Terrific newish hotel in the top 4 floors of an office building. About 320 t0 30 minute walk to Shibuya, Ginza or Harajuku or 2 minutes to the metro station. The metro is easy to use as instructions are in a lot of lanuages and you can pay with coins, notes or cards. We paid a little extra and were in a larger corner room with 180 degree views. Free generous minibar refilled each day. Staff were tops. There is a Japanese restaurant on the second floor which is independent of the notel. Excellent and fair prices. Breakfast was part of our package and it well above average. If you have bags or cant handle stairs ask the taxi to go into the basement from where you access the hotel with ease Tokyo is not cheap but I will certainly be back here

Hotel is absolutely stunning and the rooms are big by Tokyo standards. It’s about a 7 minute walk to the JR and the famous Shibuya Scramble, and about 4 minutes from the nearest exit / entrance to the subway. Rooms are beautifully decorated and the in house restaurant has a beautiful outdoor area as well. A little bit on the pricey side but worth it if you want a bit of luxury while in Japan.

Stayed 5 nights in a junior suite. Was concerned given previous reviews but they were far from the truth. Very large and comfortable accomodation, top class service, and prime location at a very reasonable price. It was heaps better than the Airbnb we got last year at a similar price.

Great hotel in central location. Rooms are big and comfortable for Tokyo standard and it’s a short walk to central shibuya crossing and JR line. Hotel breakfast was good and service by staff were very friendly. Big plus for those who are planning to ride a airport bus, the hotel is a stop for drop off and pick up.

The Grand Hyatt is a quality hotel in a premium location. Great access to the metro and the best parts of Tokyo. Plenty of food options near by and walkable to Aoyama and Omotosando, the best areas in Tokyo (in my opinion). The hotel is clean, well maintained and managed. The food options are decent, but the breakfast options aren’t great. The club lounge breakfast is below average. It has a strong smell of fish from the Japanese breakfast dishes, and there are no eggs available. I’d look elsewhere for breakfast and wouldn’t put any value in this if that is a consideration to upgrading to club lounge. PROS: Quality rooms with nice wood upgrades and a very nice rainfall shower with strong water pressure. Rooms are a decent size for Tokyo. Service is very professional Location is ideal CONS: Dated rooms. TV’s are from about 1995, and the rooms are probably 10 years past due a remodel. With that said, they are quality rooms which do date better. Club Lounge breakfast isn’t great. No eggs, strong fish smell. Mattresses are hard and older, so not level. Globalist status did zero for me at the hotel. No upgrades, not even a higher floor as requested. Not a place to come if status upgrades are important to you. While I understand that a full hotel means no upgrades, it’s still possible to get a higher floor, which was requested but not granted. Overall I would say for the value this is your best Hyatt option in Tokyo given the service, quality, and location versus price.

The location need walk 7 to 10 mins from train station, but there is family mart and shopping mall and donki on the way, so its ok. Also very close to 2 5star restaurant we booked so still good. The hotspring after service is interesting and so good that will provide one ice cream per people every night. Also have free ramen before 11pm. The overall experience is veryvery good.

What a gem of a hotel….seriously! This boutique hotel is gorgeous. Beautiful decor, a very cool, bustling lobby with coffee/bar & boutique & staff who really were the icing on the cake. The staff were so friendly & extremely accommodating to our family. The hotel is located in an amazing location in Shibuya …close enough to cat st for cool shopping & there were a plethora of amazing eating options at your doorstep. Notable places: Streamer (the BEST coffee around…not to mention their red velvet cheesecake brownie) , SHIbuichi bakery for delicious hot out of the oven breakfast bagels, croissants, kaarage chocken sandwiches & baked goods. For dinner do not miss Kushi just by the hotel entrance. Delicious rice dishes, yakitori & curry-they also do a deal offering a free glass of wine to hotel guests with your order. Menchirashi udon noodles ALWAYS had a queue & Yai Yai okonomiyaki was delicious. Do not miss The Little bakery Tokyo for the most delicious gourmet cakes, sandwiches & baked goods around. A big shout out to Yukiya for making our stay super special…& going above & beyond to make our stay so memorable 🙌🏻

It is my 2nd time in this hotel. First stay was back in 2020 and our family chose this hotel this time in 2023 because it's so dang perfect. The rooms are not tiny as how other Japan hotels are. We booked a room for 3pax and each of us had 1 single bed each. The toilet has a tub as well and staff are cleaning the room every single day, replacing all toiletries as well. The location is just near the shibuya crossing, about 500m walk (up hill) but it's just super near the mega donki. The hotel reception also allows guests to leave their luggage in the lobby even after check out which saves you a lot from having to rent coin lockers. I would definitely stay here again next time!

