Spent a week here with my friends. We got in quite late and were immediately welcomed to a quick check in. They even allowed us to go to the dining room and get a plate of cold cuts (bread, cheese, meats, olives) before we went to bed, which was most welcome after a long day traveling. Room was lovely. But excessive warm, so we left the windows open all the time. Housekeeping was great, room was always clean and pretty, and there is a turn down service that leaves you chocolates and freshens up the room and turns on certain lights so its welcoming when you come back. Hotel decor warm and inviting. They have a really nice spa which I spent a lot of time in. Maybe its because I'm American, but I didn't really know how to use the saunas, and I felt there wasn't any instruction. Luckily, when I got a spa treatment (a great massage!) from Sara, she took the time to give me a little tour and explain to me how it worked. (There is a system of going to a particular sauna to start and then taking a quick cold rinse shower, and then the second sauna, and another cold rinse shower, and the third sauna, and then followed by pool and jacuzzi). Sara is a great representative for the spa! (Had a treatment from another masseuse, and didn't not enjoy that as much, she was a bit rude and like she did not have the time to deal with me. I checked in a half hour early for the appointment with the front desk and just let them know I was here when they were ready and I'd be reading in the chair fifteen feet away. She came and got me and said we needed to get started if we were to get everything on time...why tell me that when I was super on time?, there was also other little things that did not make it a great session). I really liked that the spa had lots of comfortable seating where you could read and look out into the pretty snowy mountains. I was able to get through two books during my stay here. The concierge desk was extremely welcoming and the snow concierge arranged for me to go sledding. He personally took us and made arrangements with the business and told me how to sled and waited while we went up on snowmobiles and down on sleds. He was very kind and proactive about making arrangements when I brought it up to him, calling the business to make sure the conditions were right and finding in me in the restaurant. It was a great experience. They also handled the ski rental vouchers for my friend and you can buy your ski passes from the front desk, no hassle. . The ski rental place is really really close. And we were able to rent and leave it all in the ski room. We had our own bin with our room number on it, so it made it super convenient to just grab our skis anytime we wanted to go out. My friend arranged for a ski instructor to do a private group lesson for 4 of us during our first few days, and it was a great experience. He met us at the hotel and worked with us all day, came in during lunch and took us a
