Hotel berhampiran Piac, Toronto

Location is very good, very close to metro station. There is a SHOPPER, a Loblaws and a Mcdonald's with 3 mins walk. One station to Eaton Center (15 min walking distance). Front desk staff are nice. 优点：位置相当好，在市中心，交通很方便，距离地铁站不到5分钟路程。旁边有Shopper(里面有ATM，有邮局), Loblaws两大超市，还有一家麦当劳。走路去Eaton Center大约15分钟（沿途有无数餐厅，奶茶店，海底捞等等），1个地铁站。去哪里都很方便。前台服务生态度很好~ 房间空间很大，书桌、电视柜和餐柜都很大。虽然是大床房不过衣柜里提供多一床被子。楼下除了酒店包餐的自助餐厅，也有自己点餐的cafe。很容易就能叫到Uber，到机场大概不到50元加币。 缺点：房间里没有kettle煮水器。由于在市中心，清晨和晚上附近有时候会有一些homeless或流浪汉。

全新的酒店，完全超出了多倫多的風格，非常chic,stylish,復古的金屬元素，混搭的很潮。配色大膽時尚。新的酒店在很多細節都很仔細，超級好評！

Lovely rooms, and friendly staff. It’s more of a serviced apartment vibe as they don’t clean rooms unless you request from the night before and they also don’t help you with your luggage to your room. Besides that, the stay was perfect.

Toilet not flushing properly. Corrected after I raised the problem with staff. Toilet paper roll holder loose. Corrected after I raised the problem with staff. Elevators often very slow. One time it was on service and cleaner asked us to take another elevator. This hotel is slipping due to benign neglect. I only stay there because of location.

Check-in was easy after hours even though will be charged a late check in fee. Staff are okay, some not too friendly but night security guy was very helpful at welcoming. The location is awesome as you have close access to the streetcar, metro stations 5-10 minutes' walk and easy access to fast food and grocery stores. The dorms are spacious; however, the downside is if you end up with a top bunk there is not power outlet access as they are all on the bottom so you may have to power up in the sitting area outside the dorm or next door in the common area (kitchen and lounges). There have been complaints about the unhoused encampment across the street in the park, but it wasn't as much as expected but still quite the eye sore for the business but it's manageable as its pretty much people walking their dogs. The place is very clean, which is strictly enforced and a good thing (especially the kitchen). I like that! The next time I am in Toronto I will definitely stay here and would recommend. Clarence Park saved me hundreds of dollars on a near the airport hotel.

I’d like to make it clear that the manager (Emeline) did everything in her power to make up for all the issues I experienced once she was made aware of them. Unfortunately for me, that wasn’t until my last day. This was my first solo trip. The hotel itself is beautiful, and it’s in a great location. It doesn’t have step free access - there is one step up from street level. I waited 10 mins to check in with the host Supriya and eventually found my way to my room (I was not given directions or any information outside of my room number) which turned out to have two single beds instead of the 1 queen bed I booked. When I went back down to politely resolve this, I was met with attitude and told that what I was given was what I booked. After showing proof of my booking, she admitted that I’d been moved because there was some kind of hockey event and they had a last minute group booking that they accommodated instead of me. After some back and forth, Supriya eventually agreed that I could have the cost of my breakfast covered in the morning to compensate for this inconvenience, as they didn’t have any rooms available that night to move me to. The next morning I came down for breakfast as we’d agreed, and after being greeted sat down by another staff member, Supriya decided that this was a good time to publicly humiliate me (breakfast is in a very public dining area and there were a fair amount of people also sat down eating or waiting to order) by telling me that actually, my breakfast wouldn’t be covered because the cost of the room I booked was equal to what I had been given. Please note, I had to walk past the front desk in order to get to the dining area, so she could have relayed this to me privately instead of letting me get sat down. Needless to say I was completely caught off guard by this after a long flight and a restless night of trying to sleep in a single bed for the first time in almost 20 years. I tried to get her to understand my frustration and she just kept saying she could show me screenshots of the cost if I wanted. I asked to speak to the manager repeatedly for the next few days and was told by Supriya that I couldn’t. On the morning of my last day, Supriya must have finally had a day off, because I got a call from Aisha at the front desk who had noticed the room issue on the system. She was so lovely, she apologised and called the manager for me instantly when I mentioned how I had been treated previously. The manager I spoke to (Emeline) is kind, compassionate and a true asset to this hotel. I only wish I could have met and spoken to her earlier in my stay. She apologised profusely and made sure the room issue was corrected as well as covering my dinner that night and giving me a later check out. She even went as far as to give me a ton of recommendations of what to see in the city once she’d understood what my interests were. So honestly my low rating actually has nothing to do with the hotel itself, or 98% of the staff.

