Ulasan Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa

This hotel is good to stay in during Sakura season as they have a wonderful sakura garden in the hotel. Staff are friendly, recommended to book restaurants in advance. The rooms are outdated, as this is the older hotel.

very very old hotel, the gym is tiny, only two treadmill, and checkout time is very early at 11!!! not a pleasant experience! These room photos are heavily photoshopped. Definitely not a five star hotel!

Beautiful hotel grounds. Room is a bit old but still ok for us. There’s internal shuttle bus which was helpful since the hotel was up the slope and it’s not easy to lug the bags up there.

Clran and vomfortable hotel, located at a good location. Very convinent for foreigners to stay here! Shuttle bus is very important and helpful too!

My recent stay at the Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa exceeded all expectations. The hotel's proximity to Shinagawa train station was a boon for a solo traveler like myself, with just a brief 10-minute walk providing easy access to direct trains to Haneda Airport. Stepping into the hotel, I was immediately struck by the peaceful atmosphere that enveloped me. Arriving during cherry blossom season was a stroke of luck, as the hotel's garden was adorned with exquisite cherry blossom trees in full bloom. My room surpassed all expectations, offering a spacious retreat that provided respite from the excitement of Tokyo. Impeccably clean and tastefully appointed, the room exuded a sense of calm that was conducive to relaxation. Despite being in the heart of the city, the room was remarkably quiet, allowing me to unwind and recharge after a day of exploration. The hotel's breakfast spread was a delightful culinary experience, offering both high-quality buffet options and traditional Japanese breakfast dishes. Overall, my solo retreat at this charming hotel was an unforgettable experience.

A good hotel close to the station. It rests on top of a hill which may be troublesome for those with luggage. A taxi close to the Shinagawa station can be ridden for only 500 yen to the hotel.

Very retro hotel, but environment is beautiful and breakfast at Shin Tanagawa is awesome.

Great breakfast, AC could be a little colder, shuttle bus was VERY convenient, smoking area available at the lobby. Overall the location beside the park is breathtaking 😊

Location is up the hill, you’ll need to walk thru the park and up the hill from Shinagawa station. It’s one of the furthest prince hotel. Value for money isn’t very high. The park is a nice touch and you can go for a relaxing walk.
