This is the most spectacular hotel we have ever stayed in. My husband and I just spent three weeks in Japan for our honeymoon, and we spent our first two nights in Japan at the wonderful Hoshinoya in Tokyo. It was an experience that was unmatched in the rest of Japan! The amount of thoughtfulness and care that goes into every detail is astounding. The rooms are VERY comfortable and gorgeous, and I really enjoyed the shared communal space on our floor to make coffee and get a treat or snack. The onsen is OUT OF THIS WORLD ridiculous, with an open air skylight. AND, the food is delicious and made with all of the detail and flavor you would expect out of Japanese food. We got the Japanese breakfast in our room both days, and splurged on dinner at the restaurant hotel, which was one of the best meals we have ever had. 15/10 recommend this hotel if you can afford it - we would have happily stayed here for our entire trip!

文華酒店的大門是非常隱蔽難找的，空調哪怕風開到最小也有嗡嗡聲，洗手間沒有任何 遮擋，衹能站在浴缸裏面沖涼，水會噴到浴缸外麪，馬桶是沒有蓋子的，刷牙洗臉的人是可以看到坐在馬桶上的人。早餐的時候哪怕有很多空位，也要耐心等待服務員，慢慢地安排，動作太慢。優點：西餅食物不錯，房間乾淨，景色優美，總的來說不值。早上6-9:00的37樓spa是免費的，酒店附近的街道櫻花爛漫非常美麗。，附近的三越和其他商場逛起來也很方便。早餐選擇沒有想象中的那麼豐富，不過也夠了。

It’s just wonderful to stay in ascott. It is just opposite to otemachi station (find exit C9). Best of all, it has a 24 hour gym, suitable for gym goers / and more importantly business travel. The room is bigger than most ordinary rooms in Tokyo, with art of state facilities. The staff here are attention, and helpful. Do consider if you have the extra budget 😊

東京へ出張だったため、昔の職場があった御茶ノ水に久しぶりに訪れてみたくなり、宿泊した。エコノミー ダブルルーム 禁煙 (120cm)で、朝食は食べなかった。 特に問題の無いビジネスホテル。 夜7時にチェックイン後シャワーを浴びていたら何か鳴っていて、確認したら目覚まし時計だった。おそらく前の宿泊者が朝7時に設定していたもの。大きな問題ではないが、ルームメイキングの時に確認してくれると良いと思った。 若い外国人スタッフにベテランが丁寧に教えている姿は微笑ましかった😊

数日連泊しました。 滞在中は、外出にもとても立地が良く便利で助かりましたが 仕事でパソコンを利用する際のWi-Fiが全く役に立たず 大変困りました。直ぐに見直し対応して頂きたいです。 近く次回の利用も考えているのですがWi-Fiの関係で、予約を に迷いますね。。 それ以外は、部屋も全体的に使いやすく清潔感もあり良かったです。 気になったのは、エアコンが昔のスタイルで、空調の大中小とボリューム を合わせる感じでしたが、エアコンの効きが悪く暑くて汗が出る感じでした。 空調の調子が悪かったのかはわかりません。 それから、浴室の備え付けのタオル掛けの器具が飛び出ており 何度も何度も腕に当たり痛い思いをしました。 棒が二重になっており手前の部分にぶつかる感じでした。 朝食はとても美味しくて、スタッフの対応は良い印象でした。 お茶碗が異常に重いです。

I stayed at the hotel Juraku for a week during a business trip. It is a business hotel. I picked a double room. Still, it was very small by western standards. It was hard to find a place for one suitcase. Nevertheless, I found it clean, quiet and comfortable. The mattress was very firm by American standards. But I did not have any problems sleeping. The bathroom was tiny, but it had a nice bathtub and good water pressure. Wifi and wired internet worked pretty well. The restaurant was open only for breakfast. Breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and had a lot of things to choose from. There were few western items, but everything was tasty. No English signs, so I had to use Google Translate app. Hotel staff was very helpful. I would not recommend this hotel to people who are sensitive to the smell of tobacco smoke. Even though I stayed on a non smoking floor, it still smelled like cigarettes in the elevator and in the hallways. In general, I was satisfied with this hotel. I would stay there again if I were traveling to Tokyo by myself. But I would probably look for a larger room if I travelled with someone else.

Ogni volta che vado a Tokyo, pernotto in questo hotel. Quest'anno altre due notti. Nonostante la struttura sia un po' vecchia, il soggiorno è sempre piacevole. Camere non grandi ma neanche piccolissime, e con tutto quanto serve (servizi, frigorifero, televisione, aria condizionata e anche nelle stanze più piccole, divano e tavolino per consumare un pasto in camera). Da segnalare i bagni pubblici al sesto piano e la colazione gratuita con un vasto assortimento. Se si vuole stare lontano dalle zone più congestionate ma vicino a servizi (trasporti, ristorazione, parco), consiglio. Da Narita sono circa 50 minuti con la linea Keisei.

Good value hotel in a convenient location - only a 5 min walk from Akihabara JR station! As the name suggests, the hotel is quite literally under a railway - some of the lighter sleepers in our friend group had some trouble sleeping as a result - but the hotel provides plenty of amenities like earplugs, slippers, etc. to help guests feel comfortable. All-in-all, a fine stay and would definitely recommend, especially for groups!

The room was clean but a bit old and walls were thin. I could hear the noise of the other guests.They provide basic amenities. The wifi was working fine. Would be the best place if you are a budget traveler and want to explore around Ueno.

Panda themed hotel in a very convenient location in Ueno. It is just a few minutes away by foot to the subway lines, and it is a great place as your final hotel in Japan since the Keisei Ueno station (Skyliner to Narita) is nearby as well. Check-in was easy using a self-service kiosk with the guidance of staff. We were also given a panda themed tote bag which contained stickers and two file folders. In the hallway leading to the hotel rooms there were also edits of famous art pieces with pandas, and in the room, panda sheets, cushions and a huge plush. The hotel was refurbished just a few months back so everything was spotless. Would stay here again.

However, it's worth noting for future guests that if you're traveling with heavy luggage, there are a few small stairs to navigate before accessing the elevator, which can be a bit of a challenge. The Zen room itself was a delightful blend of modern amenities and traditional Japanese aesthetics, providing a tranquil and comfortable environment. It was spacious enough for our family and well-equipped for our needs. One of the biggest advantages of staying at BnA Studio Akihabara was its proximity to the bustling Akihabara district. This was particularly enjoyable for our daughter, who found Akihabara to be the highlight of our trip. The area is lively and full of exciting sights, sounds, and shopping opportunities, particularly for those interested in electronics and pop culture. Overall, our experience at BnA Studio Akihabara was very positive. The minor inconvenience of carrying luggage up some stairs was far outweighed by the comfortable accommodations, excellent location, and the unique experience of staying in a room that so beautifully captured the essence of Zen in Japan. We would recommend it to other travelers, especially those looking to immerse themselves in the vibrant energy of Akihabara.
