Well what can I say. It's supposed to be the 4 star hotel. the location is great. The staff working there work very hard and are polite. Breakfast is really good. However the facilities Inside our room are terrible. We had to call the facility twice!!! The plugs in the room only working 1 !!! I think they need to get rewiring. Very dated facility inside the room. They eventually brought us an extension cable. The bed mattress was also terrible. Other than that I liked this hotel but I don't give them 4 stats.

Posizione centrale, perfetta per raggiungere il centro sia a piedi (passeggiata di 20 minuti circa) che con i mezzi. Hotel pulito, abbiamo alloggiato in una stanza al terzo piano con tutto il necessario. Ottima la colazione, con ampia scelta e opzioni sia dolci che salate. Staff cortese e disponibile. Buono il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Uniche pecche, ma che non hanno intaccato la nostra esperienza: getto della doccia debole e stanze poco insonorizzate. L'ultima notte abbiamo tribolato un po' a causa di vicini rumorosi, ma non possiamo penalizzare l'hotel a causa della maleducazione dei suoi ospiti.

We were really pleased with our choice of hotel for a four day break in Turin. Ideally located at the other side of the river it was quiet but easy to get to main tourist areas on foot or nearby bus/ trams etc. The staff were so helpful and friendly , giving us recommendations for local restaurants, phoning for taxis and even allowing us to charge our phones when we returned to collect our suitcases and use toilet etc before leaving for the airport. Rooms were really comfortable with air conditioning and mini fridges. ( would have been helpful to have had a note of cost of bottled water as we didn’t know if it was chargeable or not but it was only one euro so not really a problem) The breakfast buffet was lovely with plenty of choice including cereal, breads, fruit, yogurts, meats, cheese and cake! Although there was no cooked options there was more than enough to choose from. Communication with the hotel was excellent. They even had an electrical adaptor ready for me when I messaged to ask about sockets beforehand. Would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly return if I come back to Turin.

This hotel is extremely well located next to the Porta Nuova station. It is *very* old school and reminds me of travelling in the 80s, but in a good way. The staff is genuine and friendly, and the rooms are cosy with quality linens, though dated.
Americans beware: no AC (at least in my room), so you won’t be able to stay there from March to November.

We stayed here as a couple for two nights stay. We were shocked by how nice our room was at first glance, seemed very modern and had a cool balcony. However we soon noticed that there were loads and loads of ants on the floor, wardrobe, bathroom. We obviously told the staff who, when we went out, said they sprayed everywhere/surface in the room with I presume bug spray. This was fine I suppose apart from the fact that all of this spray will have gone all over all our belongings and our bed, which isn’t great. Some ants remained but they said there was nothing more they could do. The main thing you want in a hotel is for it to be clean (bug-less) so this was a real downer as we darent put anything on the floor or in the wardrobe incase ants got in it! We then got a visit saying we were being too loud when ironically I was writing a review on the last place we stayed whilst my partner showered, so we certainly weren’t being loud, not even speaking. Aircon was very loud, couldn’t keep it on all night as it sounded like a car, but at least it worked. Breakfast was fine, hot food looked horrible but they had yoghurts and juice which sufficed. Very good location!

Hotel situato a fianco della stazione, separato da via Nizza. Si arriva in centro comodamebte a puedi in bemmeno dieci minuti ed è comodo se si arriva in treno, ma la frequentazione della zona di barboni e personaggi dubbi non è certo gradevole. La camera singola molto ampia, ristrutturata, senza moquette, letto poco rigido ma comunque comodo, bottiglia d' acqua di cortesia ma minibar vuoto,balconcino in ferro battuto,scarsa insonorizzazione. La struttura avrebbe bisogno di un restyling, soprattutto i due ascensori, piccoli, lenti e uno col pavimento scricchiolante che dava l'impressione di sfondarsi da un momento all'altro. Personale reception poco empatico. La colazione a €7 andava prenotata possibilmente la sera prima ma l'orario di inizio alle 8 non era compatibile col mio orario di partenza.

We chose Hostellerie du Golf on our 5 day visit to Torino for the tennis ATP Finals. The place is located 15-20 minutes by car from downtown Torino in a small village and is full of charm. An old style rustic hotel with big rooms, pool and lots of green areas serving also as club house for the very technical 9 holes golf cours I Ciliegi (the cherry trees). The hotel has everything you need and all personnel was very nice and welcoming. We aldo played 9 holes, enjoyed the shape of the course and struggled with its very technical design and with thr slopes and hilly shape. It was however very nice! The most pleasant surprise was however the restaurant where we had an excellent truffle based Piemontese specialities, all at a very high gastro level! It was really a gem together with a good selection of local wines. All in all, a very good price -quality ratio and a very good option to explore both Torino and Alba (the worldwide capital of white truffles) for those travelling with or hiring a car.

