Scandic Ishavshotel

The location is definitely great for those activities pick up and drop off location, just 1-5 mins walk, the room size is decent for 3 big suitcases, the view is amazing like a picture with big window with very basic amenities like towels & tissues. The reception normally only 1 person so he/she is always busy during Easter holidays, not sure about the normal days. The breakfast is okay with typical western foods and please do not expect it has the Asian food breakfast selection lol, as it seems like those Asian people get used to the Chinese/ Asian food base and expecting more to fit in their appetizers like my hubby hahaha. They offer the pack to go breakfast for your early morning flight upon request, it has 1 big rough bread cheese & ham sandwich, 1 pear + 1 box of orange juice, remember to drink up the OJ before you pass the security check, otherwise they will help you to throw it away! ;)

The reception is very friendly. The room cleanliness is above average. Best part is the view from my room. The breakfast is nice especially the coffee 👍🏻 there is a shuttle bus direct to the airport but I will suggest to book taxi if more than two people. Overall is above average and recommended 👍🏻

did not enjoy the stay here. it's shown on Google maps as a top-rated 4-star hotel and for the price, we were expecting much more. our overall experience is best summed up by saying that the stay was similar to that of a 3-star hotel in the better end, but not worth its price. we ended up wishing we had tried clarion hotel (our alternative with the same number of stars). firstly, the staff were not friendly or helpful at the reception. we arrived in tromso a few days before our check-in (as we were going on a cruise first), and after confirming our hotel reservation with the reception, we asked if we could leave the luggage for a few hours before our cruise started. the lady serving us just pointed to the baggage area and said it was full and did not offer to help or even suggest any alternatives. from that interaction alone, we already felt that this hotel would not live up to our expectations based on its price and Google reviews when we finally checked in, the reception staff was once again neither friendly nor helpful, although she was more polite than our previous encounter. our room was clean, but small and we struggled to open both our luggages. the tv is old and the picture is poor with no apps such as netflix/disney+/etc., and no option to cast from our computer / mobile device. breakfast was included and was quite decent. but otherwise, everything else was just fair despite being priced at a 4-star hotel range, and hence our impression is that this should have been given a 3-star hotel rating and price

We got the most premium room and the views were amazing, but to be honest, it’s not worth the money you pay and it’s clearly not a 4*. The didn’t do the room one day: ZERO CLEANING SERVICES. I had to go and complain and they told me they couldn’t do anything so they gave me two vouchers of 15€ each to have a drink at the bar ... that’s all. If cleaning it’s important for you, specially with COVID, don’t consider this hotel. Also, masks were mandatory because of the COVID outbreak in Norway at the moment, and even their staff wasn’t using them. It’s ridiculous. Zero safety measures.

訂的風景房｜那扇窗外真的很漂亮，酒店下樓在海邊就能看見極光，早餐也很豐富. 就是酒店真的舊，房間很小，浴室也很小. 去入住可以自備所有用品，看風景還是很推薦. 這周圍這家酒店風景最好. 窗户對着北極大教堂.

位置好，狗拉雪橇的集合地點就在酒店門口，離公交站也不遠，打車去機場200克朗左右 早餐種類豐富，可以坐在窗邊欣賞風景 房間內能看到圖1的美景

每天打開窗簾都感覺自己是幸運的，雪山很美很美，沖一杯熱茶，靜靜的待坐一下午 酒店的早餐很豐富 選擇很多，自家製的麵包真的很好吃，早餐的位置有一大片落地玻璃，早餐伴着雪山，何其寫意，一定會再入住的。(附圖） 酒店大堂和電梯內的溫度提示器真的很貼心👍🏻 如果有改善的空間，希望客房清潔員能夠更細心，總括而言是個不錯的旅居體驗😍🙌🏻
