A wonderful stay at this superb 5 Star hotel in the heart of the beautiful city of Utrecht. The wonderful Koen van der Berg and the team are the epitome of excellent customer services and high standards. This is my 4th visit and it won’t be my last. From the well appointed rooms and beautiful grounds to the excellent facilities, this has to be one of my favourite hotels. The Michelin Star Karel 5 Restaurant is simply sublime and an experience not to be missed. A culinary masterpiece awaits that scintillates the tastebuds and reveals delightful experiences in every bite. Chef Leon & his team bring theatre to the table. The passion and knowledge of the team ensures diners are captivated from the start of the performance. The star of the show is the ingredients and how they have been elevated into works of art and brought to life with classic, delicate finishes. I enjoyed every dish that was served on the meat & fish free set menu. Each one championing to be my favourite, only to push me into a quandary to decide which was the most memorable. A truly exceptional experience that embodies passion and excellence.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton. The location is everything! It's right outside the train station and inside the mall. There are plenty of eating and shopping options. The neighborhood is walkable with lots to see.

Nice hotel, decent rates, good bathroom, but really just lacking in information. First off, the hotel is in a mall, and there’s no indication of which doors are open after the mall closes and which aren’t. Google Maps is unaware of that, so if you’re relying on that or a similar service to get you back to the hotel, be aware that will not work, and employees will not provide you with useful information about this unless you ask. For the record, I eventually managed to enter via Catharinje Esplanade. Second, maybe it’s because I visited on a holiday, but there was no front desk or room service late at night, which would be totally fine IF that communication were provided. But there was no indication whatsoever that the supposedly 24 hour room service was not actually 24 hours. Again, certainly don’t begrudge employees a night off. But *management* needs to do a much better job communicating what services are or are not available and when. Don’t promise something your employees can’t deliver. If management would just set realistic expectations and provide a little more useful information, this would be a nice hotel.

We stayed in this hotel with friends. The hotel is right in the walking area at the city center with lots of shopping and dining options. The rooms are in good size but needs renovation as it smells humidity. The car parking is not available at the hotel as it is a restricted area but they offer parking at a garage which is 10-15 minute walking distance. The front desk is friendly and responsive for any assistance needed. I am not sure if there is any better alternative but this is still an acceptable option.

The location is close to Utrecht Central station where are lot of bars and restaurants, as well as a big shopping mall nearby. Staff are friendly and helpful, but the locker may not fit a big luggage and you may need to rent one. The bed is comfortable and clean. Note: even you paid hotel fee on trip.com, you still need to pay tax for the hotel

這個酒店也太好了吧，就在烏特勒支中央火車站的下麪，從窗口往下看就是火車軌道，到進站口四五分鐘吧，上麪就有一個很大的購物商城，下麪就是一個很大的自行車停車場🅿️樓下就是地鐵站，打車很貴，公共交通方便，在繁華地段感覺也很安全。 設施很新，是設計酒店的feel，還有頂層游泳池和健身房，還有桑拿房真的很不錯，兩種可以選擇，很多年輕情侶或者夫妻來這裏度假，游泳池居然5對情侶，剩下我跟幾個人小朋友。 到老城區很近，附近很多教堂，和老建築，附近也有大學，周邊也很多吃飯和喝酒的小酒館，比火車站出站口廣場站要便宜很多。不趕時間可以到老城區吃，很多本地人在那邊吃飯喝酒。 有一點我非常不喜歡就是退房時間11點有點兒早，11:15分左右你還沒下去退房，前台必來電催促，這點有點兒煩，再過幾分鐘又來電催。 早餐還蠻貴的，早上臨時購買19歐，入住時購買16歐，入住額外需要支付當地的稅費4歐元左右。

2.5 ⭐ Although location and style of the Stayokay Hostel is great, there are a lot improvements that need to be made. I booked a 2-Person Comfort Room for 4 nights. When I went to check-in, there was clearly some confusion when the staff requested for my passport for identification purposes as it took a long time to find my booking. Once we were given our key-cards to enter our room, we noticed that the room we were given was for 4 people. This room in particular was fully based inside the building, if you opened the curtain you would just see the hallway. Maybe it is just the style of the hostel, but this was not for me, I was expecting an outside view as I had paid extra for a 2-Person Comfort Room. To double check, I went down to reception to confirm if the room we had been given was actually intended for me and not for someone else for 4 people. I was confirmed that this was in fact my room. A few hours later, we had received a notice that there was signs that I had not actually paid for my room, I went to reception and provided them all the necessary documentation that I had in fact had a booking and fully paid in advance. Upon returning back to the hostel after a day of touring, I was stopped by a staff to speak to a manager. There had seem to be some mix-up which I was actually given another room for a person with the same surname as myself. Due to this situation, we were told that we were going to get given our actual intended room, but this would require us to stay over the room we had been given for the night, re-pack our belongings, check-out; and then re-check back into our room. Althought annoyed by the inconvenience now, I appreciate the staff was trying to remediate what they could do. Staying in the first room we had been given was difficult to sleep in. Although I expect their to be noise if your in a shared room, I did not realise the amount of noise I would hear outside of the room. There was a lot of kids running around screaming which made it difficult to sleep. It clearly shows that these rooms aren't very soundproof for external noise. The next day after we had checked-out, we returned back to the hostel to check-in to our new room. The new key-card we were given did not even work on our room and the elevator; this was also the same situation with the room next to us. At this point, my time at Stayokay was just becoming a nuisance now. Finally once we got access to our intended room, it was a clear better experience but there was two signs of uncleanliness I was very put off from. The ceiling and lights had a thick layer of dust, it was clear that the room had not been properly deep cleaned; when I informed the staff they said they would sort it when we get back. Upon returning to the room, they did attempt to remove the thick layer of dust from the ceiling but did not bother with the lamp shade (Refer to pictures). Hotel DeBlend is located across from the headquarters of Douwe egberts in a semi-industrial area of town, but was very quiet and very convenient. The air conditioning is a terrible inconvenience just like it appears to be in every other European hotel except for the hunfelt. You are not actually in control of the temperature of your room it just makes it a little more cool for a little more warm. You don't have any real control. We found it got a bit warm at night. It is a primarily self-service hotel, but the instances where we required human assistance, the staff were very kind and accommodating. The kitchen is very convenient feature for anyone staying more than a few days. We highly recommend 2L DeBlend.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our 2-day stay at this hotel. The 3 person room was spacious and well equipped. We were very positively surprised by the beautiful canal that our room was facing. The view of the canal from the indoor pool was also idyllic and very relaxing. We loved the outdoor terrace and the family of ducks. Drawbacks: The glass door in the bathroom has no lock and provides little privacy. Better charging facilities for devices should be available in the rooms.

Utrecht is not cheap especially hotels near the centraal and old town,but Ibis which is locateda few minutes from centraal offer nice room and good price. Once you arrive at Utrecht Centraal, take bus number 5 from platform D. The hotel is just two stops from Centraal. As this hotel located beside a big road,then some rooms will experience traffic noise,but the noise insulation is quite good except we open the window for some fresh air. The lobby is nice, not too many sitting area, beside the lobby is a huge breakfast room. Surrounding hotel no restaurants or minimarket,so be prepared if you want to return hotel. The breakfast was very good and nice. Enjoy the hot meals and good coffee. Absolutely will return to stay at Ibis Utrecht, location and price make it all.
