Les Trésorières

Very good location and quiet hotel . Hôtel bien situé et calme

We spent three nights at Les Trésorières in March. We loved our stay. It was the shoulder season in the Loire Valley and we stayed during the week, so the hotel was very quiet. We had prepaid a “bed and breakfast special” and had a huge (especially by European standards) bedroom with a comfortable king bed and a large bathroom which included a gigantic tub. The hotel is very new. The hotel is in an excellent location, across the street from Les Halles where you can get wine, cheeses, meats, sweets, and so on. Parking is very close, with reserved spaces in the public garage and with inexpensive rates by hotel standards. Our room was very comfortable – the only issue we had is that it is was hard to properly cool down the room unless you opened a window. There was a fridge with complimentary (and replenished) waters and soft drinks, along with a mini Nespresso and tea kettle. (We just wish they provided a corkscrew in the room instead of having to traipse down to the bar for one!) There was a good-sized safe in the room. Wifi was excellent. In the bathroom, the shower temperature control and water were great, and there were very nice Clarins bath products. The hotel has a nice little fitness center and a beautiful indoor pool, sauna and steam room – we were really sad we didn’t bring our swimsuits! There is an extensive private outdoor courtyard which would be lovely to hang out in the summer. The hotel has a cute little bar. Breakfast was wonderful, with a wide assortment of pastries, fruits, yogurts, cereals, meats, cheeses, hot breakfast-y dishes, eggs to order, and coffees. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. All in all, we would highly recommend Les Trésorières to anyone wanting to stay in a lovely new hotel in the area.

Really liked the upscale feel of this hotel. Room was nice and bed very comfortable. Bathroom well appointed. Staff friendly. Nice breakfast. Parking is in an underground lot across the street. Easy walk to an extensive old town. Would have given 5 stars but our room was too warm. Staff set it cooler on our individual thermostat but it never cooled down. Not sure if it was broken or we just didn’t have it figured out

We had a beautiful and spacious room that was superbly furnished and very comfortable. The staff is top notch, extremely friendly and eager to please. Highly recommend. This is your best hotel option in Tours. Also right next to Vieux Tours, Place Plumerau and Les Halles.

Les Trésorières hotel was fabulous. So beautiful. So quiet. The room was exquisite. The staff was attentive and took great care to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Wow. I wish I could have stayed here longer. The room was very large and looked brand new.

The staff were very polite and helpful. Ask them about the street with the restaurants, this was great advice and lots of options. The room was so spacious, the shower was the best ever. The bed was super comfy. Just what we needed at the end of a long French road trip. There’s a pool too. Delicious buffet breakfast, lady very polite. Parking is opposite hotel in Indigo Parking, and isn’t too expensive.

We stayed here for 3 nights in June. I believe we were in room 25 which was just the most comfortable and loveliest of rooms. Our extremely comfortable bed was in a very spacious room. The bathroom was superb with its deep huge bathtub and separate walk in shower with a rain showerhead. The staff was wonderful, especially the tall man who was there during most days. Breakfast was wonderful and varied.

We loved this hotel! It's small and very well appointed and located in a very convenient place in Tours. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the room was large and comfortable, with lovely amenities like Clarins toiletries and a Nespresso maker. It was clear that the owner put a lot of thought into how to make the room as comfortable as possible. I would stay there again and highly recommend.

We only stayed in this hotel for one night before a Loire Valley cycling adventure but it was a rough night. We were placed in room 16 and the smell in this room is so terrible that it is hard to breathe. Apparently this room used to be part of a fireplace and it still smells very strongly like you are in a fireplace. i immediately asked to change rooms but was told no other room was available. The person at the front desk assured us the smell would pass shortly but that was not the case. I had the windows open all night despite cold weather and rain just to try and sleep. When we complained the next morning at check out no one seemed surprised or apologetic. They should not be using this room for guests in its current state. The rest of the property appears lovely but my experience there was really terrible and very expensive.
