Abbiamo soggiornato per una notte in questo hotel che affaccia sul lago di Varese. Location tranquilla e rilassante. La nostra camera aveva un grande e comodo letto e un piccolo terrazzino. L'hotel ha anche un ristorante aperto al pubblico che non abbiamo provato. Ci torneremo sicuramente anche per provare la loro cucina che, a detta di altri, é molto buona.

L'hotel si trova in una zona periferica di Varese , però molto verde e tranquilla, una vera boccata di ossigeno dopo il traffico della Milano laghi e della città. Accoglienza efficiente ed educata senza fronzoli, camera bella e spaziosa . Punti forti sono la facilità di prenotazione , l'ampio e comodo parcheggio , una parte addirittura ombreggiata e la colazione super al mattino. Molto frequentato da turisti austriaci e del Nord Europa. Prezzo a mio avviso più che equo ( 82 euro compresa tassa di soggiorno) tenendo conto che era un sabato sera ed in città in contemporanea vi era un concerto dal tutto esaurito.

We went with another couple for 3 nights. You wind up the hill to the hotel, alongside the (currently out of service) funicular station, with the Sacromonte to explore just behind and spectacular views out across wooded hillside to the plain and Lake Varese some 1600m below. Buses will take you (with one convenient change) into Varese itself. Silvio and his staff were friendly and attentive throughout, ensuring we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable, each with a large terrace from which to enjoy the views. The highlight is the cooking. We ate off the card with its wide range of enticing dishes. There is a slightly cheaper menu with fewer choices if you want 3 courses - we found 2 courses off the card better. You must try the tasting menu! At 66 euros each it was a treat but we thought it excellent value for money. It is not specified beforehand - exactly what you get will depend what ingredients are available and best day by day. We started with flavoursome smoked fish, followed by traditional tuna with veal sauce, better than I have ever tasted. Then came risotto with truffle (which we love). We thought the spaghetti with field mushrooms even better. Then duck, beautifully cooked and tender. And an artistically presented chocolate based dessert. Having asked what style of wine we preferred and at roughly what price, Silvio produced a notably excellent Sicilian red to accompany our main course. The evening was outstanding and hugely enjoyable.

we chose this location for a 1 night stopover on our way to the south of France. We selected it because of the beautiful location and the promise of a great restaurant on site - we were not disappointed! The room was spacious, beds comfortable and the bathroom also large and clean. I always particularly enjoy the window shutters which ensure that the room is dark enough at night. Dinner was absolutely delicious, having enjoyed an aperitif beforehand on the lovely terrace with a view of the lake. Breakfast was absolutely fine, and we carried on with our journey to France well rested and fed ;-).

I was on a Northern Italy Lake Tour with my mom and best friend with 25 other people. This hotel was the second stop of our trip. The travel company selected the hotels, so we were at the mercy of where they put us. If you like rock hard beds, wafer thin pillows, scratchy rough sheets, semi clean rooms, abrasive and rude staff, then this is a place for you! The two stars are for excellent wifi connection and speed and friendly housekeeping staff. This is clearly a very busy hotel. Every time we went through the lobby there were groups checking in. The sign said the air conditioning in the hotel would be on until 10/22, and we checked out before the 22nd and it was never on. Rooms were stuffy and hot. We had to ask about opening the window, which we had to sign a waiver (understandable - there are no screens). Each bed had one very thin pillow. When we asked for 3 more (one for each in the room) the look of dismay and surprise from the person at the front desk was almost comical. The fridge in the room was stocked daily, but never was cold enough to even chill the bottles. We had the same waiter two nights and he was miserable, unfriendly, inattentive and just down right rude. I tried to be friendly to see if it would help - and it didn’t. When asking for directions at the front desk the person seemed annoyed that we asked, was very curt and snotty. Even when looking at other staff they all looked miserable - no one smiled. At least the housekeeping ladies were pleasant and greeted you with good morning and a smile. Not an overly welcoming experience and I couldn’t wait to check out and continue on our trip. If I was to come back, I certainly would not book to stay here.

MMartina VAn okay hotel, really polite staff location is not the best but you have 2 supermarkets just in front of the hotel, But IS TOO FAR FROM THE LAKES. the room are okay really plain and don't expect anything else, NO TEA/ COFFEE SOAP/ ANY EXTRA to make a nice welcome. The majority of food that is offered is, gluten, lactose free, vegan. But some people don't like it and there's not many other choices. Too much sweet food, not much savoury and please do not order the eggs. Also breakfast it's from 7 to 9:30 and if you for e.g. arrive at 8 30/9 most of the food is finished and it doesn't get replaced. If you like coffe ask for a double or even triple as it tastes like water. Overall is not bad but for that price you can find much better.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaSplendida location, molto suggestiva e con vista mozzafiato. Le stanze sono comode, silenziose e spaziose, nonché estremamente pulite. La colazione è eccellente, dotata sia di numerose opzioni dolci che di altrettante alternative salate. Piccolo dettaglio molto apprezzato: un sacchetto di biscottini di benvenuto per il mio cagnolino, il quale peraltro ha particolarmente apprezzato. In poche parole: hotel consigliatissimo!

PPengguna TetamuWe came here for 1 night. A group of 8 friends. We arrived late at night and the the check in was quick. It has a Great meat restaurant just there with good food and atmosfire. The room was cleane and you can park your car near your room. We had the possibility to add Breakfast and pay 10 ero more. We preferred to eat outside. They have a beautiful spa. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to enjoy it.

Hay que pagar 3 euros para recibir una toalla para la piscina, que por cierto podía tener algún tipo de decoración de jardín, hay máquinas muy buenas en el gimnasio pero no hay bicicleta, etc.)

Booked for two nights to go to a local wedding. Daniele on reception was fantastic, and really flexible with my needs. The guy who works evenings was also really friendly despite me turning up at midnight (thanks, Ryanair...!) The location is perfect, and isn't too noisy either. The room was spotlessly clean, and the aircon was a welcome surprise. Breakfast was buffet style, with breads, cheeses, hams, and then cakes and tiramisu(!) For the price, in such a gorgeous town, you really can't knock it.

From the outside the hotel looks very nice - it is a big villa with a little garden in front. Our room, however, (one of the suites on the top floor) was not properly cleaned. There were hairs in the bathroom, a lot of dust everywhere and spiderwebs around the bedside tables. Although they cleaned the room again after we arrived we did not feel comfortable. They do everything very superficially: at breakfast for example they don’t even bother to wipe the tables between customers (except on our last morning when there was another waitress). The street nearby is very loud, also during the night. A positive thing about the hotel is the free parking and the location: around 5min from Varese by foot and a lot of nice restaurants nearby.

L'hotel si trova in una zona periferica di Varese , però molto verde e tranquilla, una vera boccata di ossigeno dopo il traffico della Milano laghi e della città. Accoglienza efficiente ed educata senza fronzoli, camera bella e spaziosa . Punti forti sono la facilità di prenotazione , l'ampio e comodo parcheggio , una parte addirittura ombreggiata e la colazione super al mattino. Molto frequentato da turisti austriaci e del Nord Europa. Prezzo a mio avviso più che equo ( 82 euro compresa tassa di soggiorno) tenendo conto che era un sabato sera ed in città in contemporanea vi era un concerto dal tutto esaurito.
