The room size is pretty good for Tokyo standards, and having a large public bath (onsen) is a huge plus. The only downside is that the nearest stations are about 500-600 meters away, which can be a bit tiring after a long day of walking. Oh, and the smoking room is actually quite well done.

Great atmosphere, good breakfast, and a convenient location. The smoking room and public bath are both on the 13th floor. Self-check-in was very easy, and the price is reasonable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Tokyo.

The hotel's location is pretty good, though it's probably one of the more standard Mitsui Garden properties. It's a convenient 15-minute walk to Ginza, and getting to Tokyo Tower from here is also easy.

This is my second stay here, and it's just as good as the first time. Even though the room is small, it's very comfortable. They have a hot spring open all night, and there's a convenience store nearby. The only minor flaw is that the tram can be a bit noisy in the evenings and early mornings.

Good location near train and subway stations. Nice breakfast both Japanese and Western. Good to have onsen, but quite small and crowded.

The room was tiny. The large public bath was incredibly comfortable and very clean. My room was cleaned daily, which was great. It's just very small. There are many subway stations nearby, but it's about a ten-minute walk to each, so not exactly close. The neighborhood is very quiet, a residential area with nothing commercial. The nearest Don Quijote Ginza store is about a 15-minute walk away.

I recently stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel Shiodome Italia-gai and had a generally pleasant experience, though there were a few drawbacks worth noting. Location: The hotel is conveniently located within a short walk of several train stations and the monorail, making it an excellent base for exploring Tokyo. The surrounding Italia-gai district is calm and charming, with relatively light local traffic. However, the noise insulation leaves much to be desired. Trains from multiple nearby lines can be heard frequently and quite loudly from early morning till late at night. Additionally, the nearby fire department sirens are audible, though not as disruptive as the trains. Room: By Tokyo standards, the room was spacious and comfortable. However, I noticed blackish deposits around the air-conditioning outlet, which I hoped were not mold. To err on the side of caution, I chose not to operate the AC during my stay. Aside from this concern, the room was generally satisfactory. Service: Check-in and check-out were efficient and convenient via automated machines. The front desk staff were kind and accommodating, and assisted with any additional questions. Room service was thorough and reliable, ensuring a clean and pleasant environment throughout my stay. Breakfast: The breakfast buffet offered a mix of Japanese and European-style dishes. The taste and quality were acceptable, with an average but adequate selection. Between 7:30 and 8:30 AM, the restaurant becomes extremely crowded, often resulting in no available seating and a wait outside. The space feels undersized for the number of guests, making the atmosphere less comfortable during peak hours. It would be helpful if the hotel informed guests about busy times to allow for better planning. Overall: This hotel offers a convenient location, spacious rooms, and friendly service. However, improvements in soundproofing, breakfast crowd management, and room maintenance would significantly enhance the guest experience.

The hotel room was more spacious than other hotels, but a bit dated. If you mind walking a distance, you might want to find a place closer to the station. Overall: average value for money.

I booked the room with Tokyo Tower view, so this is the view from our room. The location is nice but a bit far from the station. There are many convenience store and supermarket around the hotel. There is the public bath but I think the size is too small for the hotel size.

The location is great! We were within walking distance of 3 different train stations! The room was big, we had a couch which was nice. The front desk staff were welcoming, attentive and warm. The cleaning staff were very attentive, punctual and helpful - I hope they can get recognition for their efforts! We had an amazing view of Tokyo Tower. I would definitely be staying here again during our next visit to Tokyo!

Facilities: Excellent. My go-to choice every time I visit Tokyo. Cleanliness: Very good, spotless. Environment: Convenient transportation nearby, plenty of dining options. Service: Excellent. I'll be back.

Chose this place because my roommate wanted to revisit it... Honestly, it was expensive with no redeeming features whatsoever... So overpriced! Completely not worth it. Let's talk about the environment – the only thing I can give high marks for. The surroundings are beautiful, giving off a feeling of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle. As for service, there was none. Among the several front desk staff, the younger Japanese ladies were okay, but what's with the grumpy old woman? Who is she putting on that sour face for? I stayed again a few days later, and the feeling was even worse... They insisted I use the machine for check-in, even though the front desk would have been quicker. They wouldn't let me use an available spot, instead giving it to a Japanese guest. The hygiene was very unsatisfactory. During my first stay, there were hair strands stuck all over the bathroom walls... On my second stay, the towel literally had a clump of dust on it... In the middle of the night, the footlight kept flickering on and off and I couldn't turn it off... Good thing I had a roommate, otherwise, being alone, it would have scared me to death!

Overall is okay, but during our stay, every night there is a cockroach in the toilet. Three different ones. About 7 mins walk to the train station, but there is not elevator need to take the luggage to walk upstairs or downstairs.
