Great place to spend a few days whilst visiting the national park. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel will provide a packed breakfast if you have an early start in the morning. The buffet food was good but as a smaller hotel not a massive choice, but still both Sri Lankan and European dishes available. Rooms were clean and comfortable the bathroom could do with updating but everything worked. Nice atmosphere and lovely views across the paddy fields.

Probably the best hotel you will find in Yala area. Super friendly staff, they make you fell at home. The rooms are big, super clean, welcoming and with a nice swimming pool view! The bed is super confortable as well. You will find also everything you need in the toilet (hair dryer, shampoo, body wash, soup ans even a shower cap). The restaurant have delicious food and very good service. The swmmingpool is super nice and clean. Staff 5 stars. We arrived super early in the morning and they let us go in the room without charging early check-in. I really recommend this hotel !

Отличное место. Отель с потрясающим видом на озеро. Можно засесть с кофе на балконе и любоваться пейзажем. Главное при этом не пропустить свое сафари в Яле - можно заказать прямо в отеле. Питание - шведский стол, как для тех, кто любит местное поострее, так и для тех, кто уже успел устать от ланкийской еды. Рекомендуем!

Great ambience and staff were amazing, we liked the way how they treated us and they were very friendly. I would suggest everyone to visit this amazing place if you are planning to Yala. The only drawback is, it is but far from the park. You need to travel for 30minutes. But, the accommodation is extraordinary.

The hotel is located in a great location, close to Yalla Park. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake. Many thanks to the manager who helped us organize our safari. I want to point out the strange behavior of the ladies at the reception. Not customer-oriented.

Lovely cool pool front room, spacious and clean. Nice hot shower with good water pressure. Outdoor dining with buffet breakfast and dinner, good selection of food. Kitchen packed takeaway breakfast to take on safari. Quiet complex, pool lovely and clean, plenty of lounges. Would be nice to have an area to lounge with a drink and relax. Overall a pleasant stay.

Breakfast was great, was able to bring along prepacked breakfasts for my safari & check out. However, could be more efficient with housekeeping (i came back from my safari to a room that wasnt cleaned yet, which was disappointing). But the people are nice. Just be more efficient.

We stayed here two nights to visit Yala on safari. The hotel exceeded our expectations, it is like a little oasis for the price. The room was a good size and had most things you require in the room. There was also a mosquito net but we did not need it. The bed was comfortable and having a kettle and fridge along with complimentary water is a plus. All the rooms have views over the pool area, which was a blessing to use after a long morning on safari. The hotel arranged the safari for us (thirty minutes to Yala gate entrance), and we were one of the lucky ones to see a leopard along with a host of other animals. The staff were very friendly, particularly Jaya who happened to serve us for breakfast and dinners during our stay. The owner is a charming man who has worked abroad for many years and brought all his skills and experience to create this little oasis which he can justifiably be proud of. We could have easily stayed on longer to just chill out by the pool. Very good value overall.

Honestly this place is so underrated! I had low expectations for my stay considering the previous ratings. But this became one of the best stay experience for my family! They had near rooms with AC and hot water. Fresh cooked buffet breakfast with a SriLankan cusine style and very accommodative of my diet requirements. The rooms were very comfortable with a good view from balcony looking over the pool. The boys that ran the check in counter were not so comfortable with English but they were very friendly and easy to deal with. Was expensive stay but worth every rupees spent!

Firstly I'd like to say that the room, hotel, grounds and surrounding area are lovely. The room is huge, nicely decorated and blooming lovely. The rest of the hotel has a very warm, welcoming and cosy feel to it. I wasn't able to try the hotels breakfast as I left early the next day for the safari that the hotel had organised for me. There's parking, aircon in the rooms. But it's safe to say that the pictures don't do the place justice. hmmm... the negative. There's a few little things that stopped the place being fantastic. When I turned up I was greeted by two of the hotels assistants. Suffice to say that their greeting was a bit frosty. The complete polar opposite as to what I'd experienced at the other hotels I'd stayed in around Sri Lanka. They looked at me as if I was going to rob the place. So, before going to my room I order from the menu what I'd like for dinner and then say three times and pointed to the menu, that I'd like a coffee. It never came. No biggy, but it's the little things. Next, prior to my stay, I got in contact with the hotel about a Safari. Twice the hotel confirmed the price. Low and behold, when I get to the hotel I'm told that the price i was told was in correct. Of course the price was more expensive. It's silly it's never cheaper is it haha. So again this leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, because it's not like the hotel doesn't sort these tours on a regular basis. Lastly, it would have been nice to swim in the pool if it wasn't turning green.
