Elite hotels are great. Personal, alongside what is clearly a corporate offer. This one is no different - scrupulously clean, great staff, and a stylish, distinctive buildingl. Everything is good - breakfast is excellent, the room clean and well put together. The bed is comfortable, very quiet at night. It is a pleasure to stay at the Elite Academia, and the staff are brilliant at helping however they can. A few things could be improved. A 'pillow menu' is good. But at both this and anohter Elite i stayed at this summer in Sweden, it meant staff scrabbling around to find a couple of pretty ropey old hard pillows. Pillows in Sweden are soft, thin and squishy. A pillow menu needs choice - proper firm pillows. For two nights from 8pm to 10.30/11pm there was a very loud band playing downstairs. i was on the 4th floor and it was intrusive. It must have been even worse for anyone with kids or any general users of the downstairs areas. The room was very dark facing into a courtyard. The windows didn't open, and faced offices and other hotel rooms. I had to have the light on all the time despite it being sunny outside. Parking. At 25 quid a night, the hotel was not helpful. Luckily, after a lot of searching, i found a place to leave it down a backstreet overnight. A local multi storey car parks had parking from 6pm to 9am for the equivalent of £3. The parking price at the hotel is far too much. I did enjoy my stay at the Academia, and will use Elite again, wherever I go in Sweden.

The lobby and the restaurant are going through some well deserved work! I’m looking forward to staying with you again…and will be hopeful for the time when you have rebuilt the rooms as well! Breakfast was bit of a mess since the re-build was ongoing but the food stuffs were pretty fresh and I was missing only the waffle maker!

a pet friendly hotel, need to pay 350kr for special cleansing fee, but you’ll get two pet snacks and a pet bed which if so thoughtful.

Vi hade bokat ett litet dubbelrum och vår förväntan på rummet kanske inte var på topp. Men redan när vi kom in i receptionen anade vi att ”wow” här är det fint. Vi checkade in av en vänlig receptionist. Tilldelat rum var - ok - litet men riktigt fint. Verkar vara nyrenoverat. Perfekt storlek för ett par som gillar närhet. Frukost rummet är väl tilltaget och disposition gör att man får en fin familjär känsla. Utöver detta serveras en mycket väl genomtänkt frukost. Vi rekommenderar hotellet av ovanstående skäl parat med ett perfekt läge med sin närhet till Uppsala Centralstation.
