This was perfectly adequate for my one night stay prior to a cruise. The location is easily accessible from the train from the airport and less than a mile from the cruise terminal. It is no frills but clean. I had a shared bathroom which was a concern but it was fine. You share the bathroom with another room and you will hear them in there but, again, it was one night. There was a sink in the room which was good as you didn't need the bathroom for basic teeth brushing, etc. If I was doing an overnight in Vancouver again, I'd go back.

The hotel is in a inconvenient location. To get there without a car, you have to go to Aberdeen Station and transfer by 610 Bus. The most important thing is, the bus never arrives on time. So just grab an uber. Other than that, everything is pefect. Frequent shuttle to airport.

The position is wonderful. You can easily get the access to Canada line and go anywhere; last but not least, the airport is just nearby. The service is also great. Nice hotel to give a try.

Thank you for the opportunity to describe my Inn at the Quay experience. I was booked for a day procedure at Royal Columbian Hospital at 6:00AM on Saturday May 20. Because I was travelling from out of town and had to be driven home (as a requirement of the procedure) I elected to travel by train to Vancouver and then New Westminster on the day before, Friday. On Tuesday May 16 I booked a room at your hotel for the night of the night of Friday May 19 for $389.00 ex-taxes. My plan was to take a cab to the Hospital and then my daughter was then going to drive to town to pick me up and drive me home after the procedure on Saturday. After travelling to New Westminster I had time to kill because I called the Inn at the Quay to see if I could get an early check in but was told that you were very busy and that was not possible. The hospital recommends attending with only your care card for security reasons. For this reason I had my BC Care Card and the credit card I used to book the room in my cellular phone case. During my wanders I lost my phone. Fortunately I had a significant amount of cash so I got a cab immediately and attended at your hotel. I explained my situation to the clerk on the desk and she said that she could not check me in without the credit card I used to book the room. I asked her if you would charge that card with the room price if I had not shown up and she agreed that that was the case. When I asked if she could just charge the card and let me stay she said that the situation was different and was against your policy. I questioned her further and she summoned a person form the back office who agreed that the situation was completely different and actually said “Sorry, we can’t help you.” When I suggested cancelling the credit card transaction and paying in cash that suggestion was also turned down. Reason was lost on these two minions that are trained to be slavishly obedient to your rules and policies. I am sure that if you question these two they will agree that I was polite and courteous throughout our encounter. After several attempts at circumventing their indifference I felt that I should leave before I started to get mad. As a competent, attentive and businesslike hotelier I am sure you are aware of the saturation in your market on any given day. If you harken back to May 19 you will recall that all of the other hotels in New Westminster and as far as Port Coquitlam were completely booked. No matter, I was able to avail myself of a comfortable chair in the admitting lobby of the Royal Columbian Hospital from 4:00PM on Friday until 6:00AM the following morning. Except of course when I had to leave the admitting lobby while the janitors polished the floors. Because the Emergency Room lobby was full I was able to meet some of the interesting local street residents that were outside at 2:30AM. The room it self was great and the views and location is also great. The only bad thing was the gym and one of the staff in the breakfast area. Im not gonna mention her name but she really liked bossing around and shush people :)

Staying for 3 nights. Staff lovely, room fantastic and location perfect, just on the edge of wonderful hiking areas as well as downtown Vancouver. Bar, restaurant, liquor store and general store on or next to the site. Great hotel. Would 100% recommend.

We can see the hotel is clean and smell fresh once inside the lobby. The hallway carpet and walls looks very clean and indeed the interior of the unit is clean. Overall a full mark rating for the hotel.

The Hyatt was amazing with great service from the moment we walked in the door. We were able to leave our luggage while we waited for our room so we could explore the city. They were wonderful and cleaning our dirty towels and changing beds each day, the outdoor pool and hot tub were a welcome site after long days of walking. The only downside was the lack of restaurant access. 1 restaurant is barely open and the other is so high priced and doesn't deliver to your room. Thankfully Skip the Dishes was an option. Starbucks right in the lobby, can't go wrong with that!!

Stayed at this hotel to be close to a wedding that we were attending at UBC. Perfect location with great restaurants around. Although close to the hospital, we did not hear any noises overnight. The free breakfast buffet that came with our stay was also a great bonus ! This is my second holiday inn vancouver centre stay after my first stay in 2018 for a business trip, and I overall really enjoy the hotel!
