Très décevant pour un 5 etoiles, l hôtel la maison blanche a perdu son faste d antan.... On arrive sur les étages de chambres sur moquettes non aspirées depuis des mois certainement tellement elles sont sales, on découvre certe une chambre spacieuse ( d'où le critère 5 étoiles) mais qui est vétuste et a besoin de rafraîchissement, la salle de bain est spacieuse mais sans confort et surtout avec des articles de toilettes déjà utilisés.... La literie reste confortable. Le petit déjeuner est un cauchemar....pas digne d un 5 étoiles . Il faut demander pour avoir des viennoiseries, le café il faut racler les fonds de thermos pour en avoir car ils ne rechargent pas, le fromage qui date de on ne sait quand et la charcuterie sèche et déshydratée. Vraiment vivement que les responsables se rendent compte de ce qu est un vrai 5 étoiles et même en Tunisie .... Ouvrez vos yeux!!!

I usually save my reviews for after my stay but would like to advise potential travellers that the outdoor pool is not open and being refurbished at this time. This is not listed on their website. This is a really stylish and boutique hotel located in Medina in Tunis. The building used to be a Palace in the past, so you can feel really special here, rooms are nice, big and decorated, beds are comfortable, breakfast does not offer a very big choice, but everything is fresh and tasty, reception staff is very friendly and helpful, really a great place to stay!

Rooms are very small and very basic, like a jail cell with one very tiny window. Rooms temperature is controlled by the management so they choose if you get air conditioning or not. So when it’s hot outside, your room is very very hot too but when you tell them, they act like it is the first time they are hearing it; don’t be fooled, they know exactly what’s going on. Service in the front desk with the exception of two people is completely non-existent and you have to try very hard to get service and responses. The girl in the front desk with the black hair is usually smoking in the back office and playing on her phone and the restaurant staff have to tell her to come out to serve at the front desk. The other blonde haired girl, her name starts with A, is very mean and rude to most guests Omar and Asma are very nice. Housekeeping is super slow and not organized. Restaurant staff provide no service at all, not even a greeting. If you ask a question, they clearly are not happy to be disturbed from playing on their cellphones. They hide in the corner and gossip all throughout the meal service and play on their phone. It is not walking distance to the Old Town, it’s quite a walk so be very prepared to walk or take a taxi. Use Bolt Taxi and drop the price 3 dinars if you want to negotiate a rate. Airport to hotel from departure area was about 7 dinars but you can get it at about five dinars. Food is horrible at the hotel but they do serve an overpriced breakfast buffet. Outside it is very Sandy and dusty.

The bed is too old 😁😁😁 Its not even comfortable anymore It's like sleeping in the ship 😎 I know it's cheap, but, lucky me only 3 days 😁 But it is clean around old furniture Towels are clean, the shower is good, and there is very strong water,. The reception lady is not friendly, once i asked her for the museum Bardo, she said open, and asked her again, still said open, later i found out, is not open 👹

Hotel is clean and price is suitable But 1- breakfast is so poor not deserve the value paid for it 2- I have been given the room at 8th floor ( with stairs from 7th floor ) the room was like sauna even I checked around mid night 23:45. AC was not helping. It took 3-4 years until it was acceptable but still hot. I guess they should prepare AC in advance for such rooms.

Per gli standard tunisini posso definirlo eccellente, sia per i servizi che per la pulizia. Personale gentile, disponibile, professionale ed il direttore parla anche italiano. Letto enorme e comodissimo, con cuscini fantastici, palestra, ristorante (buono) e terrazzo ampio. Bollitore ed occorrente per the e caffè a disposizione in camera. Colazione ottima, sia salata che dolce e tutto senza limiti di quantità, a buffet. Sicuramente da consigliare. Unica pecca la distanza dalla Medina e dalla cattedrale cattolica (circa 2 km). Comunque come sapete il taxi costa 2€, quindi... Un pò caro però, 80€ a notte in due.

The hotel staff was very nice and kind they assisted in everything. The room is big and all. Comfy bed and good amenities. And the price reasonable and worth. Only slight issue was they were very less staff who could speak English other then all was nice . Pleasant stay .

Le Chambre Bleue was an excellent bed and breakfast located just outside of the Northwestward edge of the Tunis Medina. The owner and his wife were just so incredibly kind to us and really made us feel as part of their family during our stay. Any issues were handled with hast and they were so helpful arranging transportation for us. Beer and wine was available for purchase as well as free bottle water! Will recommend Le Chambre Bleue to our Friends! Breakfast may have been the highlight though, every morning being a little different than the previous. Homemade jams and bread were a highlight!

This hotel is such a great find in Tunis! Not only if the location superb, literally at the entrance to the Medina where shops and food vendors are steps away, but it’s also such a pretty and unique hotel. The decor is gorgeous and the views overlooking the Medina square is great for people watching. Service is great as well! The staff is very helpful. Everything felt very safe as well. I highly recommend this unique stay while in Tunis!
