It’s a stunning hotel, right on the Ganges, expensive but stunning. But here’s a few tips. Get an Uber from the airport, it’s 4x cheaper than if the hotel arranges a car. Get there before 6pm and you will be collected by boat from nearby ghat and taken to hotel. Otherwise it’s a taxi to nearby and you walk or get tuc tuc with staff, as streets too narrow for anything else. The hotel offers a free boat trip to watch Arti from river ( right next door) but lots of engine fumes as loads of boats with pilgrims, wrestling for best place, and all revving engines. The hotel is amazing though, with displays, talks, dance on in the hotel, in the evening. Great views from roof terrace and outside seating areas. Watch out for monkeys on windowsills.

Our large group were met with a refreshing welcoming drink after our long train journey from New Delhi. The rooms were spacious with tea/coffee facilities, in room safe, free bottled water and free wifi. The buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner were all flavoursome and well presented. Although the pool was on the small side the area was a nice quiet spot to enjoy a drink or snack. There was a choice of bars for an evening drink and the river Ganges is a half hour ride away (depending on traffic). A 10 minute walk from the hotel is a large shopping centre with all western brands and a large choice of dining opportunities. One small downside is the size of the lifts which could be busy at times.

（良いところ） ロビーが綺麗で素晴らしい スタッフの対応、身なり、サービスが良い 15時チェックインのところ12時に行っても普通にチェックインできた レストランが綺麗 ベッドがふかふかで寝やすい ラウンドリーサービス良し プールはそれなりに綺麗。泳げないレベルではない。 朝ごはんビュッフェのメニューが毎日？変わる。2泊したけど変わってて良かった。 （悪いところ） 友人のイヤホンが部屋で失くなったが見つからなかった。チェックアウト後2時間程度なのに… ドライヤーが古い 日中は工事の騒音が酷い 時々停電する（1分くらいで復旧するが頻度が高い…） ホテル内施設（屋上、ラウンジなど）所々行き届いていないところがある 全体的に古く、寂れている感じがある。 窓からの景色がよくない（周りの廃墟など） 朝ごはんのパンがマズい（クロワッサン、ドーナツなど）改善すべき。

We had a fantastic stay at Taj Ganges Varanasi ! The entire team of Taj Ganges Varanasi service were just too good and we were really pampered ! While booking the hotel I was not sure about this hotel. The hotel was far better than my expectations. Rooms are good sized, clean and neat bathrooms are well maintained clean. Restaurant was in ground floor was nice the food was tasty. Good breakfast in morning many choices. I checked out for spa but looks like it’s closed maybe due to higher charges. Overall hotel is good for staying

Comfortable stay for a night. Location is good away from chaos but not far from key places to visit in the city. They helped with parking of my vehicle just outside the hotel even though they don't have car park facility. There is ample free public parking in the lane so parking is not a problem but at owner's risk. Had all basic stuff including toiletries in the bathroom so did not need to ask for anything . Can stay again in future.

We stayed for a day for our visit in Varanasi. The location is good and everything is at an accessible distance. However the rooms where that great there was smell of damp. But the restaurant and the complimentary breakfast was very good and so is the behaviour of the staff. Special mention of Payel in the restaurant deserves special mention as she served us well during breakfast.
