Siena House

Malvin and Amanda have created an oasis at the Siena House. The setting and landscape is stunning, but Amanda’s oil paintings stole our attention. Beautiful “airscapes” throughout the house. Malvin equally artistic with his homemade yogurt, fresh muffins, bottomless lattes, fresh eggs and home smoked bacon. Amazing stay, don’t miss out!

we just returned home from a 10 day stay at siena house, and it was nothing short of incredible. we traveled with our 6-month-old baby and truly could not have managed this vacation without a home base like siena house. it’s a stunning property that is every inch as good as the photos, and it’s in an impeccable location. driving distance to nearby towns (montepulciano, montalcino, pienza, etc) was perfect for naps, and even after 10 days, we always found somewhere new to explore. a few specific highlights: malvin’s daily breakfast was a true delight - always homemade, always delicious. amanda went above and beyond to accommodate the baby - baby cot, infant bath insert and baby laundry were all included. and, the outdoor kitchen was a lifesaver when we weren’t up for another dinner out. if you’re thinking about booking, just do it. we’re already planning our next trip back!

This Tuscan farmhouse was wonderfully restored and decorated by our hosts Amanda and Malvin. The farmhouse is an eclectic mix of Tuscan and modern art, with a very modern vibe. Amanda, an artist, decorated the entire home. Our hosts were great and treated us like family. From the chickens, ducks, and geese in yard, to the beautiful Tuscan sunsets and vineyards, it was a wonderful respite from spending several nights in Florence. Malvin's totally homemade breakfasts were a wonderful way to start the day. The location is well off the beaten path yet an easy drive to many of the Tuscan hilltop villages. A perfect place to relax and enjoy Tuscany.

Hadn't been back to this property in several years, but we were pleased to see the quality remains high. Stunning views (especially at sunset), quiet and comfy rooms, breakfasts cooked from scratch, and very friendly and knowledgeable hosts, including their charming and clever son, Henry. You can easily fill your phone with photos of the views, the property, and the stunning pool. One of those places that is hard to leave after breakfast and near-impossible to leave at the end of your visit. We will be back.

Amazing hospitality from Malvin and his son Henry. Their place is gorgeous of course, with views out of every single room, and superbly appointed accommodations, but what made this place special were the hosts. Malvin treated my wife and I to a freshly prepared breakfast each day, and varied the menu every single time during our 5 day stay. The duck eggs were especially delicious, and the pear muffins were outrageously good. And, my favorite, the Americano from Malvin's industrial espresso machine...The bomb. But, besting Mavin was his son Henry, who was both hospitable and engaging and managed to educte us about Dinosaurs, and the many ways you could form them out of a very special kind of clay. Thank you Henry...We will not forget. And, finally, the process of Safran cultivation was made bare for us thanks to Malvin and a final product in the form of a bread made from Safron was one of our treats that we will never forget.
