Vallettastay Classic Apartments

I am not sure if I’m writing about the same company. I booked through united airlines hotels. The apartment looks absolutely nothing like any of the photos in the pictures. The apartment was on Melita Street. Two floor walk up but to then get to the upper bedroom was a very narrow like crows nest climb. Top unit had a tub but no shower. Nice view. The WiFi did not reach the upstairs. It was clean and decent. Just felt bait and switch on the pictures.

Where do I start: Kitchen sink unusable due to leak, and flooding the floor. Sofa bed broken resulting in a 22 year old man sleeping on a child’s “put up bed” Towels provided for 3 people not 4. Toilet not flushing. No hot water in the bathroom. Kitchen sink and towel issue was sorted on day 3 of a 5 day stay. The maintenance man also advised that he was aware the sofa bed was broken, strange that VBL Group weren’t aware of this when we reported it! Another maintenance man visited on day 4 to fix the lack of hot water in the bathroom and said that it would take a while for the water to heat. Four adults having to use the kitchen sink to wash. Guess what the water never did heat, unable to use the bathroom for showers etc for 2 days out of a 5 day stay! Valletta is a beautiful place, do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs. No response from VBL Group!
