Our recent stay at the Hampton by Hilton Vadodara-Alkapuri hotel fell short of expectations, lacking the hallmark quality we associated with the Hilton brand. Firstly, the condition of the towels provided was disappointing, with evident signs of wear and tear that should have prompted their replacement long ago. The breakfast and dinner provided was average, with issues concerning both the quality of the food and its temperature (had to send noodles back twice because they were only lukewarm). Also, some issues with basic food hygiene - one of the dinner staff members, to our amazement, used his bare hands to nudge some noodles back into the pot it came in when he placed it on our table! Additionally, the cleanliness of the dining area left much to be desired, tables were not promptly cleared compromising hygiene standards. This was even when they were not busy – it was empty! In conclusion, our stay at the Hampton by Hilton Vadodara-Alkapuri did not meet the expected standards associated with the Hilton brand. If this is their accepted standard for this class of hotel, we won’t be staying at their hotels again. With improvements needed in various areas, it's challenging to recommend this hotel if you want a pleasant stay.