My first trip out to Japan and All Day Place Shibuya exceeded my expectations. I didn't really know what to expect, but I thought maybe I'd be in a small room with very little amenities. I'm glad I was wrong. At first, trying to find the front entrance to the hotel isn't set up like a typical hotel with a grand entrance. You've got a bar on the ground floor and a set of stairs and elevator flanking each end that lead to the first floor of the hotel itself. The lobby isn't set up with someone behind a desk on a computer, but more like a self-service kiosk you'd find at stores or some fast food joints. The hotel staff sit around a high glass table with laptops almost appearing like regular guests had it not been for some of them wearing the All Day Place t-shirt. They were there more for navigational support of the kiosk rather than actually checking you in or out. In fact, they looked more like college students studying and fixated on the laptops more than hotel staff. Don't get me wrong though, they were very friendly and accommodating though. It's not a very welcoming lobby, but it served a pretty good precursor to how many interactions would be like for the rest of our trip. There is a lot of self-reliance and service when it came to places we visited around Tokyo. Refreshing to have control, but intimidating for people that may not know the language. There are 3 kiosks that will act as both your check-in/out and as a change machine for when you need it. Once checked in, your room key will allow use of the elevators. The rooms are situated in an orientation around a central open air shaft. For summer, expect it to be very hot in the hallways surrounding this and for the winter, expect it to be frigid. And of course heavy rain will find its way into the landings, but it's nothing to worry about. The suites were booked so we opted for the 2 bed standard room. Comfy and a decent night sleep once you get used to the time zone. The sink is to the outside of the bathroom which was separated by a sliding door. The modern toilet was really nice and the shower had good pressure and temperature control. The ice/vending area is in the same room as the washing machines on the 8th floor. The combination washing machine/dryer was decent at washing but terrible at drying. Your experience may vary with these things. Despite going through a drying cycle 2x, I still had to hang my clothes in the room afterward. Back downstairs on the hotel main level is a pizza restaurant that also serves as the breakfast area for the hotel. Very good food overall, can't really go wrong here if you want to stay in the hotel for meals. For anyone not used to waiting around until 10AM for places to open up, this was key to not starving. As mentioned before, there is a bar on the first floor, serving finger foods and a good selection of beers and some liquors. The proximity to everything is ideal and what makes this place my choice if I were to visit again. Just a couple blo

This place is fantastic. It’s extremely clean and looks luxury. The bed was super comfortable, I did not feel claustrophobic at all because the area you get is pretty big with a big bed and a high ceiling so you don’t feel you are in a capsule hotel. They have a very nice work room and also a lounge. The staff were fantastic and helpful. The location is central. when I travel I usually stay at four or five star hotels, but during the cherry Blossom season all the luxury hotels were sold out or they were ridiculously expensive like three or four times the regular price. This is the first time I stayed in a castle hotel, and it just did not felt like being in a hustle because it was so luxury and clean . It’s five minutes walking to the station. I stay three nights in the Shibuya and 4 in Kyoto location and they both were amazing. I will consider staying here again whenever I visit Japan .

The hotel lobby is representative of the hotel; kitsch and full of chintzy decor. A real touch of 70’s nostalgia but clean and efficient. Checking in was simple and extra additions for your stay were offered and freely available. In keeping with the decor the rooms are opened with keys which you hand in when leaving and collect upon return. The room was fine, a little small, but this is the norm in a busy city and at a fair price. Everything needed was in the room, my only disappoin**ent was the pillows- one small cushion shaped pillow only. A great stay if you’re using the hotel as a base, and a lovely cafe/restaurant attached.

It’s a very nice location at Aoyama, you can easily find metro station, restaurants, supermarket, family mart and pharmacy. The room is tiny but the facilities are nice. The only issue is the wifi, not stable, I got disconnection multiple times. Nice choice for 1 or 2 nights.

We enjoyed our three night stay at the Shibuya Creston Hotel. We arrived early prior to our designated check in time and the front desk were kind to keep our baggage in their possession. Upon our return, our bags were ready in our assigned room. Check in was very prompt and all staff were courteous and polite with first class Japanese hospitality. Please note it is common for hotels to ask for and take a photocopy of your passports during registration. Note that the property will also collect a city tax upon arrival, so do not be alarmed of this small added cost. Location is amazing and is a perfect walking distance to all of the hotspots in Shibuya as well as the train terminal. As a security measure, the front desk control all keys (physical metal lock manual type) and cross reference your name to the room. We found it simple and convenient as it does not require us to lug around keys as well as it employs an added measure of security. Room was generally clean overall; despite not being renovated to modern standard, we could tell they showed great effort and professionalism in keeping good order. We stayed at multiple hotels during our visit to Japan, and we can tell the difference between old and clean versus old and dirty. The room includes disposable slippers, use of nightwear, bidet with heated seat and complimentary bottled waters for each night of our stay. Despite the drawbacks of being a dated hotel and smaller room, we felt it was tremendous value for the Shibuya area if location is important, the room rate is fair for the area and staff were exceptional. On our Japan trip, we spent most of our days sightseeing and little time in the room, so this was a perfect spot for us to rest for the next day of adventures.