PPengguna TetamuAn excellent hotel, significant cheaper than the rip off prices in London, good location. 1.70 euro by subway from the centre, but get a multi ticket for a lot less. eg 3 day 10 euro. Stayed 3 nights , unfortunately for me this will probably one of my last stays as a diamond member, this stay will be remembered for that. The Lingotto stop is the better because you can walk through the shopping mall and access the shopping mall direct from the 2nd floor. ( rear lift) . Staff excellent: Only slight negative comment- the restaurant is fairly limited in choice but you would probably eat out so not an issue from our perspective. pricing of the menu though very fair. Good selection for the continental breakfast . Good gym equipment- located on each floor ive never seen that before. if back in Turin this is where we will stay.

PPengguna TetamuWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are really sizeable and offer good value. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were all super friendly(speaking English) and helpful. The hotel is 100 meters from the very efficient subway system which we used to get to the historic centre and to and from dinner - as easiest to avoid trying to find a parking spot in town for the car (the hotel offers free parking). The hotel complex in the old FIAT factory includes a shopping mall, supermarket, the roof race track an art museum and a conference centre.

I must admit I had my concerns. My first impression I had when I saw this place while booking it was that it is some kind of a youth hostel. Yet, I took the chance and booked it. I am glad I found this most welcoming hotel. This is a mixed facility. The first 4 floors are only for university students and the top 2 (5+6) are for hotel guests. The decoration is great, new and maintained greatly. They even installed a new decorative wall paper in our floor even that the walls were in a very good shape. The staff is great, both at the front desk and the Baristas at the open dining area. The lower ground of the hotel is amazing. It has laundry machines and dryers operated by a convenient app provided by the front desk. It has quiet learning area, a gym, cooking stations, table tennis, pool table and a large screen to project your movies. Breakfast is very basic, yet, the coffee is great. The rooms terraces face the interior yard in which students may gather and have some fun. Don't mistake, it is fun, not extra noise or anything like it.

However it's a little bit strange that the balcony is connected with other rooms. Staffs were welcoming and there's a great variety of Italian and European breakfasts.

PPengguna TetamuThis is hotel really lives up to its 4 stars, and it’s such good value for money. It’s situated right next to the cathedral and is easy walking distance of everything. The architecture is stunning. The receptionist was charming, and made every effort to accommodate us, especially as my husband has a disability. Access and parking were easy. The rooms are well equipped with different glasses, cups, kettle, Lavazza coffee machine (this is Turin) , well stocked mini bar, fluffy towels, very comfy bed. The bar is pleasant and there is an atrium garden for when it’s warmer. Our dinner in the restaurant was interesting: it’s modern Italian cooking, but good and reasonably priced. If you want traditional Piedmontese food there is a square around the corner with multiple bars and restaurants. At our request the receptionist arranged a private car tour of Turin because my husband cannot walk very far. All done with efficiency and charm. We can’t rate this hotel highly enough.

PPengguna TetamuI stayed at this hotel for four nights, conveniently located near the Polytechnic. The room, all services and breakfast were all of a high standard. The room temperature was set at 21 deg C (high coming from UK winter) which I changed daily to something lower, when I remembered to do so. As a result, I used the minibar for two tins of lemonade as became very thirsty. I realised there would be a charge but I could find no information as to what this would be. I suggest that at 5 Euro per tin (on an honesty basis) this charge is far too high a markup ie half this would have been acceptable. So I downgrade my rating from 5 star to 4 star.

I stayed at this hotel for a week in June, and the customer service really stands out from the rest. The staff is available and equally positive regardless of the time of day. I was a little unlucky with the AC in my room and had to change rooms initially, but the AC still didn't work there. A girl from the front desk came over several times and stayed until she made sure the problem was solved. On our early morning flight home, the receptionist on occasion helped us with a taxi during the night. He made sure we got coffee and breakfast to take away, even though we only had a few minutes before the taxi arrived. They helped us a lot with great advices for restaurants nearby as well. I highly recommend this hotel.

PPengguna TetamuAl telefono Francesco mi ha convinta per la sua gentilezza, così tra i diversi alberghi, piuttosto economici con il posto macchina, ho scelto questo!! Il rapporto qualità, pulizia/ prezzo è eccellente… dovevamo fermarci una sola notte a Torino, ci serviva un posto comodo e sopratutto poter mettere l’auto in un posto sicuro. La camera era pulita, così come il bagno, il letto molto comodo, il posto tranquillo e silenzioso. La sera abbiamo fatto una bella camminata per andare in centro (circa 3km), dopo cena un rapido giro sotto i portici, a piazza castello e nei dintorni del palazzo reale, quinti diamo tornati in camera ed abbiamo dormito molto bene. La colazione a buffet offre un’ampia scelta, io ho trovato tutto di mio gradimento, molto più di quanto ci si può aspettare con un prezzo così modesto!! L’unico piccolo consiglio che mi sento di scrivere: verificate e pulite dal calcare il soffione della doccia, affinché l’acqua possa scorrere liberamente e permettere all’ospite di sciacquarsi facilmente! Grazie a Francesco ed alla barman molto carina che ci ha preparato i cappuccini!!

Very good. It is very clean and tidy, although the equipment is a little bit old, which is acceptable. It is near the train station. It took us only about 2 min to walk there. The staff are very friendly. I will choose to stay at the same hotel if I go to Turin again in the future.
