must try in life. The staff are super friendly and warm. Garden view is very well designed. In the early morning you can hear birds singing. The hotel has two in-house onsens which are way better than other public onsens in the town in my opinion.

老牌的日式酒店、庭院很漂亮，服務熱情。晚餐是屋裡吃的懷石料理、一道一道的上，吃了倆小時😁院子裏的私湯隨時可以泡。

非常好的一次住宿體驗！房間面積比一般溫泉旅館大，三個人住得非常舒適，在房間裏的餐廳進餐感覺非常好！晚餐及早餐都是時令新鮮食材，別出心裁的烹調、精緻的擺盤，絕對是色香味俱全！非常推薦！

這是一家百年老店 從城崎温泉站打車過去幾分鐘在窄窄的路上 旁邊是另外一家老店三木屋 有周到的迎接 一進酒店看到處處打理得精緻整潔 維護得非常好 我的日式房在二樓房間不大 設施優良 一樓的可以看庭院估計濕度會大些 有交換的温泉大池沒有私湯 乾淨但温泉一股濃郁的消毒水的味道 這個酒店歐美客人很多 温泉看到紋半花臂後背一條大蛇的歐美妹子 晚餐房間內 體驗不好 吃得很累 上菜的節奏 菜品的質量還趕不上星野界的 同樣四千一個人鶴雅碧之座lunge 料理設計得有奢華的感覺 馥府系列也有 房間吃弊端烤牛肉後房間一大股味 上菜的小姐姐搬着沉重的餐具也很累 早餐大廳吃 上菜節奏好很多 兩餐的調味都是日式甜鹹口 過甜過鹹 比較簡陋 服務上在門口接待得很熱情有豐田送站服務 茶水吧沒有銀水莊豐富 不會按時段更換的 這裏的房子幾乎沒有隔音 抽風機和空調比較響 需備耳塞 遮光比一般日式温店好 這次旅行體驗了很多酒店 共立旗下翻新過的佳雲印象最好 上菜行雲流水 一泊二食才一千多一個人 體驗過修善寺新井 和這家都是歷史悠久的酒店 以後不會想再訂 但稻取銀水莊這次又訂了

酒店會提前幾天發你郵件確認一些事宜，比如何時到，要不要安排接送，早飯晚餐安排等等。酒店安靜漂亮，服務很好。酒店裡有温泉湯，不用外出去所謂的七個公共温泉浴場。酒店的温泉有兩個池子，室內室外各一個，什麼也不用帶，裏面洗漱用品是Pola。穿好日式浴衣拿了房門鑰匙去就好了，相比外出還要帶毛巾等等簡單方便多了。再説那麼熱的天，35-37度的，走出去不熱死嗎？公共的温泉人又多，沒什麼好的。我定的半食宿包早飯晚飯。早飯有日式和西式兩種，最晚九點一檔，去了已經準備好了，吃的太飽。晚飯是在自己房間吃的，一道道上來，主廚每日精選食材，精緻好吃，也是吃的太飽，哈哈。服務麼就不用説了，頂級。酒店冰箱裏飲料免費，有水有果汁有運動飲料有氣泡水有啤酒，一樓還有咖啡牛奶新鮮果汁免費。酒店還有自行車免費租用，預訂一下就好。騎個5公里左右就到了北面的海邊，還有個小的水族館，整個是個國家公園吧。其它麼，留待你自己去看看吧。

房間足夠大，服務也很到位，就是晚餐在房間吃確實不太習慣，用餐時間也比較長，一道一道菜的上真的是慢呀，也許這是人家的特色，總之習慣了咱們的快節奏，這還真是慢生活！還有就是真的很貴，房費確實不便宜。

太好看啦！簡直完美，晚餐和早餐十分優秀，大美味，服務也這麼超級好，會提供浴衣的選擇和拍照，下次會再來！

It’s a beautiful historical hotel. The traditional rooms are very large and offer views of the Japanese garden that is exquisite. The bathroom with the open air bath was stunning. I could have spent my entire day soaking in the wooden bath. The cuisine served in the room is to die for. The private bath in their sister hotel was very luxurious. The only detail I would change is to get rid of the ugly plastic shoes that you have to wear inside the hotel. Everything is so luxurious that plastic shoes do not belong to such a stunning place!

We stayed 2 wonderful nights in the Nishimuraya Honkan. We arrived by car and drove in, from that point the staff took over, unloading our cases, and then taking our car away until we were ready to leave. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly, check in was efficient, with full explanations of the facilities of the hotel and the Onsens of the town. The room was a typical and very stylish ryokan room looking out onto an absolutely beautiful garden. Although many other rooms are nearby you are not overlooked because of the clever layout of the garden. The minibar is stocked with a variety of non-alcoholic drinks and beer and all are complimentary and refilled during your stay. The lounge also has complimentary tea, coffee and soft drinks available at all times. The hotel has 3 onsens of its own and you have complimentary access to all the town’s public onsens for the duration of your stay. The hotel is located at one end of the town but it’s a pretty and very easy walk through the town, especially in the evening when the day crowds have gone and all the hotel residents are walking about in yukata. The hotel provides yukata for you to use during your stay, and walking from onsen to onsen and around the town in it was one of the highlights of our holiday. For breakfast there’s a western or Japanese option. For dinner it’s a traditional Japanese kaiseki meal and they did me a vegetarian version which was delicious. The futon beds were really comfortable too. All in all a wonderful stay which couldn’t be faulted.

I thought we'd been to some nice ryokan but Nishimuraya Honkan brought it to another level. The building was recently renovated in summer 2024 so the interior is refreshed but still has a nice old school feel. There is a lot of staff and a number of them speak English. We had a tatami-only room which was quite large and a very large bathroom. The bathtub was constantly running hot water and it was so nice bathing and watching the snow fall. The meals were excellent, flavors not too strong and a great variety of high quality ingredients, fortunate enough to visit during Matsuba crab season and it didn't disappoint. The okami came by our room to say hello at dinner and she is very personable and was always around the guest areas. Location is super easy to walk around town. They provide rain boots for messy weather which was really convenient. The futon setup was very comfortable, however the manufacturer Maruhachi (maruhati) does not deliver outside of Japan. They offer full-service car park. The onsen aren't super fancy but the baths are nice and hot. We didn't visit the other onsens in town cause I'm guessing they'd be crowded. There are a gazillion stairways and winding hallways, can take some time to navigate. I think they're like that to confuse intruders haha. Nice and peaceful at night, slept well but our neighbors were very chatty people and we could hear thru the walls. The Guerlain bathroom amenities are a little strong-smelling for my taste. Overall a very good and enjoyable stay that will be memorable for a while.

Lovely ryokan located within walking distance to most of the onsens in town. It’s located near the rope way/cable car station that takes you to the top of the mountain and all the shops in town. The hotel itself is lovely with a small indoor and outdoor onsen. Lovely evening Kaiseki meals services in your room. They have English speaking staff and a very responsive concierge service. When I realise I was arriving too early to take the town’s complimentary shuttle service, they immediately sent a car to pick us up from the train station. This is within less than five minutes of informing them by email! Highly recommended. PS, if you have bad knees and can’t get up from the floor easily, go to their sister establishment up the street. This is a traditional ryokan where you eat seated on the floor and the room gets converted into a bedroom. Super consumable futons and bedding but getting up can be an issue for those with less nimble knees.

If you are looking for a truly first class experience, this is the place. Quiet, beautiful, attentive staff and a hotel steeped in tradition, you can't match this place for a Japanese ryokan onsen experience.