The Tv is big and with high resolution. Bed is tidied up neatly and the room is cleaned. Feel comfortable when I walk in the room. There are lotion and facial wash in the bathroom. All the furniture seems simple but great.

My sister stayed here for a night during Caribana weekend. She said it was really nice, everything was new and clean.

My wife and I recently spent three nights at the TownPlace Suites hotel in Markham, Ontario. We booked the room with our Bonvoy points, so I can’t comment on price. Markham is a suburb about 15 miles north of Toronto. We picked this location since it was near relatives we were visiting. It’s located on a fairly busy highway with various commercial businesses nearby. There is a Chinese restaurant (QJD Peking Duck), which we did not visit, on the first floor. The thirteen-story building actually holds two Marriott properties: Courtyard by Marriott on floors 2 - 8 and TownPlace on floors 9 - 14. The registration desk serves both hotels. The lobby has several areas for socializing. There also is a Bistro/Bar area. Conference rooms, a business center and a spa are off to the side. A fitness center and indoor pool are on the lower level. Wifi is free. Surprisingly, parking is not. Signs say that it costs $6 Canadian per day to park in the attached multi-level garage, but we apparently were not charged. Check-in was courteous and efficient. You need your keycard to access the elevator. TIP: There is no 13th floor; the elevator buttons go from 12 to 14! We were assigned room 915. TIP: the room was almost across the hall from the ice machine and one wall of the room directly abutted the elevator bank. While the noise was neglible, you might want to keep this in mind if you’re a very light sleeper. The room was clean and decorated in what I would call ikea style. It was like living in a studio apartment. A flat screen TV was on a two-drawer chest/dresser. A wall-mounted desk had overhead shelving, a vertical cupboard, desk chair and rollout table. The kitchen section had a sink, two-burner electric range top, coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher (!) and fairly large refrigerator. There were multiple cabinets and drawers filled with practically every kitchen item you’d need: pots, pans, dishes, flatware, soap, etc. And if they’re still something you might need, chances are you can get it from the front desk. (See pic.) A full-size closet contained an iron/ironing board. No sign of a safe. The sitting area contained a loveseat, ottoman and floor lamp. The king-size bed had five pillows. The bed was a little soft, but comfortable. It was flanked by nightstands and wall-mounted lamps with electric outlets. 
The bathroom was average-sized. The vanity had lots of counter space and several drawers. And a hair dryer. The shower was quite large, taking up about a third of the room. There was wall-mounted hand soap and hair/body wash (in the shower) by ALICE & Co+ botanicals. Shower pressure and temperature were fine. TIP: Don’t be alarmed when you flush the toilet - the sound is comparable to that generated by an airplane commode. Breakfast was included with the room and was served on the 14th floor. Stayed for one night before my flight. Good location, close to the airport and lots of restaurants within a reasonable walking distance. Rooms are well equipped, although the air conditioning was a disappointment. There is a control on the wall, which is misleading because the air conditioner is a separate unit. However, the air conditioner shuts off when the area near it reaches the temperature setting, while the room will be warmer. Setting the air conditioner at the coldest setting created a reasonable temperature but I would be concerned on a very hot day. I found the service to be generally polite, although not always helpful in accommodating requests. I asked for a quiet room with a bathtub. While I got the bathtub, the room faced the road, which was noisy at times. I had called the hotel a few days in advance so it should not have been an issue to accommodate both requests. I arranged the shuttle to the airport the day before required, but when inquiring about it, to make sure I didn't miss it, one of the front desk attendants (white woman with a Slavic name if I remember correctly) was quite rude. Apparently she doesn't understand the worry about getting to the airport on time since the shuttle only runs every 40 minutes so it would be an issue to miss it. The common facilities are good. The lobby lounge and breakfast area are nice and there is a beautiful courtyard in the centre of the hotel. The pool area was nice and there is a sauna, although note that it is on a timer so you need to get there early to let it warm up. The pool and sauna close at 10pm, which I thought was early as an 11pm closing would be helpful. The menu of the restaurant looked good, prices reasonable and a decent selection of beer for discerning drinkers. Breakfast was good but for the price, they should provide some vegetables for a salad. Overall, a reasonable stay and I would give the hotel another opportunity. I would pass on the breakfast though next time, provided there is time in the morning, as there is a Denny's nearby
