Very nice stay at Hampton Inn in Orem Utah. Friendly and helpful staff especially Ashley went the extra mile to be helpful. Great location, we enjoyed the new Thai restaurant a block away, the golden coral is also good. We enjoyed the nice clean room, breakfast area and work out room.

We had so many conflicting experiences with this hotel... We stayed here about 6 years ago and it was great. This time, mostly disappointing. We stayed here for a week - this time not for a wedding, but for a funeral. Check-in was fine and the room seemed good... until we raised the toilet lid and discovered that it had not been cleaned and in fact, was coated with what looked like the previous guest's diarrhea. We were exhausted from our drive, so didn't ask for it to be cleaned until the following morning (I know... gross). When I went to ask the front desk to have housekeeping clean it, the front desk person said ”I don't clean toilets”... as if I was asking HER to go up and clean the toilet. I responded ”ummm you look like a front desk person... maybe ask housekeeping to clean it??” Also that morning, our room started to smell like diesel exhaust. The source was some dude outside (we were on the 2nd floor) our window, letting his huge, backed in truck idle for at least 30 minutes, while the exhaust was pointed at the building. We were leaving at that point and hoped that the room would air out by the time we returned (which it did). While the guy's truck was idling, I noticed the hotel manager standing there for about 15 minutes, chatting with the guy (this fact will come up later). When we returned that evening the toilet had been scrubbed thoroughly, thank goodness. Next morning, once again, the room filled up with diesel exhaust from the truck parked below our window. My husband decided to go talk to the front desk about it. He talked to the manager, who basically treated him like he was delusional... that there is no truck idling below our window. When we left, I pointed out the manager and asked my husband if that was the person he had talked to about the truck, to which my husband replied ”yes”. I then told him ”that guy was talking (standing next the the truck while it idled) to the truck owner yesterday for at least 15 minutes... he knows that the truck was sitting there, pouring exhaust towards the building”. So basically, the manager lied to my husband. The hotel wasn't automatically sending housekeeping in to clean stay-over rooms, citing Covid as their reason. (you could get your room cleaned if you asked). I understand this, but if you're going to cite Covid to not do something that you normally do, maybe ask your staff to wear masks? During the entire week we were there, we saw only one staff member wearing a mask. Now for the good stuff: the breakfast staff was great. Very friendly and diligent to keep the area clean and stocked. The lobby was kept clean (even with some snow being tracked in) and tidy at all times. The hotel is very conveniently located by the I-15 and yes, the state liquor store. I had misplaced a necklace and thought that maybe I had left it in the room. When my husband called to ask if someone could go look for it, the front desk person was very helpful and kind, going up to the room

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel gave me mixed feelings. I'll lay out the pro's and con's. Pro's: The breakfast was decent. It was nice to have a coke machine at breakfast. But the food options did seem very limited. I appreciated the greek yogurt and fruit option. That was what I ate both mornings of our stay. It was conveniently located off the freeway, close to Cabela's and an outlet mall was nearby. The main guest bed was comfortable. The small kitchenette was well stocked. Cons: The lights in the bathroom are hooked to the lights in the kitchen. This is the strangest thing ever. If you turn off the kitchen master, you turn off the bathroom lights. We didn't know this until our daughter was in the shower and the lights went off on her mid-shower. They REALLY need to fix this. It's an accident waiting to happen. The bathroom door lock was incredibly hard to use and resulted in slamming the door at each use. You'll know what I mean if you go. We practically had to beg for towels. They only gave us three in a four person room, then insisted we bring our own towels down to the lobby to exchange them for clean dry towels. Speaking of towels, they never had any of the hand-towel sized towels available at the pool. We had to beg for those too, every time we went to the pool. We pulled out the sofa bed and it was clearly not changed from the previous guest. Unacceptable anytime, much less during the pandemic. There was popcorn on and under the sheets on the pull out bed. GROSS. Overall, they need to pay more attention to the cleanliness and fix their issues with the rooms. I probably would not stay here again because of those reasons, but it wasn't a terrible stay.

PPengguna TetamuPleasant Grove (which is basically a Salt Lake City suburb) is not the sleepy little place you might imagine. Expansion of the SLC area means non-stop crazy traffic just about everywhere within 50 miles. Hyatt House, though, provided a place of calm, quiet, restful respite from the outside world. The hotel is easy to find, with great access to the I-15 freeway and lots of dining and shopping options . The room we were in was spacious, clean and modern, with excellent lighting, a big TV with good channel selection, and a shower with great water pressure and plenty of hot water (no tub). The one drawback was the location of the toilet paper roll in the bathroom, which allowed little maneuverability to reach the tissue. (We just removed it from the holder and kept it on the counter instead.) Staff was pleasant and very helpful.

PPengguna TetamuWe booked this hotel while driving there, asked for a pet room, and were pleasantly surprised by what a nice room we got. Probably the cleanest pet room we have ever been in. (Note: the standard pet fee was disclosed at booking and was fair.) The location was fine - right off the highway in a roundabout kind of way - and yet quiet. Many restaurants were close by. Our room was clean, with a desk and desk chair, couch, chair, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, wet bar, and plenty of storage. If you plan to work at the desk, bring an extension cord. There was no electrical outlet, and as a result the desk lamp wasn't plugged in. The A/C system was efficient and effective. Breakfast was great - all the standard Holiday Inn Express options like cinnamon rolls (the best anywhere), eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, cereals, yogurts, breads, coffee, juice, and milk. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again.

SStevenHotel is great lobby is outstanding maintenance is good could use a helping hand you love your lobby in the hallways are quick to your room. Three different entrances bet is to die for bathrooms or huge rooms. Is there a Suites? It feels like I should’ve paid 150 for it, but with trip I got a great deal breakfast was excellent both days staff was friendly and accommodating front desk was outstanding. Everything was ready to go when I got there and check out is at noon, so no need for late check out if you’re in Provo, stay in South Provo at this hotel, he will not be disappointed.

NNick HoltAmazing place to stay! It exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be coming back to stay again someday. The service, the always HOT Coffee and the Breakfast is Bomb!!!. I recommend this La Quinta Inn in Orem, Utah to anyone looking for a place to stay. Rodney, the gentleman that checked me in on Saturday night was a true professional and he even went out of his way to tell me about the surrounding area, so I was well equipped with knowledge of everything that was in the area. He had a great attitude and it was like 1230am.
Thank you La Quinta Inn in Orem, Utah. I will be back!
