Hotel terbaik di Unawatuna

Красивая вилла, месторасположение супер, рядом с главной улицей, но из звуков только природа… много живности: обезьяны, павлины, попугаи, вараны в речке, один раз видели змею на территории и много бурундуков. Уборка раз в два дня, убираются хорошо, даже слишком( после переезда в другой отель обнаружили, что пропали некоторые вещи- одежда) , возможно хозяйка не знает и воруют уборщики, будьте бдительны!

This place took me by surprise. Leaving the loud main road, you wind up briefly to a perfectly serene, quiet retreat, staffed by some of the most kind and genuinely invested human beings I’ve ever met. Our rooms were great, wifi worked without a problem, and there was never any power outage. The kitchen is what really got me, though. I normally don’t eat much at hotels, seeking more local experiences outside. But during my three days in Unawatuna I did not once eat anywhere other than Thambapanni. The food here is nothing short of divine. Margarita pizza better than I’ve had anywhere, sautéed Tuna that redefined how fish could be prepared for me, hell even the base salad was masterfully seasoned and actually full of flavor. I actually got to know the chef, Lionel, just to thank him for his effort and the clear attentiveness and knowledge he brings to his craft. The waitstaff was also very helpful. Deshan in particular was so helpful, ever attentive without being obtrusive. At one point he even offered to bike into town to get some antihistamines for my wife, who was suffering an allergic reaction at the time. And the owner, Alex, even took me and my wife on a tour of his farm! This was the other secret to why their food is so amazing—aside from Lionel’s experience and professionalism, they locally source their ingredients! Alex showed us where they grow cinnamon, coconuts, bananas, and the chickens, so full and contented. Everything about this place was clearly the product of dedication and love, from the field to your plate. When we had to leave, my wife and I actually felt sad to go. And the receptionist at the front desk, having noticed my wife photographing flowers, actually made her an adorable little flower keychain from folded ribbons. Delightful location, unbelievably good food, kind and genuinely invested staff, 5/5 would do it again.

We stayed here for 10 nights and had a great experience. What a lovely little Hotel, with excellent staff, a special mention to Kevin and also Beauntie (sorry if spelt wrong )they saw to all our needs Kevin is a gem . All the staff were great, always smiling and happy to say hello when they met you daily. The guy that seen to the beach beds was great. also he always managed to find you a great spot on the beach. Not forgetting the guy that seen to my pre-bed cocktails each night. We had a superior room looking out towards the beach on the ground floor. It was lovely . Any small Repairs that had to be seen to there was no wait involved. After reporting the issues to reception , the lady on reception was very helpful and accommodating. We particularly enjoyed barbecue night which was on a Friday. The food was amazing. Breakfast was also good too You would never leave hungry. The seafood was lovely also. You could use the pool at the other hotel just ask reception and they will send a buggy for you. It will take you there and back free. The only downsides I would mention is the taxi that took us to the airport the driver was falling asleep and had to stop to get a wash and a coffee we had still an hour and a half to go he just left us sitting in the car but this was not the hotels fault, it was scary as he was texting and eating and was all over the road when he continued, not the fault of the hotel . Also, the loud music from the hotels on each side of ours was horrendous so loud. This was out of our hotels control. Unfortunately one morning it went on till 4.30am the morning mostly 2 am at the earliest once again, not our hotels fault . The only other problem we had was the security guard nightwatchman asked us for money on several occasions, we tipped most of the staff but never gave him anything as it’s not good to ask. Sri Lanka is a lovely place and the Hotel we stayed in was amazing in every way , it’s just a shame that the area has been taken over by a lot of tourists from one county in particular 80-90% which is such a shame hardly anyone from the UK .

Персонал лучший, во всем помогут(вызвать тук-тук, решить вопрос, подсказать что-то), официанты вау (Chaminda❤️), повара прекрасно готовят, все очень вкусно, уборка номеров супер🙌🏼 Виды и расположение шикарные, пешком можно дойти до 3 пляжей, бесплатно подвезут от отеля до самого любимого Jangle beach, очень близко улица с ресторанами и магазинчиками, но в то же время вы находитесь в природе🌱 Бурундучки, обезьяны, мангусты, игуаны, но можно не переживать, они не переходят ваши личные границы 😁 Отель небольшой и это очень комфортно, для вас всегда везде будет место🙌🏼 Мы обязательно туда вернемся и всем советую, чтоб вы тоже побывали в раю✨ Еще раз большое спасибо персоналу, вы чудесные 🥰 (Chaminda❤️, Kavinga❤️, Sandaka❤️, Ranjith❤️)

It's hard to know where to start with this review. From the moment we booked the general manager sent me a personalised message. We arrived greeted by a refreshing cold towel and a tour of this beautiful hotel. We booked the grand suite for 8 nights and 9n entering it exceeded my expectations. The room is huge tastefully decorated spotlessly clean. The bathroom is beautiful and there is even a small kitchen area. The veranda overlooking the pool was a gret place to have our morning coffee. The grounds make you feel like you are in a tropical rain forest and the pool and separate jacuzzi are lovely. Breakfast was a delight and they adapted every morning to our tastes. All of the staff are amazing and friendly. And the general manager is so lovely greeting us personally every morning asking about our stay and if there is anything they can do for us. All the staff were a credit to this beautiful place. Ps the private beach is stunning feels like your on a tropical island. I wish our stay was not ending tomorrow. Would not hesitate to come back. Loved the architecture of the place and its attitude towards the environment. The hotel is also in very close proximity to the Unawatuna beach and has many restaurants and boutiques around it. By the ingenuity of design the hotel makes a hidden paradise in the middle of the city. Rooms are well appointed and are very peaceful compared to most Unawatuna hotels. We had breakfast from the hotel which was fresh and delicious. Ideal base for Unawatuna! ***an is a great host and runs the place beautifully.

A little gem of a hotel, close to Unawatuna and Galle and within walking distance of Jungle Beach. Super-friendly staff always greeting you with a smile, large rooms, cosy pool area with sun beds in the shade. Lovely breakfast and good dinners. Only minus was long waiting times at dinner - maybe time for a smaller menu? We’ll definitely recommend this hotel!

We can not say enough good things about our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive to details. We arrived at 3:00am and the hotel had prepared some fruit and sandwiches for our arrival. My wife is celiac and the staff did an amazing job ensuring there were food options available for her. They even prepared traditional Sri Lankan food for us to try. The beach club gets very busy during the day but we still felt like the only guests there. This place has a great island vibe with music and different entertainment daily. We will definitely be returning before the end of our trip.

This hotel was really excellent! From the front desk staff who is always smiling and accommodated a last minute extra night with ease, to the bartenders, especially Jerry, who made us feel right at home. The wifi works great. The restaurant and staff was perfect. They accommodated our requests for additional helpings and sharing plates without skipping a beat. The views are gorgeous of the sea. Everything very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. Spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms, effective aircon & good WiFi. Superb location for the beach and all the shops and restaurants in Unawatuna. The family that run the guest house go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the guests enjoy their stay. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the Sri Lankan breakfast is an absolute delight. Complimentary tea and biscuits on arrival and complimentary tea, pancakes and home made Christmas cake on Christmas day. Lovely, genuine people who want you to enjoy your stay.
