacks, traditional fried rice and noodles. The kampung fried rice taste good!

Great place to stay on a magical island. The owners are really kind and helpful and the hotel provide a whole confort at a decent price. I strongly recommand this place and the snorkeling activity proposed by the owner. Futhermore, the food offered in the 2 restaurant of the hotel is good and affordable.

I have aquaphobia, but his training eased my anxiety, and he even convinced my 70+ year-old mother to join us on a snorkeling adventure! 3. Thoughtfully Designed Homestay: Every detail at X Rector is meticulously planned by Mr. Wee. From a well-equipped entertainment room and outdoor shower area to full-area Wi-Fi, top-notch snorkeling gear, cotton buds, and mosquito repellent—everything is taken care of. The resort is spotless, and the cozy, well-lit balcony is a highlight at night. 4. Unique Vibes: Unlike more commercialized islands, Tioman offers a unique, authentic vibe. The friendly locals made our stay even more enjoyable, giving us a true taste of the local culture. Overall, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at X Rector. I'm so glad I dug into the reviews and found this gem. If you're after serenity and an authentic local experience, I would highly recommend X Rector! a group of 19 of us booked the whole place to ourselves.we had a great time at X-Rector Homestay! so cosy and well thought out.. rooms and bathroom clean..i have stayed at Paya before but not as clean as X- Rector.air cons were cool. homecooked Chinese food was heavenly.simple yet nourishing.we ate so full..can even order cucur or jemput jemput from the next door stall. we tried normal snorkeling but we were satisfied with it coz most of us were 1st timers..if u want see more,should try the advanced snorkeling in your lifetime.Mr Wee 74 yr old mum even joined us snorkeling and rock climbing.really admired her spirit and vigor! the beach view was breathtaking..we had a blast at the karaoke room! the karaoke system and wifi were good!there is a kitchenette to make coffee or tea in the karaoke room.there were snacks and beer for sale too.how convenient! Mr wee and his family's great hospitality made our stay felt welcomed and at home. if u prefer exclusive and quiet island trip yet with a reasonable price,would definitely recommend X-Rector!

Best ever experience of first snorkelling in my life! The host is so nice and kind, Mr Wee is very professional and helpful. The view is so nice and the room is clean. I would definitely recommend and back again!
